East Grayside is a suburb of Malton, located in the south of the city. At the time, it was one of, if not the most populated suburbs in Malton. This is one reason why there are so many hospitals and police stations in the area. But this suburb had always been filled with people of the middle-class, and it was very friendly. Crime was extremly low. But because it was so populated, almost everyone in the suburb was killed during the outbreak. Now this suburb is nothing compared to what it was before. Survivors usually just pass by and never stay. It just shows how much damage the outbreak through out Malton.

[edit] Barricade Plan

--Note to Survivors-- East Grayside has been experience a problem with survivors over barricading buildings. This will make it difficult for most survivors to get indoors. Please do not over barricade buildings, and help break barricades down to their proper level.

The Special Tactics and Rescue Squad Has finally update their barricade plan from a year ago. As following with the new school of keeping most buildings @ vsb+2, here is a copy of the current(as of 09/26/07) barricade plan: http://i155.photobucket.com/albums/s311/chiron_isoley/Barricadeplan.jpg. Only the buildings with a red border should be EHB. All other buildings in EG should be vsb+2. The members of the Special Tactics and Rescue Squad will be going through the burb and adjusting all barricades according to this plan. If anyone has a suggestion to on modifications to this plan, please visit our forum @ [1] and private message Greg Melayne. Thank you.

July 1 2008 25.96 MHz: "... crossing East Grayside now, can see maybe a dozen down there ... all stragglers, no groups ... a lot of buildings with lights on ... infrastructure looks intact ... power's on at the Angerstein Building ..." Laitaine 00:50, 2 July 2008 (BST)

[edit] June 2008

June 4 2008 EG looks pretty safe, no larger groups of zeds around, except for a ten zed crowd in front of Witchell PD.--James Madley 12:28, 3 June 2008 (BST)

[edit] May 2008

May 28 2008 Guys, please make sure you dont overbarricade the buildings. Keep all buildings at VSB+2. All resource point at EHB. .--Hakimaru--

May 12 2008 All is calm at East Grayside's S.W. corner as the highly dangerous Ridleybank Resistance Front has moved on. Still several zeds nearby at the surrounding buildings. All of the S.W. buildings have been ruined and are under zombie control. Screw this crap, I am going to find a revive point and find a new HQ. I'll update this as soon as I can.--Chris Alloy--5:06 PM E/T.

May 3rd The RRF has taken control of the entire South Western part of East Grayside as Sixtus General Hospital falls. "It is now considered suicide to enter the S.W. part of E.G. without an army armed to the bone with weapons and at least over 500 Nechros to search even one block. The RRF has surprised me and the people at Sixtus. Those brave people fought well. My hat off to you guys"- an police officer, who didn't want his name to be posted for fear of being PKed, who shortly after died from an zombie ambush.--Chris Alloy-- 6:05 PM E/T.

May 2nd

The Dead have brought down the Angerstein building, many bra!nz were had.--Jones Joneson 00:03, 3 May 2008 (BST)

[edit] April 2008

April 24th Zombies prevalent in the southwest section. Some buildings formerly at EHB have been torn down and overrun, however many are still being maintained at EHB. Jessabellum 18:51, April 24th PST

April 21st A quick scout of the suburb shows most buildings EHB and a handful VSB. Hardly any zombies in the suburb, so that's certainly a good sign. The Cop 2:35, April 21st GMT

Revive point South of the Darnell building making good time, only 3 zeds currently waiting, No zombie's? Could be the calm before the storm.--The Hound Mac 14:02, 21 April 2008 (BST)

April 18th

Been around the sub urb and noticed that almost all buildings are heavily, or EH barricaded. People need to bring the barricades down so that some people can get in. To get a safe house, I had to freerun in from a neighbouring sub urb. Suggest at least one building near every resource building go down to VSB. Zaiphyr 11:54, April 18th GMT

April 13th St. Odile fell early yesterday, but went up reported. At least 10 were caught sleeping. A few places are reopening though, so maybe the zombies have passed..? -- BlackReaper 21:14, 13 April 2008 (BST)

'April 10th' Adalbert General Hospital has fallen--Lowerlowerhk 06:19, 10 April 2008 (BST)

April 7th Nearly all buildings EHB in a safe neighborhood. Newbie hell.

April 5th Much safer. Zeds are still active, but much less in numbers. Nearly all resource buildings are barricaded and occupied, Sixtus, Angerstein, Cousin, St. Odile's and St. Hilda's are powered. Danger level is orange but should really be yellow --- Jonny Happening 04:13, 5 April 2008 (GMT)

Its over flee!! Weve lost this district

[edit] March 2008

March 14th The suburb is crawling with zombies. Many buildings (if not all) are ruined. --AJT 06:01, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

March 13th Zeds have been dragging out survivors from Meeker Plaza School all night. The nearby fire and police stations have been attacked as well.--FLZombie 14:00, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

March 12th Binning Way PD has been overrun and is ruined. The zombies are moving east at a steady rate in small (15-25) groups. --Irioth 00:59, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

March 12th It looks like the entire south side is about to fall. Tutchen Walk Police Dept is suffering numerous break ins. Perhaps an upgrade to Very Dangerous? --Varelse 01:59, 12 March 2008 (UTC) -- Upgraded to Very Dangerous after scouting with an alt and seeing most buildings ruined and over 100 zeds in the SW corner. --Varelse 05:14, 12 March 2008 (UTC)

March 11th The fall of the entire west side of this suburb rates an upgrade to Dangerous. The 3 resource buildings at the southwest corner have all fallen. --Kingofallpie 20:11, 11 March 2008 (UTC)

3-10-08 hey all lots of zeds around. stay alert keep the cades up. and i need a revive im at the prigg alley so plz help me

March 8th St Odile's Hospital is ransacked with 15 zeds inside and 13 in the surrounding area.Scott Timewell 20:20, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] February 2008

February 26th Looks like zombies are trickling down from Wray Heights, can only see the NE area, lots of break-ins near St. Odile's, could get worse over time.

February 22nd The barricade plan is being compromised by survivors. Many buildings that are supposed to be VSB are now Heavily to EHB. These include many buildings in the south. This leads to a large dead zone for survivors looking for safety. Please help maintain the barricade policy and revert those in violation. --Dov Ecluts 01:16, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

February 10th Saw around 10-15 zombies. Not much going on around here. everything seems intact and going smoothly. Keeping danger level at safe. --ChiaPet 23:54, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

February 3rd External Military:"... crossing East Grayside now, can see twenty or so down there ... all stragglers, no groups ... power's on across most of the area ... infrastructure looks intact too ... power's back on at the Angerstein Building ..." Laundry hamper 10:57, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
