"You're a Zombieologist?!"...Part time
Themlogo-1.png

January 2010

January 15, 2010 Folks, the holidays hit me hard...but I see there are lots of Xmas lights up all over the place. Currently in Earletown resting up to get back to THEM. I have over 20 jabbers in stock and plan to do more suicide revives and more good news...THEM approved the ribbon! See NecroWatch soon after I've installed the ribbon. I've noticed that it is easier to CRAP an undead if they have no to few survivor skills, seems like a poor tactic on their behalf. Over the last several weeks, spent a lot of time reviving and getting revived all over the North East of Malton. You know, ran into the usual types some great people, some great jerks, most just average...

December 2009

Haslock1BuildingNecronet.png

December 29, 2009 Got Jabb? Yes! Been revived again by the lovely folks at RCDC. Man they run a pretty tight ship up here, very involved. Have been revived twice by o0 willie of UN Malton Search & Rescue, however, I don't know if he works in association with the RCDC...?

December 28, 2009 Dead...Revived...Dead...Revived...15+ people walking around thanks to me, cause I'm stabbin, jabbin' & revivin'; I'm in Rhodenbank...word to ya' mutha'!

December 24, 2009 OMG! Nurse Naughtyness revived me. I couldn't believe it...deep in the red and she came for me, through the snow & the zombies...and on foot no less! ***cues music, plays Ode to Joy*** And, get this, she was with MEMS! Ha! Revived 7 people so far.

December 22, 2009 So, I got plenty of jabbers, made it over to Chancelwood but got munched on before I could do any good. I don't know when I'm going to get a revive now but as soon as I do...I'm gonna be stabbin' & jabbin! Currently at Franks Avenue in Earletown; will put in a revive req with DEM but, who knows how soon it'll happen. This whole area is red, red, red.

December 20, 2009 Alas, I am but one man...can't fight a horde of zombies all by myself. So, I've moved into Shuttlebank to get rested up & get as many jabbers as possible (21 at last count), plan to do suicide revives back at the mansion in Chancelwood. Then I will be winding up my Tour of Duty with THEM. This new course of action does bring up certain interesting points, I mean, we all want to fight the good fight and keep the dead from claiming all that we have fought so hard to maintain. Cleaning blood stains off the wall does give one an insatiable desire for things like cake, pie, beer...LOL. However, would it be better to just abandon a suburb and deny/deprive the zeds of your precious flesh? We can always rebuild. Just imagine...the suburb is a "ghost town" with lights on, buildings intact & everything caded to EHB++++, but no one is there! The zeds have to spend a crazy amount of energy for nothing, no tasty flesh at the other end of that pile of junk..ha ha ha !

December 16, 2009 Well, dead again, this time not by zeds but at the murderous hands of another human! Zandman struck and blamed me for being a DEMster. My primary Theater of Operations is NecroWatch but I started with MEMS. Didn't work for me but still thought they had something good going on there. I really don't understand all the DEM hatred. My first day on the job with MEMS I got capped. Truth be told, it is rather infrequent that I get killed just for my associations with DEM and if someone wants you dead, well...they don't even have to give you a good reason. I've had PKers who said I was muckin' up the Barricade Plan...idiots, violent idiots but I may have an alt to join them. Seems like it would be fun just to be a murderous bastard!

December 14, 2009 Zeds are everywhere...died but, amazingly, got a revive...currently hiding in a dark building...got to tell you...the stench around here is just unbelievable.

December 10, 2009 The Mighty Haslock has fallen...as of this writing, 71 zeds inside, 23 outside. We are regrouping, reviving, healing and generally kicking ass back! We may be down but we are not out. Revived 3 people...of course, no on said "Thanks Doc!" Got-Damn Ingrates...well, I am NOT sharing my whisky. Get your own damn scotch. No, I don't have any "spare" cigarettes either

December 1, 2009 I wish I had more to report, but the truth is that as my cigarette's acrid fumes burn into my eyes, and the scotch burns into my throat, the number of dead surrounding us has gone down. The "imminent" siege has diminished, there are fewer dead around us than before. I will update the scan shortly but damn...I thought more would happen by now than just the usual griefin' crap.

November 2009

November 16, 2009 Scan for Haslock updated...38 zeds outside, 70 meatbags inside...revived a zed to get him out of there and of course the GKers are everywhere. This is nothing but the "foothills" of a siege. I was in one, right here, where there were 129 knocking at the door! But the most had to be at The Moorish NT when the scan revealed over 500 angry dead...

November 11, 2009 Zombie breakins happen all the time up here. It is a situation where you want to check in early & often. I think I've been killed at least 3 times so far. Of course there are PKers, GKers & RKers all over the place. Next door is Curton Mansion which the entire place is an RP but members of the idiocracy keep re-barricading it so of course....life up here is all about cade-ing, re-cading & uncading. And snappy comebacks...LOL

November 7, 2009 Took quite the rest from the city after all that scaning and am now putting in some time at The Mighty HASLOCK. I think a siege is a virtual certainty very soon but it is good to see some old friends again like Alf Wallace, Commie Woman, Lady Clitoria & Kittithaj.

