I took a stroll through Tapton today and saw a total of around 25 zombies scattered about, with just 2 waiting at the revive points. Almost all of the resource buildings are powered and I couldn't find a single building that was ruined. There are still sporadic break-ins, but they're becoming increasingly infrequent. - Cerulean 09:28, 18 May 2008 (BST)
May 6th
Most of the buildings in Tapton are now barricaded and a few are powered. Both revive points are nearly clear. However, there are still active zombies in the area and break-ins are not uncommon. The Dead have also been known to revisit the suburb on occasion, so survivors should remain wary. - Cerulean 03:18, 6 May 2008 (BST)

Persistent zombie activity here has kept this suburb from getting back on it's feet. Zeds target any and all repaired and recaded buildings, and are killing everything in sight. RRF, the Dead, and even the Feral Undead have been spotted here.--FLZombie 15:26, 30 April 2008 (BST)

External Military: "... around a hundred and fifty in Tapton ... a few big groups, but they're spread out ... several buildings with power ... serious collateral damage ..."--Scott Timewell 04:27, 15 April 2008 (BST)
- The suburb of Tapton has been trashed once again. Most of the buildings are in ruin. The RPs are overflowing with rotters. This suburb should be considered once again to be very dangerous, although StäV is still trying to ameliorate the damage, and revive as many as possible.--FLZombie 19:48, 15 April 2008 (BST)

- Over the last couple of days, zombies from neighboring Kempsterbank have been steadily pouring into Eastern Tapton. Several buildings in the area are ruined and groups of zeds numbering into the double digits have been spotted. Revives at Dix Place will probably be slow for awhile. - Cerulean 23:19, 4 April 2008 (BST)
March
March 30, 2008
Just about every building in the suburb is barricaded and several are powered. The Dix Place revive point is clear and the number of zeds at Rhodes Park was in the single digits as of yesterday. Not many zombies in the area overall. Danger level lowered to "moderate", at least for now. - Cerulean 22:17, 30 March 2008 (BST)
March 10, 2008
Most, if not all, of the buildings in Tapton are now ruined. Both revive points are overflowing with zombies, so the unwilling undead may wish to seek out revivification in a safer suburb. - Cerulean 04:48, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
March 7, 2008
The majority of the northwest corner is ruined. Many buildings have been broken in and the survivors inside killed. The groups of zeds aren't large, but there are many of them. There are a few buildings still powered and caded, but the zeds are slowly eating away at defenses. An organized group of survivors may be able to push back this little invasion, but it needs to happen soon.--Irioth 16:55, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
March 6, 2008
Somebody shook out a mausoleum down here, f'sure. Small groups, but they're everywhere. I've been crashin' in on Ständige Vertretung for a few, and the zeds're wreckin' all in their paths. Today they got the Beville Auto Repair and the Sabine Towers, and, by the looks of this wound, looks like they got me in the process. My advice is to stay out, or run fast. Faster'n me, at least. --Gaston LeBeau 20:16, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
March 3, 2008
This is TigerFangRed, one of the generals for the IB legionaires. I ventured into the local police department(Haag Plaza Police Department) and noticed a crowd of 15 zeds outside and the doors wide open. I went inside and 4 zeds were inside. I shut the doors and called Cpt Adam for support. Us two and a few survivors already inside the PD helped fight them off and raise the cades a bit. Tapton is starting to see significant activity, with red suburbs inching ever so closely towards our quiet little suburb. Prepare, citizens of Tapton, I see zeds on the horizon!--Tigerfangred 20:29, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Dangerous?!?!? You're not kidding!! St Luke's Hospital has been overun by a mob of 15 zombies! Most of the survivors inside are dead and dragged out into the street - the few that are left won't stand a chance - there are now more zombies than survivors!! I had to flee, as they were attacking me all at once. I would have been <gulp> one of them in minutes! Not sure what's happening now...not good... This entry 22:11 EST - Johnny Skrull
February 25th
Tapton has become a bit more dangerous over the last couple of days, as small groups of zombies have moved into the suburb from the North West. Swithun General Hospital was recently ruined by a mob of undead numbering into the double digits and other resource buildings in the area may also soon be in jeopardy. Rhodes Park is currently packed with 16 zeds, though some of those are likely rotters and not awaiting revivification. - Cerulean 08:07, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
February 21st
A decent number of zombies have gathered at the designated Revive Points and are waiting for scientists to get to them. An indoor patrol of the eastern side of Tapton shows that barricades have been maintained well, and the overall health of survivors has remained strong. - Rogue of Hearts 00:20 EST, 21 February 2008

