Description

Otto Street is an open street located in the suburb of Pescodside. In the days before the outbreak the street was considered "forgettable" by many citizens who drove or walked down it. Of course since zombies started walking the streets of Malton the situation has changed. It is now currently one of two active revive points in Pescodside, the other one being Mermagen Street to the northeast. Otto Street is located in the southwest area of Pescodside and is actively maintained by The Burchell Arms Regulars.

Another revive point, Sirl Plaza (93,10), was closed back in March 2006 due to the continued harassment from survivors who often killed zombies awaiting revival at that particular location. Due to public consensus the plaza revive point was shutdown.

Revive Point

This revive point is maintained by the Burchell Arms Regulars (or the BAR), a suvivor group located in Rolt Heights, but that chooses to sponsor this location in Pescodside. They hope that any undead survivor waiting at Otto Street has a pleasant, but short stay. Undead survivors are advised to wait here and member of the BAR will attempt to revive them as soon as possible. However, BAR members are a priority, as are NecroTech scientists who can revive even more people. Posting a request on the BAR forum will get a survivor revived faster, as will using the DEM tool.

People who abuse the BAR revive point, either by purposely clogging up the queue with rotted brains or by using the waiting people for target practice will be placed on the BAR's Deadbeat list. Not only will the group no longer revive survivors on the black list, but those survivors will be shot on sight.

The Revive Corps - Headed by long-term BAR member Jesus Sante, the Revive Corps are a group of BAR members who can be called to help clear the revive point of queues. This group of grizzled Regulars has years of experience with this revive point and is well-known in the suburb for providing very fast revives.

Medical Assistance

Otto Street does not provide any clinic facilities and is thus not considered to be a clinic. Still, NecroTech staff have been advised to carry carry First Aid Kits at all times and follow the SCR-protocol: Scan, Cure, Revive. The revivification point does serve as a simple triage area where dead survivors can hope to rejoin the living and thus, the battle. Because of the open nature of the point, members are warned to use the facilities at their own risk should any zombie(s) turn hostile.

Revived patients can either head north to Treweeke Mall in Dulston or St. Ninian's Hospital (90,15) just to the northwest, for further attention post-revivification.

Current Events

June 24th, 2011 - After a long dark winter, the Burchell Arms Regulars have retaken control of Otto Street and revives are flowing smoothly.

May 15th, 2010 - Local Survivors continue to enjoy very fast revive service at this revive point courtesy of the Burchell Arms Regulars. Wait time is generally an hour or two at most. Rotters are rarely spotted.

March 4th, 2007 - Otto Street continues to serve as one of Pescodside's revive points, with one of the fastest revival response times found anywhere else. In the wake of the Mall Tour '07 invasion of Treweeke Mall and the fall of the Waish Building, undead survivors continue to seek revival here and at other local areas.