I call any and all to join me up here for the mother of all sieges! You will have an immense amount of fun!!! Zombies everywhere & hundreds of survivors fightin' them off...just the way it's supposed to be

September 2009

NW MaltonTrek.png

September 23, 2009 I know that this is terribly decadent but after all that scaning, I just had to get me a new hat. So, I'm in Lockettside and have acquired a brand new black fedora...all I need now is a cigar to go with it!

September 11, 2009 It is done. Congratulatory notes may be sent to "My Head" ha ha ha ha! Only 2 of us here at NecroWatch has accomplished this, you know. Well, time for rest then I have to finish my Scout Reports for Gatcombeton & Dentonside.

September 7, 2009 I thought this day would never come but I am only 1 'burb away from having scanned EVERY friggin' NT in this entire city! Molebank thy name is toast...first thing tomorrow, LOL

September 1, 2009 Can you believe it? I'm still up here in the NW of Malton...Currently in Roywood, it's a ghosttown but the days are definitely drawing to a close. I will be done with this mission soon and then...?

August 2009

August 14, 2009 Ok, I know, I know...I haven't been posting as of late. Well, truth be told, we are in the dog days of summer. It's been nothing but looking for gas & gennies in the NW ghost towns;terribly dull but necessary and unbelievably slow going. Well, I am in the Ratcliffe Hotel in Chudleyton resting but have used my 2 gas & gennies, so...you know what I'm doing tomorrow! I'm hoping Caiger Mall can have some supplies left. Search rates in Factories can be very frustrating. It has been better to run a few burbs over and restock THEN come back.

July 2009

July 28, 2009 Well, that's the way it is folks...Been busy in real life with...stuff. Anyway, back on the road (always feels good!) and Richmond Hills is done and heading into Ketchelbank. We have a zoo?!? Did not know that...it's always interesting wandering around this city. You never know what you are going to find. Seems a large portion of this quad is ghost...let me tell you. Doesn't mean that it is empty, just that it's gray. You can still get your ass chewed off. You'd think it would be an easier 'burb to take down, get your scan...never assume that, same thing with green. Chances are better but...that and $2 will get you a cup of coffee. Being a NecroWatch scanman means you work alone most of the time, are genuinely surprised when someone offers help & and they follow through. It means cold coffee, hard feelings and a big soft spot in your heart that you keep well guarded for all that might have been and never will be. You learn that nothing is permanent, all you have is now and you'd better make it count...

July 17, 2009 It appears that people actually do read this "blog." Frankly, I am astounded, I've only gotten minimal feedback...Someone by the name of Pluto accosted me in my sleep and attempted to do me in with his axe. But it was the way he did it, bright lad there, says he reads about me on the WIKI all the time....wished he had enough AP to finish me off. Well, you know what they say, there is no bad gossip except NO gossip; at least you're being talked about. Cheers, Pluto! Better luck next time

July 15, 2009 Eastonwood is done! All six...back to findin' gennies & fuel and now I'm off to Darvall Heights

UPDATE-Darvall Heights done... back in East Becktown, Caiger Mall doesn't look that bad, survivors fightin' back but NE corner down with 30+ Zeds!

July 8, 2009 It's been busy, lemme tell ya'...currently in Eastonwood. As predicted, this is slow going but not un-doable. What can I say? All the nearby malls are now trashed, gotta do it the old fashion way. Also, today is the day that I got to the top of the heap. I have now scanned and posted more scans than anyone...and I'm still not done!

July 3, 2009 Been hanging out in one of the islands of Malton that straddles the border of Judgewood & Chudleyton. Amazingly, found my last 2 NTs with the lights on, this last one on he island had a genny but no gas.

June 2009

June 25, 2009 Long story short...been out of commission for a while, got dead in Quarlesbank and tough gettin' a revive, RPs jammed to capacity as far as the dead could wander. Had to get back over to Bale Mall, where I am at now. But the good news is that I am back among the living thanks to a certain Doc Richard!

June 18, 2009 Well, currently in Quarlesbank. Man, this is ssllloooowwww going. But this is a ghost town...ferals it seems mostly, lower level dead, more annoying than anything else. Once I get the next NT fired up, it's back to gas & gennies. There is only one mall operational in this sector, Bale Mall in Yagoton. I haven't had good luck getting stuff on the road, so running back and forth is eating up a lot of AP/time. However, ours is not to reason why, ours is but to scan & die!

June 11, 2009 Yagoton, some effin PKer named hewoman has got me again. I don't know what this person's problem is but I am dead at his/her/it's bloody hands again. They've been playing awhile, so, I guess that's how they get their kicks...sick. Well, whatever floats your boat weirdo...what burns my biscuit most is that he got my new fedora hat dirty. I just got the damn thing! And there's only ONE hat store in Malton, ONE The very height of ungentlemanly behavior...