NecroWatch reported from the Chaffin Building revealing that there were only 6 zombies within scanning range. Of these numbers 3 zombies were at St. Piran's Church, while the remainder were scattered. Overall there appears to be very little zombie activity. --Mobius187 17:46, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

January 13th
- A stroll through Tapton today revealed only a single standing zombie (who was waiting at a revive point) in the suburb, along with several survivors sleeping in the streets. Swithun General Hospital is still occasionally targeted by 1 or 2 zeds, but the suburb as a whole is very safe. - Cerulean 15:56, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Not much has changed since the last news update. Most of Eastern Tapton is barricaded and powered. In the sparsely populated Western half of the suburb, small bands of zombies still enjoy ransacking resource buildings. Though the ruined structures are usually quickly reclaimed by survivors, they are often left unoccupied. Big Bash II refugees from Kinch Heights and West Grayside have recently entered Tapton seeking safety and/or quicker revivification, but both revive points continue to run smoothly. - Cerulean 19:08, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
November 8th
A handful of buildings in Western Tapton (near the border with Greentown) have recently been ruined, including The Chaffin Building NT, Sherston Grove Fire Station, and St. Matheos's Hospital (though the hospital was repaired late yesterday and is currently powered). Several small groups of zombies continue to wander about and occasionally a cluster of zeds numbering into the double digits can be found in the area. However, the Eastern half of Tapton remains nearly zombie-free. - Cerulean 02:37, 8 November 2007 (UTC)

Not much zombies around anymore, so I updated the danger level. A few zeds in front of buildings, but the most hang around at cemetries. Most building are strongly barricaded or higher. I guess we can start having fun again. - VVigo 19:50, 26 October 2007 (GMT+2)

- Tapton is pretty much in ruins right now. I took my newly dead self out for a walk and didn't find a single building of value that's still functional. We'll be cleaning this up for a while. -OccamsRazor, 10:07PM EST (USA)

Just a warning, Kempsterbank is being hit by The Big Bash II, and all surrounding suburbs are a possible next target. Kittan 20:54, 16 October 2007 (BST)

Due to recent undead activities I changed the map-status from safe to dangerous. If more cold ones enter the area and do more havoc another change is adequate. Major 'Dutch' Schaefer, at your service. - Frunobulax 15:51, 17 October 2007 (EST +2)

September 19th
- It's been about a week since Tapton was almost completely destroyed and most of the suburb has already recovered. The Chaffin Building NT and a couple of fire stations are currently ruined, but the rest of the area's resource buildings are barricaded. Groups of dead numbering into the double digits are rare and there are very few zombies overall in the 'burb. The queues at both revive points are relatively short. - Cerulean 06:48, 19 September 2007 (BST)
September 16th
- After Sabine Towers finally succumbed to the relentless legion of dead on Sept. 12, the few residents of Eastern Tapton left alive were forced to flee the area. Small groups of survivors have now begun to return to the district, as it appears that many of its zombies have migrated into Kempsterbank. A handful of buildings in the East are currently barricaded, but it remains to be seen if the human population can rebound. • Several buildings in Western Tapton have been reclaimed and are now protected by barricades. The Chaffin Building NT has been powered for about 2 days, though it's under constant attack by a moderate number of zeds. • Wait times at both revive points remain long. - Cerulean 03:47, 16 September 2007 (BST)

