- If you wanna use that image for your group, there's an upload feature on the sidebar to the left, and from there it's simple enough to replace the pacman image in the box on your group page with your new one. 00:02, 13 July 2010 (BST)
i need someone to make a group for me my group name is Tactical Terror Resistance Front —The preceding unsigned comment was added by LaBrigade (talk • contribs) 01:43, July 10, 2010.
Okay, seriously, Mis, you do WAY too much. I was just typing up a comment about how that's not really something we do, and here you go and do it... —Aichon— 01:56, 10 July 2010 (BST)
- It's not even the first time, either. I should probably sandbox a subst template I can use for it in the future, I think this is number four. 01:57, 10 July 2010 (BST)
Cough
Tried to post a comment via the standard wiki talk page interface but found myself unable to. I believe this constitutes your 1 week's notice. ;) ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾᚨᚾᛏ 06:36, 10 July 2010 (BST)
- He actually asked about it in advance and I think the consensus was that people were either indifferent or okay with it, given that the + shouldn't be used if you want to follow the guidelines of his page. —Aichon— 08:24, 10 July 2010 (BST)
- Page guidelines are of debatable enforceability, especially compared to breaking wiki functionality, and the reason I noticed was because it's actually always present even when you scroll down and thus obscures page elements further down the page.
I'm not overly fussed about this one compared to others, just wanted to make sure – and it's a good thing he checked first (though I will read your link to see what exactly the arguments were ;)). That said, there are a few about that are definitely nowhere near as benign as this, and I intend to attempt to eradicate them where I see them. :D Cheers! ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾᚨᚾᛏ 08:42, 10 July 2010 (BST)- Hmm...I hadn't noticed the scrolling issue previously, but you're completely correct. And definitely read the link! As for enforceability, that wasn't what I was getting at. I was citing that as his "pressing reason" for doing it, which would give him the reason he needed to break wiki functionality, as you put it. Plus, later versions of wiki software allow you to remove that link outright, so if the wiki were upgraded, this would be a non-issue since it's a feature of the software itself. —Aichon— 08:48, 10 July 2010 (BST)

FYI this is what I'm talking about. ↓ ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾᚨᚾᛏ 21:39, 10 July 2010 (BST)
- I knew it did that, but at the same time, it's always right at the top where you should have already read by the time you've scrolled enough for it to obscure it. I don't know how to block the "+" any other way though. Also you seem to have the same problem I used to - your sig totally doesn't look like it does in your image when I view it, it's just plain text. 21:42, 10 July 2010 (BST)
- I see his sig as is, but with slightly less fancy font.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 21:46, 10 July 2010 (BST)
- You don't have
the rightfancy fonts installed, so it's falling back to defaults. Also, given that it's covering my sig, is it technically impersonation? :P ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾᚨᚾᛏ 21:50, 10 July 2010 (BST)- I have this problem with the majority of these previous sigs. What font is it meant to be? 21:52, 10 July 2010 (BST)

- Apparently you lack the Cochin font as well, so you're falling back on Arial for my sig. Cochin comes standard with Office, I thought, but I may very well be incorrect about that. It makes a BIG difference in how mine appears though. Arial is so heavy-handed compared to the elegance of Cochin. —Aichon— 03:52, 11 July 2010 (BST)

yo yo yo , I wanted to clear up what i'd said on a/bp cause I didn't want you thinking i consider you a bad ssyop. I vote aichon and i said you let personal opinions override your better judgement as an op, I hope you don't take this personally. I don't meant you're a bad op, in fact, I think you're one of the best at the moment, particularly your presence in the entire place, if only we'd had that back in early 09. Either way, don't take what I said personally plz, it's only a critical analysis of the ops and while I maintain what I said it true I don't expect you to consider it a bad form, off hand comment. Just a heads up that I do respect you, especially knowing that at my worst I'm not any better. Or any soberere.

- Meh. I get involved tenaciously when I see things either being done wrong or being done when they shouldn't, if that holds me back from promotion then I'm not the man for the job. You apologise too much. 18:57, 11 July 2010 (BST)
- Perhaps. I re-read the comment and felt somewhat bad, as if I was being unecessarily harsh on yoy, wanted to make sure you didn't feel it was focussed on you etc. BTW I just had an epic battle with my friend in Fifa 10, Dutch vs spain. As a part-dutch I played Holland and won 1-0. Placing this here as some sort of octopus-clairvoyant-win incase they pull it off and I can pretend I'm an octopus master for a night : D --
- I'm hoping the Dutch win it simply because Gabby Quinteros and Miss Hybrid are handing out free blowjobs if they do. I assume "free" does not include airfare :( 19:30, 11 July 2010 (BST)

...I'm gonna let you archive my sig off this page. This is here for that future +1! --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 17:19, 12 July 2010 (BST)
- You know, it's you posting this message that makes your previous message get archived. There's a strange John Connor feel to that. 17:21, 12 July 2010 (BST)
- I know. It's better letting my message archive it than rather someone else post a new message and archiving it. Because if someone else posts a new message, there's gonna be a nice gap in time where my siggy's not linked here. =P --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs 23:34, 12 July 2010 (BST)