June 3, 2009 So...I am going to do the NW. I think this is going to be the hardest one. I'm in East Becktown now and I have already used up both my gennies & gas. Jesus H Christ! I'm gonna' need some scotch for this series. From what I've seen, it takes about a month to do a quadrant of Malton, this might just take two. This area looks tougher...whatever. Morgan Blair is the only other NecroWatch Technician to accomplish this feat albeit with no inside look at just how it's done. I hope through this "blog" to remedy that. I've seen lot's of interesting sights. I've witnessed senseless murders. Yet, there is something magical when you see the sun glint over the rusting decay. The smell of nearby decaying human flesh is unforgettable, slightly sweet leaving a metallic, even coppery taste in your mouth. You will meet lots of interesting folks and see some decent action. Eventually, the trek is over and then what do you do? Well, you will have no doubt met other very involved survivors. You will have literally trekked through ALL of Malton. Then you can decide with a faith bordering on certitude on where you want to be and with whom you will work. See the world with NecroWatch!

June 2, 2009 Well, did my first "Ghost Town," but this 'burb only has 1 NT so...no ribbon. Hi from gloomy Lukinswood!

May 2009

SW MaltonTrek.png

May 31, 2009 Ok, I'm heading north after getting gas & gennies and I finally got a hat, rocking a fedora to be exact. Check out the Hat Shop at Tompson Mall.

May 26, 2009 Got it! Is it me or did my head just get bigger?...

NWRibbonMR-SW.pngNWRibbonMR-SM.pngNWRibbonMR-NeSw.pngNWRibbonMR-Es.png

May 26, 2009 Brooksville, 1 more to go and I am done with NTs here in the SE. I gotta tell ya'...never have I had to look for so much gas & gennies in my life. The greener the area, the more survivors slack off.

May 21, 2009 Tapton, Buttonville & Kinch Heights (Col. Hogan is MIA!) are done. Took a quick look at the suburb page and it seems we have a back door zombie front swinging down from the NorthWest, I better get a move on and get this area done. I wanted to take a bit of a rest after this but if the hordes are moving on down, I better be moving on up...problem is, I haven't seen any drycleaning stores anywhere in Malton...

May 19, 2009 Gartell Towers has seen better days, but few as peaceful as they are now. As I look out into what was once a thriving center of power production here in Malton, Krinks Power Station lies dormant. Undead roam the streets, luckily in low numbers for now, but wary survivors keep quiet and to themselves. It is thought that tomorrow the sun will come out, tomorrow. "Doc" Mycroft reporting, Williamsville

May 16, 2009 Lockettside, getting gas and gennies, progress has been made but it seems that when an area is green, people stop caring about making sure that shit's running. They get lazy. This is the time to make sure your barricade plan is in force, everywhere that needs lights is ready to go and that you have a plan for dealing with the usual PK/GK/RK asshole crowd. No Lt Weems, BTW, I think he's been zombiefied again

May 12, 2009 Seems like I've been gone forever...it took 2 days to get the gas, this turn the gennies were easier to get. Foulkes Village was frustrating because most of the buildings were overbarricaded. No one's in charge, very loose organization all over the southwest of Malton, no official radio frequencies posted, I'm surprised there are still survivors here, zombies should be having a field day in these parts! Now I'm in New Arkham & just posted the scan from The Mitchener Building, 51 zeds in the area, all the other NTs are down, so this 'burb is going to take longer than I thought because I only had 2 gennies on me. Things are tighter run the nearer you get to a mall, like Tompson. Going through the SW here is proving an interesting experience, very educational. Just because an area is green does not mean it will be a piece of cake; you will just face other, different problems. Which leads me to conclude that Malls are THE organizing & civilizing locations/"principles" here in Malton. The farther away from a Mall you go, the less civilization...

May 8, 2009 I'm resting by The Cheeke Building next to Tompson Mall. I got no gas or gennies this time, used 'em up. So, I get on the horn, and ask for some assistance. Voila! Gas & a genny show up and I can get the scan, but I checked in too late and missed it. I get on the horn again and God Bless 'Em, they showed up again and refuelled it. No dickin' about this time, nailed it. I check in again a little later and the damn place ran out of fuel...again! Genny is still there and so is the radio. Must be something special about that place, uses gas like a '79 Lincoln, 8 minutes to the gallon...Now I will focus on getting 2 fuel cans THEN 2 gennies before I move on. Hopefully will run into Lt Weems down here. More a little later...

May 6, 2009 Wykewood scouted, now in Nixbank, got 2 out of 3, will post those scans. While I was in The Skilliter Motel a zombie broke in after I had re-established power and was resting. I was like, WTF! where did that come from? There's practically no zombies in this burb...but apparently several dedicated ones. My personal favorite was a zed named Rolo Tomasi, so I told him "he wouldn't get away with it THIS time..." Brain Rotted though, so he might very well get away with it this time.

Scout Ribbon NWRibbonSR.png Well, it's designed...played around with various ideas but finally settled on this. Blue & silver with a fleur de lis device to symbolize "scout."