September 11th
- Nearly all of Western Tapton now lies in ruins, including the Chaffin Building NT and area hospitals. The North East quadrant of the suburb has also been thoroughly ransacked, but many buildings to the South remain barricaded and a few are powered. Much of the fighting is currently centered around St. Luke's Hospital, Morrhall Drive Fire Station, and Haag Plaza Police Department. - Cerulean 00:52, 11 September 2007 (BST)
- Update: Morrhall Drive Fire Station and Haag Plaza Police Department both fell within the last few hours. - Cerulean 04:51, 11 September 2007 (BST)

- Need some survivors to come to Chaffin NT so we can put a genny in and still maintain the cades.--Clubx 18:18, 8 September 2007 (BST)
September 6th
- Following the collapse of neighboring Brooksville, undead hordes have begun to migrate down into North West Tapton. The pace of revives at Rhodes Park will likely be rather slow over the coming weeks, due to the large influx of feral zombies in the area. Groups of walking dead numbering into the double digits can still be found in Eastern Tapton, but most of the buildings in that half of the suburb remain barricaded. - Cerulean 21:04, 6 September 2007 (BST)
August
August 28th
- Vacationers in Tapton may want to exercise caution. Particulary in the SW corner. Yesterday evening there were several small groups of zombies in the area. In addition, almost all of the buildings seemed to be at EHB, making finding cover difficult. --Grifton 02:38, 29 August 2007 (BST)
August 26th
- Over the last several days, the situation in Tapton has improved considerably for the survivors. Break-ins still occur in the Eastern part of the suburb, but a good deal of progress has been made in the rebuilding efforts; most of the area's buildings are now barricaded and many of them are powered. In underpopulated Western Tapton, small, but determined, groups of zombies continue to have success ruining resource buildings, but survivors are often able to quickly reclaim them. The queues at both revive points have finally been cleared, so wait times should be minimal. - Cerulean 08:59, 26 August 2007 (BST)
August 17th
- 10 zombies at Triggs auto repair this am at 8:24 EST. - Doktaratchetti
- There are a few Zombie's in Rhodes Park that have nothing but Zombie skill's. Also St Matheos' Hospital has been ruined can someone with a toolbox fix it so I can get back into my home, Thanking you... - Spellunker
August 15th
- There's been a lot going on in Tapton lately. The Minions of the Apocalypse have recently ransacked several buildings along the Eastern border with Kempsterbank, most notably Haag Plaza Police Department. In the West, the Chaffin Building [NT] and area hospitals have come under attack by 87H and local feral zombies. Though there don't appear to be especially large numbers of undead in the suburb, there are many small clusters of zeds and the above mentioned groups are quite dangerous. Survivors need to be wary. At the moment, there are around 30 zombies in the queue at Dix Place and 10 waiting to be revived at Rhodes Park. - Cerulean 03:13, 15 August 2007 (BST)
July
July 23rd
- The zed horde LUE has been moving steadily westward over the past week, hitting first Blesley Mall in Gulsonside, then an NT facility in Wray Heights and finally Pole Mall in West Grayside, very close to home. They are large, well-organized, very effective, and may be headed this way. Be alert. --OccamsRazor, 22:04 EST (USA)
July 17th
- Just a quick update, Pker SillyLillyPilly was executed in Pole Mall (West Grayside) tonight. As for the rest of the suburb, zed activity has been reasonably light, especially in StaV-controlled areas. Good job, citizens, and stay vigilant! --OccamsRazor, 22:56 EST (USA)

The MOB left Tapton a couple of days ago and moved West into Greentown and neighboring suburbs. There are still small groups of zombies scattered about the area and several buildings are wide open, but most of the resource buildings in Eastern Tapton are now protected by barricades and Western Tapton is beginning to recover as well. Both revive points remain operational, but the service is still slow and somewhat erratic. -- Cerulean 16:17, 4 July 2007 (BST)
Taptons only NT; The Chaffin Building is ransacked and still under Zed Control. with a group holed up inside. Due to the importance of the Building and there only being one (that has limited appeal to new survivors) it is proposed to go against the UBP and change Chaffin to from VSB to EHB and the Ikiff Motel be downgraded from EHB to VSB to act as an entry point --Jetpac 16:23, 4 July 2007 (BST)

