I think The Dead Awaken should be changed to something which is a little more of a NPOV - Jedaz 11:39, 7 April 2006 (BST)
Nexus War needs a description. --V2Blast 22:10, 25 May 2006 (BST)
I made the entire article more NPOV. Lightman 01:08, 4 August 2006 (BST)
Outbreak is a lot closer to Doom than it is to Urban Dead, as far as I can tell...I mean, the plot comes straight from Doom, and so do almost all of the demons... Dweezle Maharg
- It is similar to UD in terms of game mechanics, though. Vault 18:41, 30 June 2007 (BST)

New page
I propose adding a page to the Wiki under the "External Links" category called "Related Media" (or something to that effect).
I think that people that enjoy playing this game might enjoy other Zombie-related books and movies.
For instance, most people know about the Living Dead Quartet, and 28 Days Later. Most might even know about World War Z and Cell, but what about I Am Legend, Plague of the Dead and Dead City? (esp. the Walking Dead graphic novels)
I just thought it might be an interesting companion to the "Related Games" section. I don't know if this is the right place to put this suggestion, but I'd be curious to see what others would think of this.
We wouldn't endorse anything, it would be more of a "If you enjoy this game, you might be interested in the following books/movies". Wiki editors could also add a rating system or review. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Malcolm203 (talk • contribs) 18:25, 30 June 2007.
- I'm not a mod, so I won't move this. But this is totally the wrong place to post this. This section is for suggestions for Urban Dead, not the wiki.
- I suggest this is moved to Category_talk:Related_Games as a suggested expansion of the category to include non-game related info. armareum 17:40, 30 June 2007 (BST)
- Done. On a side note armareum this is a wiki not a forum, and this action doesn't have to be performed by sysops. You were perfectly capable and allowed to do so yourself. The only extra powers a sysops has are defined by his or her extra editing powers, like renaming pages, banning users and deleting pages. We do have a very limited modlike power concerning invalidating votes but that's it.-- Vista +1 22:03, 30 June 2007 (BST)
- Duly noted, just didn't want to overstep the mark. armareum 00:53, 1 July 2007 (BST)

Does anyone know if Jailriot has any official, commonly used, or reasonably well-informed forum/wiki/etc.? If not, does anyone know how to contact Haploid and ask him to make one? --AlexanderRM 00:22, 20 September 2007 (BST)
- http://jailriot.forumotion.com/index.htm A forum I made. I posted on your talk page as well. Trying to locate Haploid to see if he's interested in some help w/the game. --Jokimoto 20:35, Dec 9, 2007 EST

Purge!
With half these sites either abandoned, or 404'd we need to review this page completely. Any objections? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 13:51, 26 October 2010 (BST)
- Regarding concerns like the header above this one, perhaps keep those historically relevant to UD's history and community, for example Nexus War, even though it isn't around anymore it was always a bit of a parallel to UD? -- LEMON #1 13:55, 26 October 2010 (BST)
- I was thinking, current headers, but with a bottom section for dead/inactive games. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 13:57, 26 October 2010 (BST)
- Yeah, good call. -- LEMON #1 14:01, 26 October 2010 (BST)
- I see little reason for anything here but Nexus and Vampires! to be listed, really. 15:15, 26 October 2010 (BST)

Opines
As UD continues it's relatively slow death, my interest in finding a similar game that actually has players increases. I have played a couple of these and found them suffering the same faith. Does anyone play any of these or another games that are similar and aren't dying (or compensate some way for the decline)? On a side note, I actually like shinto better than UD, but if you think UD is dying try shinto. --K 20:46, 21 November 2014 (UTC)
- There's Project Zomboid as a more high-tech option. Multiplayer came out recently. It's in alpha and still pretty cheap. -- AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 02:21, 22 November 2014 (UTC)
- Try https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cataclysm:_Dark_Days_Ahead Cataclysm Dark Days Ahead, or CDDA, is an open source survival horror roguelike video game. Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead is a fork of the original game Cataclysm. CDDA features text based graphics but has an alternative graphical tiles version. The game is freely downloadable on the game's website and the source code is also freely available on the project's GitHub repository. Rock, Paper, Shotgun named CDDA in 2016 one of "The 50 Best Free Games on PC". Voyager (talk) 06:44, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
- As a player, that (and the description you posted) tells me very little about the game at all. So it's a survival horror roguelike - what's it about? Who do you play? Can you cooperate with other players? What the game is like is more important than whether or not it had a Kickstarter. I guess I'm just saying that as an end user I'm interested to hear about new games, but that doesn't sell me at all.--Queen Mum (talk) 20:30, 23 July 2017 (UTC)
