Big Damn Heroes

Big Damn Heroes (BDH) is a survivor group currently located out of a factory at 82,19 in Rolt Heights, Malton. Currently BDH is openly recruiting interested survivors that share the same goals. Those wishing to join BDH should visit us at our HQ and speak with any of the members there. Alternatively, survivors may use the discussion page or the this talk page to express their interest in becoming a member of BDH. All decisions for BDH are done by majority vote.

Purpose and Goals

It is our goal to restore peace and order to Malton. Our current focus is on thinning out the zombie plague in Rolt Heights, protecting survivors there and providing a safe haven at our factory with regular transmissions on zombie status in the area.

February 3rd, 2010 - I have refueled the museum but the hospital is running low, a couple of random zeds outside the museum and nearby buildings, also what is the frequency on the radio the settings at the factory are different than listed on group page- Marrion Barry

October 15th, 2008 - PKer & GKer Big Jilm was spotted at Walwyn Bank by Boyd the Bard. A generator was dropped and fueled and then CharlieFandango promptly executed Big Jilm. - Alymon October 7th, 2008 - Silverius General Hospital was broken into overnight, but is currently safe. PK activity spotted at the Patterson NT Building. -Alymon

October 3rd, 2008 - After a week or two of increased zombie activity around the Patterson NT Facility, the area seems to have calmed down and been restored to a relative level of safety. BDH does not recommend sleeping outside, but most break-ins have stopped. - Alymon

September 22nd, 2008 - Ramsden Way Firestation was found in ruin. After investigating the situation, members of BDH successfully eliminated the zombie threat and repaired the building. - Alymon

September 17th, 2008 - Boyd the Bard executed Big Jilm at the Burchall Cinema. Big Jilm was responsible for killing multiple generators, a transmittor and member Joe Horne, unprovoked. - Alymon

September 9th, 2008 - Two members of the PK Group Legends of Darkness were executed and dumped outside the Merryweather Cinema in Pashenton through the combined efforts of BDH.

August 27th, 2008 - Walwyn Bank in Pashenton was restored from ruin by Boyd the Bard, CharlieFandango and Conor McBurger. A generator was installed and the barricades were brought up to VSB. Radio transmitter next door at the Merryweather Cinema retuned to broadcast on 28.81. Unorganized zombie threats continuing to be eliminated in the area by BDH. - Alymon

August 21st, 2008 - Work has begun on maintaining order and proper barricade levels around our HQ. Periodic strikes are being made against zombie threats and members are working to stock up and develop their skills. - Alymon

City Council Elections

September 8th, 2008 - Remember to vote for Marrion Barry for Rolt Heights city councilman on September 9th. Polls open at 7am and close at 8pm on Sept. The only polling station in Rolt Heights will be at the Barry campaign headquarters at the factory at 82,19. Election day party, win or lose will be held at the The Margesson Hotel. Vote Early and Vote Often.

• Alymon...uh... Mr. Alymon has officially announced his candidicy for City Councilman and also has established his campaign headquarters at the factory. • The entrance of a new candidate has sparked widespread interest from the few beleagured voters left in Rolt Heights. - AP News
• There are now two candidates running for the Rolt Heights city council, which has a total of 5 seats. There are also reports that Mr. Alymon has bypassed the local election laws requiring candidates to register two weeks before the election. • BREAKING NEWS - Pictures of Mr. Barry have surfaced from an undisclosed source showing the candidate fornicating with the undead. Attempts to reach Mr. Barry for comment have gone unanswered as hundreds of angry protestors surround his office. - Survivor Times

• BREAKING NEWS - The pictures of Mr. Barry that surfaced from an undisclosed source yesterday were fabricated using cut and pasted pictures from old newspapers gathered in local hospitals. The only thing they show of value is the willingness of Mr. Barry to work with others in order to improve the lives of the residents of Rolt Heights. - Campaign to elect Marrion Barry.

• New reports surface of suspected crack-cocaine usage as a teen by Marrion Barry. Mr. Alymon's office has released this statement, "While I do not condone Mr. Barry's actions, the past is the past, and I want to focus my efforts on cleaning up our streets of the zombie infection." - Survivor Times
• This just in, Mr. Alymon has announced that he is withdrawaling from the race. His office released this statement moments ago, "Due to the recent rise in hostile activity in Rolt Heights, Mr. Alymon has decided that it is in everyone's best interest to focus on stopping the encroaching threat first." - AP Press

• We are saddended by the withdrawal of Mr. Alymon from the election race, but we are delighted to know that we have such upstanding citizens in Rolt Heights such as he and we look forward to working with him and BDH and others to defeat the zombie hordes and the evil PK'ers in the area. - Marrion Barry

Group Guidelines

• Members are expected to treat each other with respect and provide assistance to each other when possible.

• Every effort should be made to defend and protect our HQ and nearby buildings.

• The group radio frequency should be used for status reports on the surrounding area and should not be spammed.

Diplomatic Relations

• On 9/21/2008, a cease-fire has been declared between BDH and Legends of Darkness. Members of both organizations have agreed not to attack each other unprovoked.
