Description

Early Grandon PD

Grandon Place Police Department is one of the older Police Departments of Malton, and the old bricks on the outside prove it. Claw marks are present on the outside at frequent intervals along the wall, left by various zombies. The front door is ornate and carved, preserved by conscientiousness survivors who hoped to preserve some of the cities culture. The second you step into Grandon, whether it be from the roof or the front entrance, you are greeted by two men in immaculate, black suits, each of which are armed with an arsenal of firearms. After some friendly banter with them they allow you to pass. On entry to the building you find it hard not to spot the large flag of the rising sun that has been nailed to wall in the main room of the department.

History

Grandon Place Police Department was originally built in 1908 and refurbished in 1987 and has been in operation all those years. It was originally funded by John B. Grandon, and has since received funding from the City of Malton. During the 1980's and 1990's it was deemed that that the police station should be refurbished and supported by another police station to deal with an increase in crime. However, the contractors involved had made equal offers and 2 more police stations were completed nearby, Swallow Lane Police Department and Spence Row Police Department. The ridiculous notion of having 3 police departments nearly next door to each other as going to be addressed, but the outbreak prevented a statement from being released.

Since The Outbreak...

The most sought after building by the livingly challenged, Grandon has seen more carnage than any other residence in Brooke Hills. A past base of operations for The Sun Organization, this was and still is a place for survivors where they're guaranteed safety should they choose to sleep over night in this building. Though non the less, sleeping in a resource building is never too smart.

This historical building used to be the main HQ of TSO, though after many debates, it was decided that due to the building the HQ of such a reputable group, it was targeted by Zombies far too frequently. In June, TSO declared that they would no longer have a main base of operations as wherever they went, they'd be targeted by the undead. Instead, they're now spread out over the four quadrants of Brooke Hills, not to mention Eastonwood, yet somehow they still manage to keep their previous residences barricaded, supplied with generators and open to all survivors.

Grandon Place PD is now usually populated by 5+ survivors and kept at EHB, with a generator occasionally running.