Tapton status has been official updated VERY DANGEROUS, Designated a RED ZONE.--Jetpac 21:57, 28 June 2007 (BST)
Tapton has become completely overun with Zed hordes roaming the entire suburb destroying barricades and killing the inhabitants therein. Many key buildings have fallen, with Swithun General Hospital being the latest to fall. This is especially problematic as it was a key building for medical staff such as myself for launching healing excusions into the other buildings for those who are fighting the hordes. I have been healing nonstop 24/7 and feel i've done all i can. If help dosent come soon, im afraid i may have to abandon the suburb i call home. Tapon is in dire need of Millitary help and its status should be changed to very dangerous.----Dr Alan Schleigal 11:04, 28 June 2007 (BST)
- Today, the Militant Order of Barhah released this statement to the citizens of Tapton: Embrace your death (impending or otherwise) and accept the True Barhah. For we have cleansed your land of the foul harmanity and brought the peace of Barhah to your souls. Do not go to the Needle! That way lies damnation; instead, take joy in your claws and teeth, and allow the spirit of the True Barhah to move through you!
- The MOB further went on to announce that Tapton was a tomb, harh harha ahaha.--Jorm 17:04, 28 June 2007 (BST)
- Revive queues are currently running at 30+ at Dix Place, and are expected to grow from the 14 humans eaten inside Sabine Towers this evening. If it is any consolation, they were delicious. Srekto 04:42, 29 June 2007 (BST)
June 27th
Swithun General Hospital is Wide open with multiple zeds inside, many killed and generator smashed.--Jetpac 22:44, 27 June 2007 (BST)
St. Luke's Hospital and Haag Plaza Police Department were both reclaimed by survivors at some point within the last 36 hours, but it didn't take long for them to succumb yet again to the undead hordes. At the moment, nearly all of the resource buildings in the East are ransacked and many other nearby buildings are wide open.
There are currently around 30 zeds waiting in the queue at Dix Place. Revives are still happening, but the pace is terribly slow. Zombies in need of revivification may want to consider shambling off to other revive points in safer suburbs, where wait times will likely be far shorter. Cerulean 07:58, 27 June 2007 (BST)

Morhall Drive remains firmly in undead hands, with roughly 18 walking dead inside. The situation at St. Luke's is improving, with only 1-2 zeds stationed inside. Quick action could get valuable medical aid to weary survivors pinned down by attacking hordes and lingering infections. -- Arthur Patstone

Hopefully I'm doing this right, it's my first attempt to get a message out to the other survivors. It's 02:13 EST June 24th. The Barricades at St. Lukes are holding, they are at EHB so I couldn't make it in. I fled Bainton Arms after multiple zeds breached the perimiter but I'm gonna have to catch my breath before I can go back and try to help retake the place. Safe resting spots are few and far between so take your time moving through here and don't get caught outside. As soon as Bainton Arms is back in survivor hands again the first round is on me. Good luck everyone and Godspeed.
- St Lukes has been taken and ransacked

St. Luke's has multiple zeds inside. It was still barricaded when I left 6 hours ago, though barricade has probably fallen by now. The Bainton Arms has fallen. 22 zombies outside Dix place waiting for rez. Threat lvl has also been raised for Tapton. Novas, 12:20am, 6/24/07 (EST)

- It's been happening all over Malton. There was an article on Yahoo [2] recently about free massively multiplayer games and Urban Dead was one of the games it featured. Apparently, a lot of people read the article and decided to sign up, so now there are a bunch of new characters (mostly survivors) running around town. Cerulean 09:12, 20 June 2007 (BST)

