LEADERSHIP

After operation Purity of Spirit I feel I am no longer able to lead the group in a proper good way.As of the 6th of April I officially resign from LCD leadership.The following things are required from the candidates for the post -

1)Name

2)Brief statement in which they explain why do they think they are capable of leading LCD.

A voting will occur after that in which LCD members will vote for the candidate they support.The one who gains the majority becomes the new leader.

If the situation cannot be resolved that way I will establish Tribunal choosing people I see fit for the post.

Omar Bradley - Held the group together while operation one was going on, continued leadership of all field missions since then, most active wiki user, most active forum user.

Zod Rhombus - Current leadership position in CDF, I am well-known as a diplomat and level-headed emissary. I believe in peace between survivor groups. My service to CDF is well documented and fought alongside LCD as well. I promote a stable environment. I am current commander of all away military operations including strike teams for CDF and have in use a far-reaching spy network. My military experience IRL helps in my gameplay strategy. I have alliances with the other CDF, CMS, PA Rebel Alliance, Warseers, McZed's and Channel 4. I am active on the wiki and I don't flame anyone. Yeah. I like the three groups thing a lot, we should try it. Make Artyhur Silly in charge of that group, with h4rdcor3 second, with other medics in our group and the revivers with them. Then give me Brendy, Mich fuchs, Nauls, Zendar, and Renslow into a small secondary group, since we're already at Caiger. Rico and you split the rest and run the roywood squads. Thoughts? I don't think having medical/revive as a separate group is the best way to do this. You may wish to attach medics/revival staff to strike teams or to home defence. How about this:

There are two ways of defining someone's role:

1) By designation (this is their job): I suggest 5 broad roles: command, medic, revive, scout, fighter.

2) By task (this is their mission): I suggest Home defence and one or more strike teams.

A person may be attached to one group at any time (but can switch between groups).

A person can have one or more designations within that group.

For example, I would see myself (Arthur Silly) as Home defence/revive & medic. Cortonna currently as Home defence/command & fighter. Maul as Caiger strike team/fighter etc. Sev07 is currently covert operations/scout

Well no, not really - its actually one less division than your original suggestion as the medical/revive group wouldnt be a separate team. The point is a that people in a division fulfill different roles. A typical strike team should almost certainly consist of at least 1 commander, several fighters and scouts and some medical back up. In a well organised mission, people need to know both the mission objective and their role within that mission hence the distinction between group and designation. --Arthur Silly 16:11, 6 Feb 2006 (GMT)

Yeah so basicly we will have strike group and home defence group.If possible can people apply under this to which group they want to belong and the role they want.Personally I see myself as home defender,plus I have to run the place.

Roywood Discussion

Roywood

Ok, the general plan so far is this:

Gerrard PD is our home base. Primary revive point is The Whitlock Monument.

We need to do the following:

1) Secure and power the following buildings:

  - St. Linus' Hospital
  - The Purt Building (necrotech)
  - Garson Towers (phone mast)

2) As a secondary objective, secure the following important buildings:

  - Monica General Hospital
  - St. Dismas's Hospital  <--- Secured & Powered TT
  - The Gilesi Building (necrotech)

3) We need to tag local buildings with our presence. Tags outside should point to the revive point on the 8 squares around the revive plus at the key buildings mentioned above.

4) Everyone should try to get a mobile phone if they do not already have one. You can find them in Mall Tech Stores (9%/16%), Clubs (4%), Bars (1%), Junkyards (1%?)

5) We need to formulate a barricade plan for the area.

Visited Caiger�s Mall revification center St Isidore�s Church. There were few zombies but I was attacked right away, when DNA-scanning. At this light how it will be when there are few hundreds of Zs. Rev-point will be infested with medic-killing Zs. So shouldnt we have rev-point of our own.

Arthur Silly -- We already have our own revive points. If you die, if noone else can help and if you can find them then maybe you can call the A-Team. Hey hang on thats not right... um if you die, make your way to Nurten Avenue in Darvall Heights [25,21]. I check it daily when I have syringes.

Wow I really cannot believe LCD would actually remove this statement I made the other day:

You know I could understand it if this wasn't true, but I tried to defend the LCD, check the CDF forums, you'll see how I would argue with most of CDF that LCD had apparent good in them, that they could be trusted, TO simplify it, I was defending LCD's every action, After the fact that I could not receive a revive on Nurten, [it was clogged with rotters I think], I asked cortonna for a revive, you know cortonna's response was, change your affiliation to LCD, and come to roywood, in short disown CDF, saying how they were all incompetent fools. I was shocked I figured we were all in this together, but no, LCD does have somehting Shady going on, whatever it is it isn't right, pertaining to the whole MaulMachine incident, that wasn't right...dead wrong at best...making random threeats to CDF isn't a good idea either, too bad though, so many good soldiers, LCD just doesn't have the responsible leadership to go with it. AS for that listing of Amazing to that list, there was no need for such an irresponsible action, shame on you Maul!
