Radio MDD: The Heat is the name of the radio station that broadcasts news relevant to the members of the Malton Department of Defense.

The Station

Started Dec. 2, 2007, not long after the merger of the DHS and NCIS that began this group. The station broadcasts are usually done over the MDD official frequency, 26.32, although recruitment broadcasts can be heard over the more listened to suburb channels from time to time. The location of these stations can be anywhere safe, although the covering member usually brings all resources with them and sets up in an abandoned building without much tactical value.

The news usually varies from several topic's including:

  • suburb danger level
  • informing of new orders
  • informing of new pkers/ gkers
  • relevant news
  • promotions

Then the broadcast ends with music starting to play.

Why "The Heat"

"The Heat" was chosen by the member who first began the broadcasts, named after a friend's English project. Recruitment broadcasts are kept to the main lines, "the heat" is to be used to breath a little life into the broadcasts over the group channels.

(This name has yet to be challenged)
