Description

Lovell Auto Repair was a small automotive repair shop located in the suburb of Rolt Heights. Many residents consider one of the reasons that rundown areas have so many car repair shops is that there appears to be a higher percentage of older cars in need of repairs. Such was the case for the Lovell Auto Repair. The auto shop was owned by Herbert Lovell, a Vietnam veteran, and Patty Lovell, his wife. In all respects it was an old-fashioned Mom-and-Pop shop, with cheery service and great prices. Though Herbert always had a "thing" for Petrol. Some would say an odd fascination. The day he heard the sirens signaling the outbreak he ran inside his shop, gathering Patty and as much gasoline as he could carry with him, and took shelter in the basement. When the zombies final came pounding on his doors Herbert shared his last moments with Patty as they huddled in fear. Whether intentional or not, a single candle they had lit managed to ignite the gathered petrol and caused a massive explosion; engulfing the entire basement and all zombies around it. Since then some zombies, and survivors, avoid the ill-fated auto shop.

These days after the "Malton Incident", the auto shop is controlled by the survivor group [ Newgrounds ]. While still considered a horrible hideout, with a permanent funk of petrol that not a single person can place, or why everything in the basement is charred and scorched, not many will ever know.

Barricade Policy

This building should be Extremely Heavily barricaded at all times. This is in accordance with the barricade plan set forth by the Burchell Arms Regulars, who routinely monitor the barricade level for this building. This building is meant to serve as a safehouse for Malton's veteran survivors, and thus requires the Free Running skill to be properly utilized.

Survivors who find the building's barricades below their assigned level are asked to assist in raising them back up in order to help ensure the safety of all the survivors staying inside the building. Any survivor found lowering the barricades may be directly "put to the question" by any member of the B.A.R. present at that time. If this happens the accused survivor must present a valid reason for their actions or be labeled a zombie spy/death cultist and be judged accordingly.
