As you are doubtless aware, NecroWatch is at best a loose confederation of like-minded citizens. We recieved a "complaint" about the ALICE template being to obtrusive. We started a discussion between it's creator and us. He gave us carte blanc to re-do as we saw fit. However, we also took this opportunity to change the design as this new template promotes NecroWatch, which is the whole reason we started the template idea to begin with. The ALICE template is sooo cool, but only promotes us tangentially. I must admit, I took action quickly once we had a general consensus and no one voiced a dissenting opinion, so voila! Nothing is carved in stone, all things can change. But it is nice to just get it done, too. BTW, thanks for the adjusting the code. That's a bit of a weak spot for me.--[[User:Dr Mycroft Chris|Dr Mycroft Chris]] 21:08, 17 June 2009 (BST)

Re: Promo and others

Good work, mate, but I'd like to change around the message content a tad (I'm a bit busy at the moment, so pay me no mind), and as you can see here (ignore the textual content, it's just a placeholder) I re-did the colour and indent settings to fit more pleasingly into the template. Did you say you redid the scan update template thingy of Alka's? Bravo! Do you have a link to it? I don't see it in your sandbox. Sorry for the brusqueness, I'm a bit pressed for time. No problems here, just wanted to get it up and running. I am not the world's best copywriter. You can see the changed example to the Suburb Scan Template on our NW Talk page or in my Sandbox3. The source for the template on the WIKI is located here--Dr Mycroft Chris 11:06, 14 June 2009 (BST)

Hello.

Hello Doc, I am in Williamsville. Hope you drop by for a visit sometime. I left Old Arkham for know. I attacked a guy. I went crazed for a second. I will be serving has a doctor for the power station at a building a little north of there. Please do talk to me. Have a cup of tea. --Robert Egleton 19:26, 11 June 2009 (BST)

Got your message, I'll be up here in NW Malton for the next month at least. Currently in Yagoton, the other side of the city. But keep up the good work! Do you have a phone or carry a radio? If you are doing medic work, ditch the pistol and carry an axe for defense, stock up on FAKs & get a toolbox. You may have to rebuild a hospital or two. When I am acting as a medic, I carry 4 jabbers and the rest is FAKs, like 20 of 'em.--Dr Mycroft Chris 19:42, 11 June 2009 (BST)

Thanks man. But I have no axe training. There is a hospital to blocks right. Whenever you head down there head to my building. Not sure if it will last long. I want to head over to a Ghost Town. But I don't feel ready. I'm walking over there tomorrow. After walking around Malton maybe you could stay a few weeks at my places. I have a few beers. --Robert Egleton 20:14, 11 June 2009 (BST)

I will be staying at The Bugden Building --Robert Egleton 20:52, 11 June 2009 (BST)

War Buddies Militia. You want to join? --Robert Egleton 20:13, 13 June 2009 (BST)

No, I am fully committed right now--Dr Mycroft Chris 05:04, 14 June 2009 (BST)

Maybe you could start a new character?

I'll consider it...if/when I do, I'll let you know--Dr Mycroft Chris 03:27, 15 June 2009 (BST)

Okay. --Robert Egleton 18:49, 15 June 2009 (BST)

I've took the liberty to fix it. Setting align="left" causes the template box to hover to the left and the text to wrap around it. By removing alignment code altogether, the template stays to the left but the text doesn't wrap.

Just one question though, was the decision to change the template yours? Or was it a team effort?

The reason I'm asking this is because, while the template looks nice and professional, I kind of miss the good old A.L.I.C.E. -- Kittithaj 18:17, 17 June 2009 (BST)
