RCDC part II

Greetings from the RCDC, We have seen your alliance proposal on the RCDC discussion page. I would agree that your group has certainly improved since our first dealings with you. However I can not grant such an alliance under my own power. I will poll the group on this matter and get back to your on the subject ASAP. I also ask that someone from your group, creates an account at our forums to serve as a rep for Newgrounds, if you have already done so, have that person make a post or PM me, alerting me to their presence. Thank you, we look forward to continued relations with Newgrounds.

RCDC

What up, [NG]. Hope you're doing well. I read on the Rolt Heights page how "Subsequent fighting leads to some fratricide as zombie-playing Newgrounds members are gunned down by RCDC and passing good samaritan humans."...? Um: RCDC is still a survivor group. All zombies are our enemies. Has this ever been unclear?--Bulgakov 15:46, 11 June 2006 (BST)

It's never been unclear, none of us made that edit. I'm sure Bureaucrat just wasn't aware that you're most welcome in creating holes in the brains of our zombie-playing members. If you find the post misleading, you're most welcome to re-edit it. --Frostbreath 11:20, 24 June 2006 (BST)

Hey [Newgrounds]:

We recently voted to declare peace on you (FYI: 7 for, 3 against, and 1 "let's just get really drunk" was how the voting came out). Seems like the sentiment is mutual. As you guys are actually using this page for organizing now, I went ahead and cleaned it up a bit by deleting all the shizzle from the startup bitchfest.

Now my major problem with your group is not of personality conflicts, but one of game logic: groups with both zombies and humans are not going to work. Other humans will regard your human members as zombie sympathizers, and will--justifiably, in my opinion--take you out.

Ponder the following scenario: you're defending a building, you notice some [NG] members among the crowd...and you realize that you've fought some [NG] zombies in the past nearby. How is that survivor not going to look like a zed spy? How long do you think he'll last? How many other scenarios like this can you come up with off the top of your head? ('Several' is the correct answer.)

But that's for you guys to worry about. Zombie Newgrounders, we are of course going to keep on killing you with verve, gusto, and 12-gauge shot. That's just how we roll. Human Newgrounders, dig on the non-hostile vibe between RCDC and (the human members of) [Newgrounds], and tell me what you think about the following:

have y'all thought about instituting Sacred Ground Policy in Rolt Heights? It seems ideal for it. We're thinking about building some DEW lines out into surrounding suburbs, and could help out with revives at your cemetaries. We're also willing to observe your barricade policy, once you post one. We hope you'll observe ours as well. (And here, sorry, I have to say it one last time: we were never the ones overbarricading in the first place. Believe it or not, not everything that happens in our 'burb is of our doing.).

Let me know if you have any trouble with my edits on the feud page, or anywhere else for that matter.

death to zombies,--Bulgakov 02:57, 10 April 2006 (BST)

Well that was as i had hoped for. Great! I like the drunk guy, he seems like our kind of guy.
I don't really care if we oppose the game logic, beacuse we can't reject our own members to play as a zombie if they want. I understand that you guys don't seemingly have a problem with this, you only worry about other groups who suspects something fishy about us, and will attack us. Now, that's really touching, but also very true. But then again, if a player is smart enough to realize that both zombie players and human players are working together, then they should logicly be smart enough to make a background check on us on the Wiki.
The first thing i thought of when i established a revive point was that i could might as well institue the Sacred Grounds Policy, but beacuse i am the only player from [Newgrounds] that's active in Rolt (as far as i know, at least) that has the Lab Experience skill, i'll have to waste horrendeusly many AP's searching all the cemetaries. Besides, my character is dead now, and is awaiting revival. So it'll be some time before this thing can be established.
I have no trouble having you editing the feud page. It's all yours.

Fixed up your page

Hey guys, this is Miikro from NG. Just thought your group page should look a little more like a real group page. I'm not joining, but I thought I'd say "sup."

Sup d00ds? --Aiden H. 08:06, 27 February 2006 (GMT)

Thanks, Miikro! --Matt guthrie 02:13, 1 March 2006 (GMT)

I just remembered that i never thanked you for this. It sure made it alot easier to work on the page from that point. Big thanks! --Frostbreath 12:05, 1 April 2006 (BST)

Dude, Frostbreath, the page is seriously righteous now, I freaking love it!! --CaptainM 10:59 1 April 2006 (GMT)

Hey, anyone check this thing at all? because it might make a good place to discuss in addition to the thread... -CaptainM 04:33, 2 April 2006 (BST)

I'd like to give a personal insight on the RCDC/NG feud: What a load of bull. It all seems to be about certain members' trigger happy -ness. Smashing gens and attacking members was just stupid. Fo' shame.--William Raker 10:09, 8 April 2006 (BST)

I concur with William, it seems that RCDC was getting a bit butt-hurt for things we did, while they werent really bad to start; we're just playing the game, if they put 'Smash the Generator' as an option in the game, you can't expect people to NOT smash generators... --CaptainM P 01:27, 9 April 2006 (BST)