May 3, 2009 Crooketon is done and so is Mornington. I was quite pleased that someone noticed my work with the scout reports for 'burbs without NTs. It is also encouraging because I had some misgivings about reporting for some of these suburbs because their wiki pages haven't been updated in a very, very long time. NT Scout reporting is an idea that will take some time to filter through to total acceptance because it demands a higher level of commitment and action than just posting scans. Something which is hard getting people to do anyway! Regardless, it should prove to be a great boon to those areas especially in time of zombie siege. This entire area is green, very safe but I did see Captain Krunch today.

May 2, 2009 OK,ok...yes, the cake is delicious, but no milk in sight to quench this thirst. There...I said it. What'choo gonna' do A.L.I.C.E.? Uh, oh...I think she's watching...Damn!ALICE.png. got Grigg Heights, going into Crooketon next

May 1, 2009 Did the scout report
HavercroftScoutReport.png
for Havercroft. Resting in Ackland Mall to get enough AP to search for another genny. (I don't know anyone 'round these parts) I have one, but you never know...when another will come in handy. BTW, I am just 2 away from a delicious piece of cake. Will head over to Reganbank next.

April 2009

April 28, 2009 Resting up in Lerwill Heights, will get the scout report from here and then shoot up to Havercroft & get it there as well

April 27, 2009 Barrville is done and I am glad I did it now, 'da zeds are on the road for Mall Tour '09, I believe, so it's alot easier to achieve this ribbon...get'er done. I am now on the road for the SW Badge and herein lies the greatest concentration of 'burbs that have no NTs, making it easier here for that aspect. However, I plan to get the NW Scout Ribbon I suggested to our team at NecroWatch. The design of said ribbon is coming soon. Next up, Galbraith Hills

April 25, 2009 In your face zeds! Tonight was the night, got the NorthEast Malton NT Badge NWRibbonMR-EM.png. I was all prepared for the worst too. Brought my own genny and 2 cans of gas. It was lit anyway, but running low on fuel, The Lance Building that is. Only 3 of us at NecroWatch have achieved this, reading all NTs from at least 2 'burbs or more. The other 2 are Morgan Blair & the irrepressible Duke Garland.

NEMaltonTrek.png

April 24, 2009 Ok, I am revived and staying the night at The MacMillan Hotel in Pitneybank. DEM was taking forever, so I got a revive in a slightly underhanded manner...anyhoo...now that that's concluded, after I have rested up, I will nail The Lance Building; of course, I stopped at the Mall and got a genny, too!

April 23, 2009 It had to happen eventually...got capped by the RRF. I'm dead in Gibsonton. Considering I've been on the road for almost a month through mostly hostile territory, that's not bad. I'm at a RP here but I don't know how fast the revives are going to happen here.

April 22, 2009 Got The Crampton Building! One left in Pashenton...

April 21, 2009 Have returned to Dunningwood, got The Usher Building and now have only 2 NTs left in this quad. Had to take some time and acquire gennies & gas. After I've rested, I'll get the last NT here in this 'burb and then swing over to Pashenton. After this, I'm going to SW Malton. Seems there is a certain Lt. Weems down there and would like to make his acquaintance. Still considering Barrville first then south I'll head.--Dr Mycroft Chris 10:35, 21 April 2009 (BST)

April 18, 2009 Back in Shearbank @ Stickling, MOB has arrived, zed count up to 83 in this 'burb and rising. Came back for a genny, got it, but now only have 15 AP left. Got my readings in Huntley Heights & Randalbank, now debating whether to make a run for Barrville because it's as safe as it's gonna get or keep my nose to the grindstone and run over to Dowdney Mall and use that as the springboard to finish off this quad. On a lighter note, made up an ad for us at NecroWatch

April 15, 2009 Got it! Raines Hills is done...jetted up to The Morgane Building with my genny & go juice, posted my scan, claimed my ribbon, alerted the proper authorities. Now resting at Lovibond Towers, nothing fancy here, just a non-descipt place with no staff...lonely, but safe & quiet.

April 14, 2009 It's like Christmas today! Got that last NT in Millen Hills, The Lazenbury Building, scooted over and got The Lambley Building in Lamport Hills, qualified for the Millen Hills Ribbon (got all 5), ran into Alka Selzer, said hi...and now have only 10 NTs left to get the NW Recon Master Ribbon. Now, I got to get some more gennies & gas and finish up in Raines Hills. BTW, heard from Alf, phones seem down in Chancelwood. NecroWatch wiki seems quiet...I guess it was the holiday. Just got Harnett in Raines Hills, but the last one The Morgane Building, was ruined with a zed inside, CRAPed him, Fixed building, will go and get a g&g now. Here I come!

April 13, 2009 I got 4/5 NTs in Millen Hills, but of course...the last one needs a genny. So I am back in Shearbank, got a genny and 2 gas 2 go. After I am rested, I'm gonna have that damn silly badge. Currently Resting at The Parkinson Hotel, things seem a little shaky for now, but I have hope that it'll be smooth walking from here on out...lol

April 11, 2009 Screw it! I'm going to the nearest mall, will load up on gennies (It's a 'burb away) and be back...later. Strike time is 08:00 MT. Map updated.

