St Aden is my main guy in Malton but not my only one.  He is the former leader of the DoL (Defenders of Life) survivor group.  Many of the DoL member's joined the Crimson Clan around June 5th of 2007.  We were working very closely with the Clan anyway and it worked out better for both of our organizations to merge.  The communication with the active member's of the Clan and former DoL is very good but we are still working out some minor coordination issues.
I am sorry to admit that our first mission in Dakerstown was not a success.  Things were going very well until the Extinction horde decided to ruin the party.  We were destroying the IWM scum just before the horde invaded.  After a month long battle, the Clan, which consists of many new UD member's, got overwhelmed and we decided to leave the area.  The Clan is in the middle of yet it's 2nd re-organization in about as many months.  Things are a bit confusing right now but the re-org is almost complete and we will be able to get back to business, destroying PK'er's and zombies.
I am currently a Sergeant in the Clan, in charge of a platoon of active, meta-gaming, Clan member's, including my former comrade-in-arms, Tarabon.  The Crimson Clan is working to secure the area around the Akland Mall in Havercroft.  It is our goal to bring the zombie population down and the survivor population up.

St Aden's background story.
I am the leader of the Defenders of Life survivor group!  I am a scientist, formerly a Necrotech employee, and enjoy research along with helping the residents of Malton.  I know that I am not personally responsible for the outbreak of the ZMB virus but I can't help but feel guilty for my part at Necrotech!  I prefer to help people by barricading, distributing FAK's and injecting infected folks with Reviving syringes, but I will kill zombies if I must!  I will do what must be done and some people just cannot be saved.  Some people have been infected far too long and brain rot has taken hold.  I am sorry for these people but they must be killed for the sake of humanity!

The Mission
At the moment I am on a mission in Dakerstown with some fellow DoL members!  We are working closely with the Crimson Clan to make the suburb more human friendly.  Things are going quite well in Dakerstown, but I have just arrived!  I will have a better idea of the situation in the next few days.

I am involved in two pro-survivor groups at the moment. The Crimson Clan under the guise of St Aden & Team Survivor with JJ Kid.

St Aden

St Aden is a long time member of The Crimson Clan, he has seen it through its good times and bad. He helped the Clan grow and culminate into its highest membership to date. Kris has long since left Urban Dead and I myself had taken a 3 month retirement due to inner Clan conflicts. But thanks to a few good friends who kept in contact during that time, I decided to return to the game. I began by playing just my non-St Aden characters but eventually resurrected St Aden and rejoined the group as a Militia member. That is where I am now, in the Militia but I have entered a request for promotion into the Alpha Squad.

JJ Kid

JJ Kid is my longtime Alt whom I created at the same time as St Aden. He has been one of my favorite Alts and I use him for many things up until now. JJ Kid was a member of the Assassins of Fire for a short time but quit when I retired from UD. Now that the Assassins of Fire have disbanded and I have quit reading the radio broadcasts and caring about being player killed, I have decided to create a new group with a new mentality. One that acts in a support role yet enjoys the zombie side when dead. Team Survivor was born from the peace of mind which I have gained from my 2+ years of experience as an Urban Dead player.

