Motto "For Reganbank!" The Grey Swords Steel slammed on bone and flesh as the Grey Sword forced the Zombie back one step, and then another. Sweat stung his eyes, and blood covered his armour but even so he could still tell that the creature wanted him as its next meal. Its kin lay dead on the ground around them, their black, congealed blood already cooling in the midnight air. The other Swords were already wrapping up the last Zombies that remained; he could hear their ghastly moans as they struggled to grab hold of thier enemy. It was a futile effort. The tide of the battle had turned. The Grey Sword redoubled his efforts, gritting his teeth as he dealt blow after blow against the Zombie's rotting flesh. It was unheeding of the blows it was being dealt, and its legs bowed beneath the onslaught. It hissed in anger, its dead white eyes widening as its rotting hands were finally sliced from its grasping arms. They flopped to the ground like boned fish, and still the Zombie tried to get at him, this time attacking with its slackened jaw. “Join the rest of your kind, undead fiend!” With one powerful swipe of his longsword, the Zombie’s head severed cleanly from its shoulders. Ichor fountained into the air, splattering on the Grey Sword’s armor. The creature’s body jerked and spasmed, then finally teetered back to collapse and be still. The head kept rolling, he noted, picking up speed as it made its way down the hill and into the streets below. He listened and realized that the sounds of battle had ended. A hush had descended on the area, and with it he allowed himself a grim smile. The Dead would take no victims today. (An extract from the Saga of Stormwall's Swords). Although it seems to a city completely overrun and without much organised resistance anywhere... I have only seen a handful of survivors on the streets and too many zombies to count. Looking for a powered NT in which to regroup and get back home.... but the Grey Swords are back! 16th of August 2010: NEW GAME UPDATES! After hard fighting and constant predicaments involving us, zombies and ruins, the Grey Swords were the last to pull out of Ridleybank, and return to their home in Reganbank. Things seem all well and good, with the Swords settling back into the routine of looking after their 10x10 fortress. Rumours are of a horde in Owsleybank.... Currently out of Reganbank, standing in one of the most dangerous places in Malton, and we are loving it. This is Operation Greymarch.--Osric Stormwall 10:31, 24 March 2010 (UTC) 19th December 2009: Reganbank is reasonably safe and secure at the moment. Few zombies prowling the streets, and those who are more a nuisance than a threat at this precise time. Grey Swords are growing and have recruited a few new member in the last couple of days. The Lantrowe building is still standing tall and mighty. She is fully powered and garrisoned at the moment. Things in Malton are very dangerous at the moment. The Northeast is under heavy siege and over half of Malton is under seirous Attack. The survivors in the West and Southwest have a secure position for the moment, though it may only be a matter of time until the either we push them back or they attack us. 08 January 2010: News is that MOB is coming. We will prepare ourselves to do battle with the enemy and defend Reganbank till the last. We will be united with our allies the OBR and Section 13 and will aid them whereever possible. 29th Januaury 2010: Well finally the zombies have attacked. And we have been caught napping. But no longer. Soon we will reclaim our beloved suburb, alive or dead. We have brave allies beside us and we will prevail over these troubling times. --Osric Stormwall 19:52, 29 January 2010 (UTC) The Grey Swords: A small, organised, stubborn group of survivors dedicated to the defence and maintenance of Reganbank and more recently, the suburb of Mornington. Reganbank as many know, is pretty much a TRP wasteland, with few resource building of any worth, such as the few Fire Stations and one Hospital. This is one of the reasons for being here in the first place. This "lack" of resources means that survivors in general have to be of a stronger stock to make a home out of this suburb, how it should be in a zombie apocalypse. Mornington, to the Grey Swords, is a the key to defending Reganbank. It has easily accesible Police Depts, in the form of Ashenden Way and has enough to Hospitals to keep the supply lines open. Osric Stormwall was the first Grey Sword, finding inspiration to form a group during his time with the Knights Templar of Kempsterbank and Wray Heights. Even though he was shown respect and camaraderie within the group, Osric itched to find somehwere and start a group from scratch, and to build it with his own two hands. Walking across almost every suburb in the southern half of Malton, Osric found a home in the wilderness of Reganbank, seeing its strength in himse;f. From then on, Osric has walked across this fair suburb and has found himself a home in the Lantrowe Building. He is joined by three more Swords, Evinest, Richand and Bearded who fight everyday with him to push back the darkness. Grey Swords Code of Conduct 1. No Zerging - No Alts within 10 block, nor within 20 blocks. They should have nothing to do with your group member, the group or anywhere near the suburb you are operationing in i.e. If you are in Reganbank, they should be in Pennville. 2. No Spying Whatsoever- Don't join other groups to get information or join other forums in hopes of gaining insider information. This is not the Grey Swords way. We will meet the foe on the battlefield fairly and without any thoughts of cheating. To do so is to lower the standards of our gaming. 3. No Player Killing - DO NOT KILL another survivor for any reason. Unless proven that they have attacked you (Unshakeable proof that they have attacked you) then you should not raise your Axe, knife, shotgun etc. against another survivors. We are there to protect them, no kill them. If a group was involved in the killing and can be identified as Pkers in mind and soul, then you have the full support of the Grey Swords (in spirit aswell as in physical force). 4. No Generator Killing - These are for the common good and should not be destroyed. It's as simple as that. If the burb is in a state of emergency, then a generator may be destroyed for security reasons only. 5. Use the Radio wisely. Always help a new survivor out if they ask for advice. We are here to protect Reganbank and her people, not act like idiots. 6. Do Not Kill Zombies at Revive Points - The only exceptions to this rule are brain rotters or Black Listed characters. Be sure to check the revive points on the wiki for any suburb you are in and avoid killing ANY zombies at these specific locations. 7. In Fact, Do Not Kill Zombies in the Street. - There is no greater waste of AP than to kill a zombie simply standing outside. Wait for them to breach a building before counter attacking with the troops. If you want to level up, healing other survivors is an easier, not to mention safer way to gain experience.