Anyway, I've been thinking about the Zombie/human co-operation, and what problems it brings upon us ([Newgrounds] group). One awnser could be a second group for just Zombies, but as a player for both sides (not a spy or anything, I just want to try both sides, chars operate in different parts of town), it wouldn't be fair to either group to be excluded from the [Newgrounds] image. So - I think we sould state that the Human/Zed co-operation inside [Newgrounds] is just that NG Zombies don't kill NG harmanz and vice versa, and if we ally with someone, NG Zombies leave them alone, if they leave them alone. No Death Cults, no smashing gens or free-running tricks.--William Raker 09:13, 9 April 2006 (BST)

Meh, it never had to get like that, and it was never that big a deal. I don't recall being 'butt-hurt,' anyway. ...but I'm not sure your 'compromise' works, Mr. Raker. UD should be about all-out war between zombies and humans, no exceptions. (What can possibly be the in-game logic for some humans deciding to not attack some zombies, and vice versa?) I suspect the best solution for [NG] members is to follow the example set by Miikro and Nomader and join other groups IC, and use your board just for discussing the game--but I'm not one to tell people what to do.--Bulgakov 00:54, 21 May 2006 (BST)

I can answer your in-game logic problem.
Let's say for example, that your best friend dies and become a zombie. You recognize him. Now why would you not choose another zombie to kill, rather than swinging your axe and plunge it into a person that you've known your whole life? And, as the game works, he'll recognizeyou as well. None of you will touch each other, and the same will happen to anyone else in this suburb. Except for Captain-M, of course, when he gave me an infectious bite that almost killed me.
The zombies in this game are as smart as the humans, just beacuse they're both humans no matter what. --Frostbreath 11:30, 24 June 2006 (BST)

Peddlesden Village Resistance

You know me.

You may notice that I changed my players around, making KPingu a member of [NG], taking away PeregrinusNG.

The reason for this is that PeregrinusNG is now starting up the Peddlesden Village Resistance.

I wish to count [Newgrounds] as an ally, and I will make it known that the PVR is not to attack any [NG] members, whether human oz zombie. If they do, tell me. Especially for the human one. PK-ing is bad...

Discuss. --Peregrinus 02:53, 12 June 2006 (BST)

Well, I'll add PVR onto the Ally's list, I'll check up on your wiki or wherever and make sure to add all your members so no "fratricide" going on. --CaptainM 03:41, 12 June 2006 (BST)
Right now, since the group is new, the only member is me :P But I'll be sure to keep [NG] up to date.--Peregrinus 22:09, 12 June 2006 (BST)

I got PKed by a Newgrounds member

http://img175.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pkertonydarkgravejk6.jpg

This happened a while ago (23rd of Feb. '07) but I thought I should bring it to the attention of someone in charge. Tony Darkgrave PKed me in this factory using the excuse in the screenshot. I reported him on a PKer list and he's also on our hitlist on our wiki. But when I had a look at your wiki page today I couldn't see his name on your members list.

So, is this Tony Darkgrave a member of Newgrounds and was he claiming that factory as a safehouse for your group exclusively, or is he just a random player not affiliated with Newgrounds who acted on his own pretense?

Besides this event our two groups have not even interacted, let alone had any bad blood, but the BBK does not believe in claiming buildings for exclusive use by certain individuals or groups. I don't think Newgrounds would endorse such actions and so I thought I should bring Tony Darkgrave's doings to your attention.

I am looking forward to our two groups cooperating in the future.

I haven't seen or heard of this "Tony Darkgrave" before... Though I'll admit, I have for the most part lost contact with the group. I'll ask around with the members, but for the meantime consider him not part of [NG]. If it turns out he is, he will be scolded. Also, that is not an official [NG] safehouse, so I may go down and scold this guy myself. If you could provide a profile link though, I'd be much obliged. --CaptainM 20:44, 16 April 2007 (BST)

Alliance Request

I, John Killah (The Cop) of The Special Tactics and Rescue Squad, would like to request an alliance with a group from the best Flash Portal around. I await your decision.

The Great Suburb Group Massacre

Stop hand.png Group Active? Request.
In order to maintain the wiki as an up to date source of information groups are occasionally removed from the Suburb pages when they are no longer active. Is this group still active? If so simply confirm here by writing something below. If not it will be removed from suburb pages in 14 days.

Currently the suburb in question is Rolt Heights but one response to this query will be all that is needed to protect your group link on all suburb pages. I know this is a may seem a stupid request but its for all groups regardless of size. Thank you. --Adavastor 02:47, 31 July 2008 (BST)

Stop hand.png Group Inactive?
No reply has been recieved as to whether this group is still active. The 14 days have passed and as such the groups link has been removed from suburb listings. If the group is again active please feel free to revert these changes

Hi

ORPHAN.jpg Orphaned Page
The following page(s) were orphaned, meaning they weren't linked from any other page on UDWiki. For house-keeping's sake, we are adding the link onto the relevant talk page. If you don't want the pages anymore just post them on the Deletions Page. You aren't required to do anything, but we'd appreciate if it you kept the link on any one of your pages.

Please note that the link provided below will not remove the page from Orphaned Pages, so you'll still need to manually make a link for us. Thank you.

Thanks