Not much news to report lately. Despite threats from the Feral Undead last month, the zombie population in Tapton has continued to shrink dramatically; at the moment, there are only around 5 or 6 standing zombies scattered about the entire suburb. Nearly all of Tapton's buildings are barricaded and many of them are powered. Survivors are advised to remain vigilant though and remember that it's never safe to sleep outside. The beer still flows at Bainton Arms, home of Phil's Freaks and thier honorary undead member Billybobz. Stop by to enjoy the decorations and specialty brews just don't hurt Billy please. The conversation is a bit slurred but provides a nice break from the groans outside.
May 10th
Tapton has suddenly become almost boringly secure. There are a few individual zombies scattered about and minor break-ins still happen, but it's rare to encounter groups of more than 3 or 4 zeds. Both of the suburb's revive points have finally been cleared, so wait times at either location should be extremely short. - Cerulean 13:34, 10 May 2007 (BST)
- Unfortunately for you, one of your residents has been shooting his mouth off with unfounded allegations about Feral Undead members breaking rules, so your nice secure little suburb is about to feel the wrath of the game's largest zombie hoarde. Enjoy! Robinxe 00:03, 15 May 2007 (BST)
April
April 27th
The MOB finally left Tapton a few days ago, making the suburb a bit safer for survivors. There are currently 10 zeds at Dix Place and 15 at Rhodes Park. I'm not sure which of those revive points has the shortest wait. - Cerulean 16:45, 27 April 2007 (BST)
April 11th
The Militant Order of Barhah has been on a rampage through Tapton over the last several days and they've successfully destroyed many of the suburb's resource buildings. Last night, with the help of a handful of RRF members and feral zombies, they launched a surprisingly effective attack on Sabine Towers (Ständige Vertretung's HQ). The building was quickly ransacked and it's now occupied by a mob of zeds.
Revives are still occurring at Dix Place, but they will likely be very slow for at least the next week or so. 28 zombies are currently waiting in the queue and the surrounding area is crawling with hostile zeds. - Cerulean 00:52, 12 April 2007 (BST)
April 10th
Haag fell to the zacks last night. Their current status is unknown, as I am lying face-down in a sea of thirty-two dead bodies at Dix Place (amoung 17 standing zacks as well). With Mockridge Heights just north of us in the red, north Tapton is growing steadily more dangerous. --Pyrranha 03:44, 11 April 2007 (BST)

Inquisitors of the Militant Order of Barhah were seen breaking into the Wagner Building and St. Luke's Hospital, as cleansing continues in Tapton tonight. --Anthony Burgess 04:57, 9 April 2007 (BST)
The fighting has spread this evening as zombies have broken into Haag without much effort, though they have encountered fierce resistance of roughly twenty-five survivors inside, presumably armed. It is believed that Morrhall has also met with a zombie break-in this evening. --Pyrranha 02:38, 10 April 2007 (BST)
April 8th
Roughly two and a half days ago, a swift-moving horde of zombies, estimated to be forty or greater in number, swept through Morrhall FD, Haag PD, and Sabine Towers, killing at least twenty, destroying generators, and claiming the local area, including Bainton Arms. Less than a day later, however, survivors reclaimed the buildings, and power has already returned to Haag; however, zombies still remain outside just north of where the attack occurred. Survivors are recommended to carry guns and ammo. Lots of ammo. --Pyrranha 23:50, 8 April 2007 (BST)
April 4th
The queue at Dix Place has been short to empty over the last few days, so revives are quick with very little wait. The Renegades have set up a HQ in Eastern Tapton and are helping to clear the area of zeds. A mob of zombies recently camped out in front of Sabine Towers (Ständige Vertretung's HQ), but they suddenly, and somewhat mysteriously, vanished. Cerulean 22:04, 4 April 2007 (BST)

Zombies recently broke into both Morrhall Drive Fire Station and Haag Plaza Police Department, inflicting many casualties upon the humans. Right now, there are around 30 zeds waiting at the Dix Place revive point, but people are being revived at a steady (if somewhat slow) rate. Cerulean 05:15, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

