Crowbars, fire axes, fuel cans, lengths of pipe, and portable generators can be found here. Factories have no internal descriptions. Factories can be barricaded normally.

History

One of the oldest and most successful (historically speaking) businesses of Richmond Hills, the Bowerman Brick Plant was responsible for creating and providing much of the material used in construction projects, not only in the suburb, but all eight of those surrounding it. Piles of bricks awaiting shipment were a common sight at the yards of the adjacent Lea Boulevard Railway Station. One can still find many examples of buildings in the area built from bricks made at the Bowerman Plant.

Dating back to the mid-1800's, the Bowerman family were pillars of the community and were responsible for many charities and public works, the most notable of which was their creation of Bowerman Park, dedicated to the children of workers in the community in the 1920's.

The factory saw it's last productive years during re-building and construction efforts in the decades following WW II. As the suburb saw its way into the 1970's, a drop in demand and a failure to adequately diversify began to to take its toll. By the late 1980's, the factory was in an overall decline, producing a fraction of what it was once known for.

One of the surviving heirs of the Bowerman family officially closed the doors of the plant in 1995. Legal difficulties kept the property from being put up for sale however, and the plant sat untended and abandoned until the outbreak and quarantine.