History

 • My cousin got me interested in Urban Dead a while back, he would play it while visiting me at home. I eventually gave it a shot and soon became hooked as so many do.
 • I created St Aden & JJ Kid and began to learn the ropes. St Aden was taken from a church in Kinch Height but I accidentally named him wrong, it should have been St Aidan. JJ Kid is just a western sounding name I grew partial too from a game called Worms, Armageddon. I now use that moniker on Halo during X-Box parties.
 • After spending some time in Urbandead I began to grow interested in, and feel the need to, form a group. My first group was the original DoL (Defenders of Life. Somewhere in that time I got a few more people interested in the game. Tarabon, who also joined the Clan and became a great gaming ally of mine, and Syris Calimar another long time friend of mine. My brother & another cousin got involved for a short time as well. All of them joined my new group and even my cousin who originally got me into the game, murmutt joined.
 • Then came the call from Kris, 315 SgtMaj Eikehaug of the newly formed Crimson Clan. They were located in Dakerstown and fighting a very hard battle with some nasty player killers known as the IWM or Imperial War Machine. Turns out this group was also in cahoots with the Extinction horde, though we hadn't yet discovered this. We stomped the IWM and I leaned how wonderful a large cooperative group could be. The Clan added a level of fun to UD I had not yet experienced.
 • Then came the retaliation of Extinction. They in turn stomped us. Kris decided that the Clan should re-locate and he made an offer for our groups to merge and for me to become the Sergeant of my DoL team unit.
 • I accepted on June 5th of 2007 and Tarabon was the only one who came with me, since he was primarily the only one of the DoL who played cooperatively with me anyway, it was only logical. The Clan, under Kris's guidance, moved to Havercroft. The Clan is still based there today. With the merger of the DoL into the Clan, zerging became a regular event, that was due to myself and Tarabon joining, for few-to-none of the Clan members were zerging at that point. Within a few short months, The Crimson Clan became unstoppable.
 • Things got rocky for the Clan. Kris began to disappear for extended amounts of time, returning with major changes and then disappearing again. This caused frustration within the group and left us feeling uncertain as to our next moves. I took the reigns during those times since no one else seemed eager to lead. Eventually Kris took a 2 month leave and things began to fall apart.
 • Kris returned to renounce zerging. I moved all my Alts, including JJ Kid from the Clan domain. The Clan no longer allows members to zerg from this point on. JJ Kid moves back to Lockettside to Bounty Hunt for a short time. He eventually joins the Assassins of Fire and other Alts Join a few other groups. This ends up being temporary since it involves so much more to be in multiple groups and much of the joy I felt while zerging in the Clan has vanished. Kris ruined the Clan in my view at that moment. Then he retired for good.
 • After Kris's final disappearance, I decide that I am either gonna quit the Clan or take it over. The Clan decides that they want me to take control. A new forum is created and a new era within the Clan begins. We become great again and grow by leaps and bounds. My other Alts are retired to Dulston and I begin to only use St Aden.
 • I begin to grow stressed and tired from internal squabbling and overwork doing Clan duties. Much of this is my own fault. I discuss retiring from the Commander role. This was a mistake and the Clan doesn't recover, and has not yet recovered. The new leadership upsets me greatly and I quit the Clan and Urban Dead in one blow.
 • 3 months later, after an extended leave and much needed break, I returned to the game. Urban Dead was much of my life prior to my retirement. I was spending 4 to 6 hours on average doing Clan stuff. I was burned out. I begin playing only non-Clan characters. St Aden remained dead to me. I knew then that I no-longer wished to deal with the politics of a group. But at the same time, I didn't want to tarnish the Clan's reputation as a non-zerging group, so I decided to remove my Alts from within the Clan domain once again, and resurrect St Aden. He now dons the Clan tags and is a member in the Clan's Militia.
 • I however remain interested in this dual-nature playing style. But while traveling with my Alts I can't help but see some anti-zerg rhetoric and get a bit pissed. Screw these guys from telling us how to play. Kevan has created ways to make zerging less effective. Anyway, I began writing a rant against the zerg hunters and desire to get all zergers with a pro-survivor lean to join forces to squash such jerk-off players. This rant evolves over time, and my new group idea emerges. St Aden is busy and the Clan will not go for zerging ever again, I am sure of that but I want to involve my friends in the Clan with such an enjoyable group idea.
 • JJ Kid becomes the Commander of the new group Team Survivor. I invite trusted Clan members to join it. It seems to be going well, our numbers are still super small, only 5 or 6 today, but it should begin to grow soon. The key is to keep the zerg hunters off our back until we can become large enough to ignore them all together.