UPDATE-Shearbank is done and guess what?...I found a damn genny @ the Stickling Mall! Currently resting with my prize just spitting distance from the front drs. 4 NTs & a genny, not bad for a day's work. Of course, I almost forget to mention, I was resting up at The Gabe Building and awoke to find that some zed had decided I looked tasty, so I FAKed myself (This is the only situation when you could actually say something like that...gutter brain), took another scan and got the hell out of there. I carry no weapons, need the space for...you guessed it...gennies!

April 10, 2009 I have almost given up getting the last 2 scans here in Raines Hills & just coming back later. It has been 4 days looking for a damn jenny. (See Template to the left, thanks to Extropymine) Regardless, got a scan at The Harenc Building and posted my first Suburb Report for NecroWatch! So, the day isn't a total waste...I am back at a Factory, though, I am going to give it one more day. If I don't find that damn genny, I'm moving out.

April 8, 2009 Still in Raines, looking for a genny; 2 days so far and I've spent over 90AP looking for a damn genny! Now that I've bitched about it, watch, someone will have installed one or the next click will bring it.

April 5, 2009 Ducked down to Raines Hills from Chancelwood after getting a scan from The Mighty Haslock, I can't believe THEM is still in business! I definitely have to get some go juice if I am going to make this work over the next couple of days. Regardless, I think I'll have some time to help at the latest siege though. It is always fun to help out with a dedicated & organized group of survivors. Saw Alf, Commie Woman & Dawn!

April 4, 2009 In Rolt Heights resting after I posted that 'burb's first ever NT scan by scouting from Mare Towers.
RoltHeights.png
I also finished up Dulston, got all but one in Rhodenbank, so, I'll head back up, finish there and then head on over to Earletown. Pretty straight forward stuff these days. Why are you reading this? Didn't you see my map?

April 1, 2009 In Dulston, got 2 out of 4. I think I better stick around on this one, Dulston has a nasty habit of being red and if I don't make it back any time soon, who knows? Got to pick up some gennys and go juice.

March 2009

March 31, 2009 Ok, got to Crampton...infested. Anyway, moved up to Pescodside, got those 3. I'm thinking it's best just to go for all the easy stuff first, get it out of the way, THEN come back and slug it out. There are afterall 60 NTs in the NE here.

March 30, 2009 Currently in Gibsonton moving back into Dunningwood later tonight and see if I can scan The Crampton Building. Last night, I went to scan The Patterson Building & power was down with 4 zeds and at least 1 rotter, got up today and it was cleared & powered...Thanks! whoever you are

March 28, 2009 Made it to Dunningwood, one more NT here to check out, had to find fuel. I don't think the people of this 'burb follow their Barricade Plan and there was hardly anyone in the NT's that I checked

March 27, 2009 Back on the road again...checking NTs in the NE Malton. Currently in Paynterton @ The Woollacott Building 96,31, resting, will resume and acquire genny & fuel; have scanned the NTs in Starlingtown and 4/5 here in Paynterton (I already scanned all these long ago, 1 NT was not up and running, 1 zed inside...). Making a run for The Cater Building in Dunningwood tomorrow...Cya!

March 2, 2009 Seems like the fight is always going to be for the resources buildings in Penny Heights, NT Facilities The Rothwell Building, The Craddy Building & Lumber Mall

March 1, 2009 My recent scans showed an increase of ~20 zeds in one day, looks like we got at least a mini zed invasion

Aug. 2008-Feb. 2009

Feb 10, 2009Well, it seems we have a team in Penny Heights. They are active, resourceful and keep their word. I suspect we are gonna kick ass! RRF you have been warned. Also, if anyone from the "old days" gets this, come join us for some fun, ha ha ha. I am always surprised about what happened in PH, I mean, a lot of the people who were the most active were from this 'burb. What gives? And I am ashamed to note that I was the last person to update the Rothwell scan...in August! WTF We will resurrect this 'burb and I am all out of bubblegum too!

Feb. 6, 2009 Back in Penny Heights!

August 3, 2008 M'ville has me...Seems Malton is quiet too.

July 2008

July 17, 2008 Truth be told, since the badge, I've been very distracted by M'ville...still in Penny Heights, but my alts in M'ville are very busy.

July 11, 2008 Got it! I now am in possession of the South-East Master Recon Badge, which means I have successfully performed a scan from EVERY NT in the SE of Malton. Others have done more, 'tis true...but I am pleased with my progress, quite pleased, as any reader of my log may attest. It has been a long slog through one zombie infested shit-hole after another. However, there is nothing like such a goal to sharpen one's mind, wit and tactical prowess. I recommend the same to you, dear reader. Remember this when your hearing the thunderous applause of literally thousands of imaginary characters...all in your head! How very economical.

July 8, 2008 I am just outside The Tompson Building, I have 7 needles, a toolbox, genny and gas. Let's get this sucker! Unfortunately, I have no weapons and there are 7 zeds inside...well, I guess I will just have to rally some troops and shoot 'em up.

