The Elorian Lancers
Yes, we are the Lancers. Quality over quanity, they say, and we are the embodiment of that adage. We stand firm here to show the world what we, as Maltonians, can do, and what we, as a group, can do. For the zombies are upon us, and battle is nigh! We have struggled through the dark days and nights as you have, and we have slept with one eye open, as you have. Our hands have always been upon our weapons as we stroll through the streets, and all of us have collected scars from our sojourn here in this city.
Yet who gives up but the weakest of men? Who find despair where there is none, who squashes hope with melencholy cries? "It is the end!" they say, "It is the end!" But no, it is not the end. We have not yet begun to fight our battle, the true battle- the one to end this war!
It will not come soon. It may lie in the distant future, many months ahead, but in the meantime, we shall do our part to ensure that that day comes. The day when we can walk in the streets without fear of injury, the day when our homes are freed once more. For it is tyranny these zombies impose upon us!
They are not a foe to be underestimated. They ambush us in the alleys. Their claws bring down our barricades and strongholds, and their teeth rend the flesh of our defenders. They cunningly disguise themselves as humans, and walk the floors of our safehouses. But they are a foe, and mercy cannot be shown to them! For it is every last man for himself- except for those who fight for the cause.

The Cause
So what is this cause? Who made it? Who is there to see it prevail? We are, that is who. The cause is that of every survivor, the cause that every forsaken citizen holds dear. The cause of humanity, that must be borne upon our shoulders above the snarling fangs of the enemy. Yes, we shall fight, and we shall defeat every last zombie, even if all of our number should die in the attempt, for you can never keep a true Maltonian down- we shall always, always rise again!

But then, who directs the Lancers? Who calls them to order and leads them into the dark? Who runs this war machine as it rumbles through the streets? We fight bravely, yes, but it is only with coordination that we can win this battle. Our leaders stand with our fighters, and that is how we win!

Operations Headquarters
No matter how large a group is, it will never reach its full potential unless it is organized. No matter how good their weapons, they will never go as far. Clean your guns, and they will shoot farther! It is on that principal why we organize ourselves. Small operations, such as seizing a low-level building as a foreward base or holding and helping another structure are deemed as 'Projects,' while larger operations, such as advances into enemy territory and securing a strong base are called 'operations.' Small things, like setting waypoints or gathering locations are deemed 'objectives.' Only general information and locations will be provided here, so if you wish to learn more, you must first know how we work- and you will know that only if you are one of us!

Project Redman: Run a low-key supply depot in Northwest Malton to aid other survivor groups. FAKs and other such things are needed. Update: Now moved to Barrville.

Policies
Policies that we abide by- with exceptions made for certain scenarios, of course. Generally, however, we'll adhere to these rules.
Player Killers
Player Killers, or PKers, are not tolerated in or around this group. We will not ally ourself with such users in any form or fashion. Our headquarters are neither havens nor centers for player killers, and we will shoot them on sight. If you have been PKed by a player in one of our areas of operations, let us know!
If you have been killed by one of our members, please take a screenshot and notify Captain Leah immediately.
Bounties
We will not allow bounties to be placed on our members. If word reaches us about such a bounty, unless we have cast out that member, we will respond with due force in word and deed.
Espionage
Spies are not supported nor used by this group. Caught spies will be evicted, shot, and banned immediately.
Building Breach
In the instance of a safehouse breach, the Lancers are to fight so long as there is at least a 3:2 human to zombie ratio. At the 2:1 ratio, Lancers are to flee the building unless it is of vital importance.
Waypoints & Destinations
Waypoints should be checked if they are upon your route to a destination. Reports should be filed with Captain Leah on our forum.
Operational Conflicts
If there is a conflict between objectives of operations, the larger group always has priority.
Retaking a Location
Retaking a safehouse, Lancers should move in concert (or as close as possible) to quickly take and barricade the building, as piecemeal attacks are worth little. Lancers should have supplies for at least three days of fighting before joining a raid!

For most general fighters, your inventory should roughly amount to this (at all times possible):

Obvious, room for flexibility should be taken into consideration, despite the fact that this brings you to 100% encumberence (obviously, Radio Officers would forgo most of the weapons, taking radios and transmitters instead, while Support Officers would also drop many of the weapons except for high-yield (shotguns) guns for emergencies, generators, and plenty of FAKs.
Skills
Due to the fast-paced nature of combat in Malton, we do ask that you at least have the skill Free Running and/or First Aid. The zombie skills known as Lurching Gait and Ankle Grab are also imperative. Body Building, Basic Firearms Training, and Hand-to-Hand Combat are also extremely useful.
Combat Reviving
Absolutely not allowed. You waste three valuable syringes when you combat revive, possibly more. One on the revived zombie, one for the guy who needed the needle, and many more for everyone who dies as a result of the revived zombie's actions (ie, barricade destruction, generator destruction, etc.).
Courtesy
Lancers should be courteous. Often, it is not the zombies outside that kill us, but the lack of cooperation within that does.
Seiges
Inventory balance in a seige should shift more to the defensive roles, ie, more transmitters, generators, fuel, first aid kits, and especially syringes, rather than guns and other weapons. Hold resource buildings at all costs and return to the main building at the end of supply runs to keep it fortified (and act as a barrier for other survivors). Remember to say our banner quote to the zombie masses! "You ask too much of us, sah! Surrender? No, I believe that is not an option!"

The Battle for Shearbank
Amidst the chaos engulfing the suburb of Shearbank, home to Stickling Mall, we Lancers are regrouping and readying ourselves for the war effort! Our operational base in this campaign is to be the Hitchcock Building in Millen Hills, conviently located near by the mall. Here is where our newer members train up for the battles ahead!
The Charge on Caiger
On the dates of May 1st to May 4th, the Lancers were preparing with the CMS to launch an attack on Caiger Mall. The mall was retaken before the official attack time (6:00 PM EST, or the Server Reset) came around. Now, we must hold the mall as survivors loot it.
The First Massacre of Molebank and the War of West Becktown
Almost all Lancers were killed at the Flowar Building- all those who were able to attend, anyway. A strike by the Lancers, Ghetto Cow, and the Aardwolf Rangers failed mainly due to a lack of interest/manpower.
