Getting close to a month with no comments. Over a month for Reganbank. Nada. So neutral means dead, right? Maybe you should have comments written in Latin. Anyway the game is named Urban Dead. Nice match.
The most feared undead horde on the west side of Malton has reformed and currently in the process of making Grigg Heights undead utopia and yet, there is nothing on the Griggs page. Reganbank is dead, yet nothing on the Reganbank page. I'd like to know WTF happened if I was a survivor living in either burb. BTW, Reganbank should be red, but why bother. Red is not a neutral color.
If this was the old days, the undead would be gloating on the burb page and the survivors would be seeking reinforcements and revenge. Rinse cycle and the survivors would be gloating and the undead would be seeking revenge. This friction creates lasting moments & memories, esteemed rivalries and bitter enemies which gives the game it's allure. Yes, things did get messy on the burb page but we are dealing with humans. Human nature is, what it is. There was a nice line in the Matrix about human nature.
UD numbers are sub 30,000. The game is dying. UD wiki is sterile, dead. Not as significant as it once was. I'm not sure if these wiki bureaucratic policies enacted contributed to the falloff. But the policies are not helping UD.

Revive Points

Removed Gilbey Street from the Revive Points list as it was not used. --Zita Swoon 08:23, 23 October 2008 (BST)

I removed Veazey Plaza from the Revive Points list, as we allready have Riddles Place. The two RPs are too close together, what only results in a waste of AP spend to move from one to another. --DrBoebboff 23:10, 16 October 2008 (BST)

Sherring Place removed with agreemend from EDU --DrBoebboff 07:48, 18 October 2008 (BST)

DORIS Historical? Bollocks

Please explain what justification DORIS has for being in the historical groups list? They're still an active group. Ergo NOT HISTORICAL in any sense of the word. Someone care to explain to me how I might be wrong? --WanYao 21:41, 8 July 2008 (BST)--WanYao 21:41, 8 July 2008 (BST)

October 2008

October 2nd

Most of the suburb lies in ruins.

A lot of survivors have fled.

There's a big Zed party (about 10) inside a ruined Merson NT[4, 59], where they are probably laughing at our puny efforts to regain the south once again.

I've marked this suburb as Very Dangerous, but maybe that's a bit exagurated.

I hope all of the other groups will return soon and work together one more time.....--Boertje 12:15, 02 October 2008 (GMT)

Feel free to re-submit the parts that are actually news, and not POV propaganda. --WanYao 13:34, 2 October 2008 (BST)

September 2008

September 27

A recently combat revived chattering figurehead of a local undead group awent aspying and discovered a bunch of slumbering CRer types. The CRed undead told friends and family of his discovery. Apologies to the innocents slaughtered. Always be careful who you sleep with.

Combat revivers will be spied on and eaten.

A big wink to those meta-survivor types who I spoke with and spoke with me during my "search". Your sleeping locations died with me. --Doc smith 02:13, 28 September 2008 (BST)

Any reason this was moved from the main page? It's still current. - elbert gray/Wolfgang Puck 17:20, 29 September 2008 (BST)
I didn't move it, but I agree it's not newsworthy. It's not NPOV, it's not suburb-wide, it's just not of interest except as some kind of group in-joke. Big winks are not news. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 18:25, 29 September 2008 (BST)
Can't deny it's not newsworthy. The NPOV complaint bugs me, though. Griggs has a long history of trash-talking on the wiki between survivors and zombies. The wikilawyers have 99 other suburbs to jack with - surely they can leave Griggs alone. It's a game, and that kind of crap takes the fun out of it. - elbert gray/Wolfgang Puck 23:01, 29 September 2008 (BST)
I agree with Wolfgang Puck here. Showing the luv/hatred for one another is a way to give an idea of how the different groups feel about each other and answers the question why some won't move. See it as Background News. - Boertje 13:05, 01 Oktober 2008 (GMT)
There are ways to trash talk and still follow NPOV and "newsworthy" guidelines. Heck I do it: for examples, go look at Dullston when the zambah invasion first started. :P --WanYao 13:30, 2 October 2008 (BST)
I mean if this news entry were tied to a TRP or some actually newswothy event, it'd be a different story. Maybe. But as it is, it's spammy. Sorry. --WanYao 13:31, 2 October 2008 (BST)
Elbert, the question (for me) is this: was that news item of interest to the majority of wiki users who want to know the current situation in Grigg Heights? It was impenetrable except to a select few who understand the in-joke. For that reason, it shouldn't be in the news section of the suburb page. If it's a message for a group - then why not post it on their talk page? It's absolutely nothing to do with wikilawyers, and everything to do with providing coherent information for everyone. --Funt Solo QT Scotland flag.JPG 15:28, 2 October 2008 (BST)

May 2008

May 15th

The Church Of The Beyonder is considering relocating our Main Mobile Base this suburb. If we do, we will send Scouts to survey the area and cleanse 'Zeds. Then, we will bring about 12 members, mostly to secure the Suburb and heal the survivors there. Then hopefully set up a necro site. If any survivors can let us know, we will not oppose other groups formed or forming there and will assist other groups there as well, our current bases are secured and we're quite frankly bored there. -thesurveyor 15th May 2008
