Gibbins Towers
Description
A large, twelve story housing project in the South-East corner of West Becktown.
Gibbins Towers offers safe access, for those who posess Free Running, to three neighbouring suburbs: East Becktown to the East, Molebank to the South and Lukinswood to the South-East.
History
The site was an unofficial junkyard up until the '50s of the 20th century, at which point it was bought by a trust fund, based in London.
After several years of internal discussions, the hiring and subsequent firing of 3 architects (and the unfortunate passing away of a fourth one) and requesting the correct permits to build on the site, construction finally started in October 1959. Misfortune would keep haunting the project, as several accidents and an asbestos lawsuit slowed down construction considerably.
Gibbins Towers was finally finished in 1968, under supervision of the young architect Arthur Samuel Gibbins, who promptly bought the entire top floor and moved there with his wife, Miss Eleanore Smith Roseby. They continued living there up until the Malton Incident, at which time they fled Malton, probably warned by Arthur's brother-in-law, Geoffry, who worked at The Flowar Building as a NecroTechnician.
