I do think microtransactions might be something interesting for UD but I don't know if I like the idea of gameplay changes tied to it. Buying cardboard crowns, halloween sweets, or new guff like that might be interesting though. Maybe vanity weapons that function like all the other dud melee stuff. But this would tip us over into pay-to-win status and I think UD's main strength has always been strategy over financing. 20:52, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

:Ok, I'll take out the monetary part. being like pay-to-win was one of my concerns, I think the micro-transaction could be a better way to make the game money. What do you think about the rest of the idea?JoshCz (talk) 22:40, 8 July 2015 (UTC)

:: Making the game money would've probably not happened so much anyway, because of the VATMOSS EU tax BS, as it'd probably fall under that rule and be a huge nightmare to deal with. As for the suggestion itself, I thought of something kind of similar with the temp buffs/perks, etc, and almost suggested it in the survey. Mine was more of a focus/frenzy bar though that'd build up quite slowly (maybe over a period of days.) and then you could use it when full (at a time of your choosing, by clicking a button to activate it.) for the duration of a set amount of ap's. So I like the second part, just not sure about the lottery ticket bit. If it could be done in a way that would prevent players/groups hoarding them and then spamming them for ages, it could work. I think it'd have to be a kind of rare thing though if done via tickets, to avoid that problem. -- Xyu 07:52, 9 July 2015 (UTC)

How To Make a Discussion

Adding a New Discussion

To add a general discussion topic, please add a Tier 3 Header (===Example===) below, with your idea or proposal.

Adding a New Suggestion

 • Paste the copied text above the other suggestions, right under the heading.
 • Substitute the text in RED CAPITALS with the details of your suggestion.
 • The process is illustrated in this image.

 • Name - Give the suggestion a short but descriptive name.
 • Type is the nature of the suggestion, such as a new class, skill change, balance change.
 • Scope is who or what the suggestion affects. Typically survivors or zombies (or both), but occasionally Malton, the game interface or something else.
 • Description should be a full explanation of your suggestion. Include information like flavor text, search odds, hit percentages, etc, as appropriate. Unless you are as yet unsure of the exact details behind the suggestion, try not to leave out anything important. Check your spelling and grammar.

Cycling Suggestions

 • Suggestions with no new discussion in the past month may be cycled without notice.

Please add new discussions and suggestions to the top of the list

A New City

Scope: A New City
Description: A New City

Discussion (A New City)

What would you want in this new city? How would it be different from regular UD?JoshCz (talk) 03:26, 27 June 2015 (UTC)

 • Just a new city. That's all I got. Maltons dead. Hell, I'd go for a new game of UD 2 if Kevan would get necrotech syringed and come back to life.-- Jerrel tlk (82nd!) (Project Unwelcome!). 20:27, 27 June 2015 (UTC)

To have a new game or a new city, you have to get some new idea to put in it. Why not just put that new idea in the old game? It would probably be a lot less work and if its shiny enough people will come back to the game and make it feel full again. I want to work on that idea, I think the one I have (the UD lottery) would make the game feel shiny, is flexible enough to be expanded upon, and importantly would bring in revenue (and incentive) for Kevan. I need to get people's thoughts on it though.JoshCz (talk) 16:17, 1 July 2015 (UTC)

Lottery Part 2

Timestamp: JoshCz (talk) 15:23, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
Type: Buff
Scope: lucky survivors and zeds
Description: I've been thinking of this idea to add spice to UD and bring in some money with it as well. players in their buy skills can now buy lottery tickets for 100xp each. There are six different classes of winners and 30 winners for each class. Each gets a perk that lasts with them for only one life (they are reverted back to normal after being killed). Each is marked by a symbol by their names, or has their name changed (if they are zombie) to indicate to all players that they are a lottery winner. Special zombies act like regular zombies in a horde, only targeted when at the front.

On the Human side, you have an Assault rifle which can kill a lot of zombies in a day, have surgery kits that perform surgery anywhere, and an architect who can put up barricades faster. On the zombie side, you have a barricade ripper that tears down barricades faster, a claw zombie that wounds a human to require surgery, and a tank zombie that has a higher amount of HP. This makes the game more fun by not only by giving power to a few, but also gives another objective for each side, to hunt down the lottery winners before they can do enough damage. What do you guys think?
