What the header says. Any ideas? --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 05:21, 9 June 2010 (BST)

Upper left corner, any time. When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 05:23, 9 June 2010 (BST)
I'm not fussy, somewhere where there is a mixture of survivor and zed presence. Honestly, it'd be cool making it so the second half of the tournament was when the BB3 was in the arena. mMah hah hah. -- 06:03, 9 June 2010 (BST)
North East corner. And soon. The Dulston Alliance are apparantly after Deej's ass so moving around through that lot would really be taking the piss. Fuck 'em, no fears here. Cig.gif ~ Kempy “YaketyYak” | ◆◆◆ | CAPD | 06:36, 9 June 2010 (BST)

3x3 Ketchelbank to Roftwood. Just because. Any date is good. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 12:16, 9 June 2010 (BST)
Ooh, I see whut you're doin' missus... Three malls in the playfield to work from, and another three just outside. Clever. For the most part. Wink.gif ~ Kempy “YaketyYak” | ◆◆◆ | CAPD | 12:21, 9 June 2010 (BST)
She's a woman telling her not to go to the mall is like telling zombies not to eat brains.--ZIPO/Talk/◆◆/CAPD 12:22, 9 June 2010 (BST)
Yeah, umpossible. ~ Kempy “YaketyYak” | ◆◆◆ | CAPD | 12:24, 9 June 2010 (BST)
Once it starts, you can't step outside the playing area. And I think we'll be lucky to have one of the three malls inside. Really, as DDR, I want variety, and just now the area has everything from green to ghost. --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 12:44, 9 June 2010 (BST)
Definitely North-West corner.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 15:46, 9 June 2010 (BST)
As for Date I'm literally ready now. Wet, even. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 15:48, 9 June 2010 (BST)

Frosties? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 15:53, 9 June 2010 (BST)
I'm up for it. Just give us a two day grace period to sprint to wherever it is.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 15:49, 9 June 2010 (BST)
If its in the NW I'll need more time to get there.--Michalesonbadge.pngTCAPD(╯°□°)╯ ┻━┻ 23:47, 9 June 2010 (BST)

So, shall we do this the same as all the previous AHMH? 3x3 area? Or shall we kick it up a notch depending on the number of contestants? --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 00:04, 10 June 2010 (BST)

We have less than last year, 3x3 is fine for now.--Michalesonbadge.pngTCAPD(╯°□°)╯ ┻━┻ 00:07, 10 June 2010 (BST)
Another thing, I'm gonna agree with Misanthropy to put the event in the NW. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 00:08, 10 June 2010 (BST)

OK, nobody really cares much about where or when this Manhunt takes place, so I'll throw in a few areas for you all to decide. Since the playing area will most likely be a 3x3 suburb area, I'm just gonna list the middle suburb. I'll also list some specific reasons for these areas.

  1. Lerwill Heights
  2. Reganbank - No Malls in the area.
  3. West Becktown - Caiger Mall is in the area. Who wouldn't like shooting around a famous mall?
  4. Havercroft - Who wants to shot the monkeys?
  5. Pitneybank - It'll probably be difficult to kill another contestant in Fort Creedy, since it's usually packed.

As for the date, can we all agree on the first of next month? With the event going on for a month? If so, pick an area, quick. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 00:48, 12 June 2010 (BST)

Alternatively, we can start the manhunt earlier than the first. If so, I'm thinking along the lines of the 20th or later. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 01:24, 12 June 2010 (BST)
Option 3 and ASAP --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 01:35, 12 June 2010 (BST)
Centred on Judgewood and starting soon as everyone can get ready. --BOSCH 01:48, 12 June 2010 (BST)

technical stuff

I'm assuming only survivor vs. Survivor kills will be counted? And if we head for NW it will be a no malls setup? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 11:53, 9 June 2010 (BST)