July 5, 2008 Man o Man! I'm just 1 NT away from my SE NT Master Ribbon. Of course, I am gearing up for it. Right now I'm near another NT resting so I can search for 6 needles, then I have to get a genny and some fuel. With good luck , I'll be under way in a day or two. Last night, I ran down and got The Hurst Building. I was very fortunate, when I got there someone had cleared out the zeds; all I had to do was hook up the genny and fuel and...viola! Scan made.

July 1, 2008 I'm still down south going for an NT scan from The Hurst Building. Got some more jabbers from Cartwright, where I am now.

June 2008

June 26, 2008 Whew! With the help of Nallan, I was able to finally get a scan from The Malcolm Building. 120+ zeds in area! There are 2 more I would like to get but I definitely have to restock FAKs, a genny and a fuel can. Thanks Nallan!

June 23, 2008 Been very busy elsewhere on the wiki, but things are very slow in Penny Heights. Started doing some work with the the Amusing Locations in Malton Group. I am thoroughly enjoying myself over there, seems to be quite the number of PHers over there. However, now that I am fully rested and PH is in decent shape, I'm going to make a run to get the final NT facility scan in Scarletwood.

This user or group is smarter than the average pubbie and knows that Barricade Policy Enforcement is just a new PKer alt group created by The Dead in attempt to make up for the ineffectiveness of their zombies

June 12, 2008 Got back to Penny Heights, but the usual crap was going on. Without the unrelenting threat of zombies it devolves into the unrelenting crap of PKers and their ilk...decided to at least finish my SE Recon Master Ribbon for NecroTech. Currently am in Scarletwood acquiring enough fuel to finish my trek. What is going on when people in their own suburb wont get it together and keep an NT powered at least, I mean, come on folks it is a resource building, you NEED it. These NTs haven't been reported on in over a month. Also, this is where Central Medical Service was originally based. Very early in my career here, I joined them but it seemed to lack manpower and noone reached out to me, and then they moved to a different 'burb!?! Oh well...There is , however a very interesting group here by the name of the Garniss Border Patrol, they serve a decidedly strong and intoxicating drink called the Garniss Special. Wwwwwhhooeeeee! Man that will take the nose hairs off! They got the right stuff going on here and couldn't feel like I'm in better hands, even though there are more than just a few zeds about. Also, re-arranged the front page a bit and created a new template, can you guess which one it is?

June 7, 2008 Made it back to PH. Scanned NTs in Fryersbank & here as well. Broadcasted a notice for DEMS/MEMS. Let's see who answers...

June 5, 2008 Location secret for now, Brains1 is after me...ooohhhhh. Turns out he didn't like being CRAPed. If I remember correctly, he was a zed IN an NT. I jabbed him, gassed up the genny, took my scan, caded and left his dead body still in the NT. His profile checked out, I thought he was one of the good guys. Regardless, it was funny; I'm checking another NT for a scan and needles when I notice someone say "Remember me Dr Mycroft? I didn't want to be revived!" he gets off a couple of shots and I hightail it out of there 'cause I got no weapons, I'm a doctor. I get several buildings over and the fucker found me again! "Why you running?!" BLAM BLAM BLAM! Well, needless to say, I got to stepping again and this time successfully evaded his ass and patched up my wounds. I have to get back to that 'burb though to finish my scans...

June 3, 2008 Currently on the edge of Danversbank, looking into Whittenside...doesn't look good. Part way in, saw 20+ zeds on street, and several ruined buildings. I don't know if they're just residual leftovers from the most recent zed passing or are they part of an organized pattern, Salt The Earth? Regardless, I will have to get another genny and fuel before I make that run to The Colglough Building. Then again, if it is infested, I'll just have to keep moving.

I'm very close to Penny Heights, basically 2 'burbs. I expect that I will return by the end of the week. In other news, got promoted to NT3, Ranger Scout with an All Seeing Eye Ribbon. I'm still going for SE Recon Master, but it will take another month or so, easily.

May 2008

May 26, 2008 Whew! Feels like I've been away for a month...training with MEMS is done! "On the road again," or "I've been Everywhere," need some road music either way. Down in Tollyton now, resuming my NT scans headed back to PH.***listening to willie***

May 22, 2008 Well, another day...zed #s were bumped up to 25 in the 'burb, but they are now back down to under 10. C.R.A.P'ed a zombie today...it was in the way! The building was ruined, so I revived him to simply get him out of the way, & it only cost 11 AP. Far cheaper than shooting the hell out of it, then I repaired the damage, recaded and left the scene.

May 17, 2008

yawns...stretches...sips coffee...

Where am I?...Oh, yeah...Pimbank...about to level up...training...MEMS...I'm gonna take a nap...

May 11, 2008 Ok, I'm on campus for training @ Wolters Cinema. Very quiet 'round here, but I did manage to snag the NT scans for this 'burb, Pimbank. The whole off-site forums thing has me a little confused, what with all the different links where you can post...I'll figure it out.