The Calvary has arrived! 20 or more members of the Shadowclan have arrived in Bainton Arms pub as reinforcements. Currently they are involved in minor infractions with straggler Zombies. Zombie presence still high in the west side of Tapton. Sherston Grove Fire Station secure and at VSB. Status of other fallen buildings unknown. cif 19:56, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
March 3rd
Several buildings along Tapton's Western border have been subjected to zombie assaults over the last few days. These include: the Chaffin Building [41-78], Sherston Grove Fire Station [40, 75], Cullingford Road Railway Station [42-73], St. Matheos's Hospital [40, 73], and two factories at [40-77] and [41-76]. Zeds have successfully breached the defenses of all of these buildings at one time or another. St. Matheos's Hospital and the Chaffin Building are both in survivors' hands, but the Sherston Grove Fire Station is currently occupied solely by the dead. The fate of the two factories, as well as Cullingford Road Railway Station, remains to be seen. Cerulean 15:51, 3 March 2007 (UTC)

Zombie break-ins have been recorded in Haag Plaza Police Department. The building has plenty of survivors to repel the attack, but very few of them are working to push the zombies out and barricade the building. It is unknown whether this is a staged attack or a spur-of-the-moment attack. User:Christopherr 8:19 am Eastern time, 23 February, 2007

Tapton survivors (all of them, not just the self-promoting ones noted in the previous news article) have seen some action in response to zombie incursions on the E and W borders. St Matheos's Hospital and Haag Plaza PD have been recent targets with the former being completely ransacked and then reclaimed. As yet no identification of the zombie intruders has been made - it is unknown if they are ferals or an organized horde. Non-aligned survivors owe some thanks to revival-oriented groups such as Ständige Vertretung for keeping people up and breathing. The Gin Fairy 11:12 pm, 22 February 2007 GMT

Control of Tapton is finally in human hands thanks to Alpha Elite Squad. Zombie Presence is very little and most die quickly. The efforts of Alpha Elite Squad and many other survivors have proven to hold Tapton in human hands now. The town is nearly zombie free.User:Ghost Alpha 12:01pm eastern 6 February 2007

Control of the building has been back and forth all day. The building is now at VSB+2, but there's no one inside, and 5 bodies in the street. Thank you to everyone at the Earle Arms right now, but Swithun is empty and barricaded. We need to get some people inside and defend it so it doesn't fall into undead hands again.--HereticSoul 6:16, 16 January 2007

As of roughly 7:00-8:00 Eastern Time, there was one survivor and a zombie inside the adjoining Earle Towers, and 3 undead inside Swithun. The doors to Swithun were secured, while Earle was wide open. The building is ripe for retaking; this is a call to anyone in the area to help resecure it, and give us a foothold in the north of the suburb. Bainton Arms is at VSB and there's a good crowd there; I am trying to repair Earle Towers, the survivor is here, and the zed has been dispatched, though the body remains. I repeat: ripe for the taking, survivors. This is a call to arms.--HereticSoul 10:07, 15 January 2007 (EST)

Swithun General is again devastated. Currently there are five zombies outside and three inside. The doors are wide open, and there's a survivor that will join the undead soon... Something must be done. Otherwise, Haag Plaza still stands, as do the other hospitals - though they are at EHB, so good luck getting in. Zombie presence is low, mainly around Dix place, except for the recurring problem at Swithun-- cif 11:37, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Graaaah! Mr Shambler is pleased that the plague of live flesh appears to have been driven from the streets of Tapton. The area around St Lukes is especially bare! When questioned the Shambling One gave this sage counsel: "MmMMMmMm GrAbz MaNz! HaRmZ mAnZ!" --Mr Shambler 22:54, April 27, 2006 (BST)

After what appeared to be almost no prey, they've disappeared. What happened to all our human 'friends'? Well, the RRF EXCURSION party is in town, so we've eaten a large fraction of the humans here. We'll move on soon, I'm sure. Don't know if we ate Boss Mustang, offhand. --Fred Dullard 01:00, April 27, 2006 (BST)