Calvert Mall innit? ~ Kempy “YaketyYak” | ◆◆◆ | CAPD | 11:55, 9 June 2010 (BST)
Umm, If you pull off a Zed v Survivor kill I recon you deserve the points, but not Zed v Zed, we outlined none of the latter last tournament. -- 12:08, 9 June 2010 (BST)
Seems fair --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 15:34, 9 June 2010 (BST)
Look, the rules stuff...It's gonna be the same as the first AHMH (with the exception of #5). And I'm thinking extra points for specific types of kills. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 00:02, 10 June 2010 (BST)
This is maybe a silly question, but for the sake of clarity, a survivor killing a contestant zombie earns no points, right? --BOSCH 03:06, 10 June 2010 (BST)
As far as I can see, the only pointless kills are zombie-on-zombie. When I fall, I'll weep for happiness 03:24, 10 June 2010 (BST)
Ok, I can work with that if everyone else can. --BOSCH 03:48, 10 June 2010 (BST)
I'm pretty sure we outlawed Survivor on Zed cause of killing whilst searching for a revive point etc. I can't remember what we came up with... -- 03:58, 10 June 2010 (BST)
In AHMH2 all kills were fine except zed vs zed, and RP kills. Survivor vs zed was okay: I killed zombie Nick, Nick killed zombie DDR, DDR killed zombie Obi (Malton Manhunt/image ark). --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 09:06, 10 June 2010 (BST)
That's the one. RP kills (RPs being determined by the Suburb map, groups in that suburb or Cemetries etc) shouldn't count, SvZ ones otherwise are fine, yeah? :D -- 10:44, 10 June 2010 (BST)
That's reasonable. So if you happen to catch someone in zombie form on their way to a RP and you can kill their ass you probably deserve the credit. But RPs should def be off limits.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 15:13, 11 June 2010 (BST)

Pointless header

You going to interview us again axey? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 15:54, 9 June 2010 (BST)

Well, I failed for number 2 due to technical problems (PC crashed and was lazy to fix it). If you want me to redo the radio show that I promised for number 2, than sure. I can throw that in. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 23:53, 9 June 2010 (BST)

The rules so far...

  1. No sleeping in Malls. Malls may only be used for resupplying.
  2. You may not enlist the help of anyone not involved in this Manhunt. (ie: Broadcasting on the radio that one of the contestant is KOS.)
  3. Most kills win, whether as a zombie or a survivor. A screenshot must be provided to validate the kill.
  4. No teaming up with other contestants. (ie: Player1 and Player2 may not "tag team" on Player4)
  5. No zerging.
  6. No kills on a contestant will be counted if both players involved was a zombie.
  7. A kill at a Revive Point will not be counted.

Those are your rules so far. Anyone else wanna add something in? Hopefully something worthwhile, not a rule that says you can screw the rules just because you have money...Any new rules you may wish to add must be agreed upon by the other contestants, so no, you cannot just slap it up there. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 01:56, 10 June 2010 (BST)

A Point System

Hey, for this third installation of AHMH, I'm thinking of doing a point system. What I'm thinking is something along the lines of the point system in Super Smash Bros, if you ever played it. So here I am, pitching you guys my idea. If you guys like it, we'll implement this into the rules. Basically, it's the same as the previous installments of AHMH. A kill will score you a point. However, previous installments of AHMH never took into account death count or even reviving an opponent. What I propose is if you get killed, you lose a point. If you get a revive from an opposing contestant, you lose 3 points.

To sum it up:

Killing another contestant: +1
Getting killed by another contestant: -1
Getting revived by another contestant: -3

So, what do you guys think? --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 21:09, 10 June 2010 (BST)

Having just been playing SSBB for the past two hours, I like it alot.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 21:14, 10 June 2010 (BST)
I'm also thinking a +2 for a Punch kill... --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 21:16, 10 June 2010 (BST)
Personally, I don't like the revied by other contestant loss, it seemes to me that it takes away some of the point of a manhunt as you are rewarding points for non-combatant things.--Michalesonbadge.pngTCAPD(╯°□°)╯ ┻━┻ 21:22, 10 June 2010 (BST)
Well, technically you don't get a + for reviving. I just put that in there as another way to attack the others points. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 21:25, 10 June 2010 (BST)
But getting found by your enemy at a revive point should have negative consequences. Since RP kills are disallowed, this allows a way to get back at your opponent, but they benefit. The benefit is hence weighed out by the heavy loss in points.--Yonnua Koponen Talk ! Contribs 21:26, 10 June 2010 (BST)
Aw. Not a fan, I'm afraid. I also tried thinking of variations before, but in the end I decided I really like counting just kills, and this being about who's the most efficient killer. No shenanigans, a game for Real Men. And Susan :D Saying that, I won't oppose, I'll play by any rules you peeps choose, so don't let me spoil the fun :") --Sophie ◆◆◆ CAPD 21:39, 10 June 2010 (BST)
That's why this topic is here. To see if anyone likes it. If no one likes it, we'll stick to the original rules of the previous AHMHs. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 21:46, 10 June 2010 (BST)
I agree. A game for real men. But DDR can still play. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 23:11, 10 June 2010 (BST)
Well, by the looks of it, everyone hates the idea. Let's throw this out than, and burn it with fire. --•▬ ▬••▬ • •••• •▬ ▬•▬• ▬•▬ #nerftemplatedsigs (status:Mudkip!) 23:50, 10 June 2010 (BST)