May 8, 2008 So, I joined MEMS...within 24 hrs, Magnar with the Spartans caps my ass! Who the hell are they? And why the beef with DEM? Currently am dead and resting up at RP 1S of The Morrish Building @ [84,44]. I got revived thanks to Kaisar Dragon, just waiting now to build up more AP & then do my Paynterton run. I have my genny and 2 fuel cans, whooppee! Now, break out the scotch...ice please.

May 5, 2008 Over in Gulsonside at Wasteland 77,75 by Blesley Mall. On my way over out of West Grayside, most buildings were trashed, same in East Grayside.

May 4, 2008 Well, it was bound to happen, running through hell and back...I'm zombiefied out near Pole Mall. I was resting up to get my hands on a generator and woke up dead. Well, I'm going to head over to Bunstone Alley [56, 83] & see if there're any jabbers over there.

May 1, 2008 Did it!! Blackmore scan posted! Now on with the rest of the tour. I expect that it will get tougher from here on in, my chosen path is colored with blood...I also have shotgun now

April 2008

April 30, 2008 Making progress at a pretty good clip, will make a run for Blackmore tomorrow. If I'm gonna post a scan from there, now's the time, Ridleybank has been considered a ghost town as of late as the RRF is out on the road causing mayhem...

April 29, 2008 Currently in Edgecombe. The biggest problem is you go into an NT and there is no power! Portable gennies, though are 20% encumbrance. If I'm going to do this successfully, I'm going to have to re-organize what I carry, for now...I'm an NT not a Dr. I usually like to carry about 15+ FAKs, but that is way too many if I got to get gennies as well.

April 27, 2008 Since things have settled down for now in PH, I've decided to tour the NTs in the southeast of Malton.

April 26, 2008 Seems real quiet 'round here, lately. There are massive amounts of dead bodies though. Some people think there's going to be a massive return of the dead if they all get up at the same time, would make for an interesting turn though...Been looking at the strategy/tactics pages elsewhere. Now that there is a lull in zed activity, NOW would make a good time to announce, form and consolidate any defensive tactics we have for Penny Heights. Joined the LMS forum today.

April 23, 2008 From scans & reports, seems ~100 zeds in 'burb. For now they are focused on Rothwell. Most annoying as of late is the CONSTANT destruction of radios and generators. How do we combat this? Generate lists on the wiki?

April 20, 2008 Went on a scouting/healing run, low on FAKs now, but will rest and restock. Got First Aid now, hesitated for a while over that, needed the experience. While I was scouting, took a quick head count. There are 450+ us and less than 100 zeds walking around. Admittedly, I didn't scout the entire 'burb, but from Lumber to Craddy to Humphrys and back again, there's plenty of us.

PROPOSAL Adopt-A-Zombie Program, 2-4 people pick a zombie and harass them out of the 'burb, eventually they just might get annoyed enough to leave

April 16, 2008 Stocked with 18 FAKs, on a gas run. A horde is coming this way and I'm tired of running all over the board, Rothwell is under attack. Do we have enough people in Penny Heights to perform an adequate defense? Can our mob get more coordinated? If we got everyone into just one building (whatever that may be...) and protected that at all costs, an "eggs all in one basket" approach if you will, we could make it, let the horde swarm by, then rebuild.

April 13, 2008 Back in Penny Heights, it's very quiet around here considering the past month. There does seem to be a bit of a turf war, grudge match between several factions here at Lumber Mall. I have been stocking up on FAKs, visited the NT buildings in the suburb, posted some scans at Rothwell & Craddy. Otherwise, just getting ready to head out and heal. UPDATE-Level 12 now, got Axe proficiency.

April 10, 2008 Giddings Mall is down. Wouldn't you know it, I got out of there a mere 15 minutes before the damn zeds came crashing through. There were the intermittent cracks in our security throughout the day but we defended against them successfully, or were able to simply rebuild and restock/refuel the gennys. However, I did notice they didn't have the same centralized efficiency of other places so , when 300+ zeds were banging on the NW corner, people scattered and there were not enough pinkies (us) to defend. Well, I am continuing my trek south towards Penny Heights after I get rested up. I have a few FAKs but nowhere near what I would like. Next stop; Vinetown & Mitchum Mall.

April 7, 2008 Was dead briefly in Paynterton, got revived by sad_story(thanks man!I love you!Next Friday's beer's on me...)possibly with the South_Paynterton_Aces, rested up, made a run for Giddings_Mall, Whooooeeee! It's good to be back and able to shop easily for FAKs.

TODAY'S SAFETY TIP-When you run out of one zombie infested area into another, be sure to have enough AP left over to get into a building and still be able to repair any damage and 'cade if possible and/or find buildings that have at least some survivors in them, where they have already done the work and you can add to that, then, just maybe, you wont end up on the brain buffet!

April 6, 2008 Alive in Paynterton, got rested to 50AP and ran! Crossed 6 'burbs...Hiding out, resting, will resume a run to Penny Heights. Got my first military skill, Hand-to-Hand (What do you think I was carrying an axe for, anyway? Meatball surgery?...)

