Description

The Hockey Museum is a Conceptual Art museum with the coordinates [4,20]. It is situated in the suburb of Peddlesden Village. As of May 15, 2007, this has been the HQ of AVHS, but is subject to change.

Notable Displays

The most impressive display is, of course, the Wayne Gretzky Retrospective. It includes a life sized wax statue of Gretzky in full Edmonton Oilers uniform lining up a slap shot. Also featured in this exhibit is the actual jersey and hockey stick used by Gretzky in a playoff game, and several kiosks of highlight reels.

Also attracting a lot of attention is the tongue and cheek St. Louis Blues Heimlich display. (Many hockey fans believe that the Blues always "choke" when it comes to important games.) As it is with all sports teams, this is debatable and subjective, but since Malton is not in Missouri the exhibit hasn't been criticized. Much.

Recently on a tour of other famous sports bars and museums is the Anaheim Ducks display. Sadly, this seems to focus mostly on the Disney movie and not the actual team.

A sentimental favorite diorama is the Ottawa Senators history. It focuses on the trials of an expansion team.

Strangely enough a new exhibit appeared after the outbreak. The Broadstreet Bullies, otherwise known as the Philadelpiha Flyers, have many sticks, statues, and jerseys on display. It is even said that the Broadstreet Bullies are sometimes seen in the museum at night fending zombies off with their hockey sticks.

The Rink of Fame features such players as Mario Lemieux, "Gordie" Howe, Terry Sawchuk, Bobby Clarke, and Al MacInnis.

Since Malton doesn't have a hockey franchise itself this museum has always struggled. Some proponents think that the outbreak was a blessing. It has had the highest attendance in history. Of course, zombies don't pay cover charges.