April 5, 2008 Dead in Chancelwood, and I had such high hopes for the The Mighty Haslock. It all looked very good, nearly 300 survivors in side the Haslock, 150 zeds outside, we had 'em outnumbered 2 to 1! 'Round 5pm EST, I took off to run some errands and by 8, well, I returned to find 250 sleeping us and 50 z's inside having at the brain buffet. Also, met bullgod, he destroyed the genny at St. Lou's, apparently he's the founder of the feral dead? Word must have got out that we were preparing for a long time successful siege. As it was, the siege of Haslock lasted, what 6hrs? Regardless, there is a great group of people up there, THEM, met a few and was very impressed, Dawn, Alf (thanks again for the Revive!), Percy. I am going to continue to rest and get a full 50ap, THEN stand up. I don't think that I've had 50 ap since...well, I can't remember. It has been very informative though. If a suburb can coordinate and withdraw to a secure location and keep it secure, well, anything's possible.

April 2, 2008 Posted a scout report from The Firminger Hotel. Z's around us but not in great concentrations, got some rest.

April 1, 2008 April Fool's day and I wish that was all that was running around outside. Getting rested, hopefully will find a radio, later today, then more rest, stock up on FAKs. My best guess is we have maybe 3 days before our position here is overrun.

UPDATE-Got a radio!, they're slightly easier to find in Fire Station. Now am at Dunstan General Hospital.

March 2008

March 31, 2008 Well, had to continue moving, cades were falling as fast as I could rebuild 'em! Made it to Abraham General Hospital, have power but no radio. This is becoming an increasing nuisance as more and more places I enter just don't have one. Hopefully I can get at least 2 days here, one to rest and one to restock on FAKs. Then I'll try to head north to find a PD so I can find a radio. Man, do I miss having easy access to a mall...

March 30, 2008 No matter what I do, I keep getting pushed north. Currently at The_Woolven_Building_(Pashenton). Check there for the latest NT scan, managed to post a scout report from The Cosenes Building just moments before our 'cades fell. Will try to rest here and continue moving tomorrow, I am very low on FAKs...must find a hospital...

March 29, 2008 Had to move over to Heckworthy Towers, posted a 7x7 view of the area, if I have to evac, gonna' try to run to CCPD for cover. March 26, 2008 Well, here we go again, Santlerville is under siege, zombies to the left of me, zombies to the right of me...trapped with very little AP in The Anthony Building. Doubt we'll hold up much longer. On a lighter note, now level 9, went for bodybuilding skill, also, have 17 FAKs on hand and finally found a DNA scanner! When this interlude is over, I think I'll head back south to Penny Heights, reports sound good and there are lots of zombie friends that need revives. I've moved to The Sweatman Motel and have posted a Scout's view of the area.

March 24, 2008 It's nice to be back among the living. Scratch going north, Big Bash is headed north to Dulston, if not already there. After I get stocked up, think I'll head northwest. By the way, now have a toolbox.

UPDATE-I have to reconsider, technically the indignity I suffered was being Revive Point killed not PKd. I don't think such a category exists, just a damn nuisance though...Also, heard from Dr. Dorothy Zbornak and all is well with the CCPD of Santlerville.

March 23, 2008 To my everlasting gratitude, there ARE some good people here;I was revived by Kalyar[1], was dumped by someone else out of the St. Emelia's(?!?), saved up 3 AP, and went to The Anthony Building. Then a very kind & compassionate Buddhist Dr. Asoka Wu[2] healed me all up. Thanks, BIG thanks to the both of you. Will continue making rounds in the surrounding area, get stocked up and probably keep moving north. March 22, 2008 Got tired of getting killed at Santlerville Cemetery, moved 1W to St. Emelia's Church (Santlerville). So, as soon as I can, I'm getting out of this un-welcoming & ill-mannered suburb, zombie or not! Doubtless, there are some good people here, but they seem to be overrun by idiots, not zombies. I thought going north out of Penny Heights, I could find some help and return the favor by helping them rebuild their suburb. Apparently not in Santlerville.

March 21, 2008 Well, I made it to The Pace Monument in Santlerville, waiting for a revive only to be capped twice!!

March 19, 2008 Well, I'm dead...bought the farm in Houldenbank, running from Zeds.Barens is overrun. I'm at Elford Lane in Houldenbank, I need a revive, thanks, folks... March 19, 2008 NTRothwell is in Zed hands now, barely got out of there, was infected. Moved north into Houldenbank, Barens Row Railway Station if you need a cure; will rest and move farther north tomorrow.

March 18, 2008 Escaped from Lumber Mall, made it to NT offices, The Rothwell Building...we are under attack. It is a small force of zeds, seems the rest of the horde is down at the malls Joachim Mall & Lumber Mall. I still have 15 FAKs on me...--Dr Mycroft Chris 12:59, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

March 16, 2008 Residing in Cracknell Towers (EHB), doing nearby house calls. Must admit I don't like the name...

March 11, 2008 Staying the night just 1north of Lumber Mall in the Shalle Building--Dr Mycroft Chris 07:09, 11 March 2008 (UTC)
