The Question

Are you tired of stalking through Malton, only to see throngs of men wherever you go? Whatever happened to the near even ratio of men to women in the rest of the world? It's time to bring more women into Malton, and have fun doing it.

Who are Cybele's Shamblers?

Cybele's Shamblers are a group of women zombies who are loosely organized and dedicated to advancing the presence of women in Malton by eating as many bra!nz as possible. Our Sisters are more apt to help the masses, and our Slayers are more apt to blasting holes in survivors, but don't get us confused with them. We absolutely do not support any form of cheating, such as cross-character information leaking or zerging.
Please note that we are not out to kill only men, and we don't particularly have any sort of grudge against males. We're just a group of women who have a craving for brains.

How Does Eating People Advance Women?

While it might seem counter-intuitive that our agenda consists of the usual zombie activities coupled with a desire to promote women in Malton, these goals are not completely separate. Besides the minor impact of a male survivor seeing that he died by the jaws and claws of a woman, a zombie horde inevitably brings attention and publicity to itself as it trashes suburbs and the such, which in this case will also bring attention to the strange under-representation of women in Malton. In other words, the death and destruction brought about by Cybele's Shamblers will hopefully bring awareness to our concerns.

Who is Cybele?

Cybele is known to be the original "mother of the Earth," as seen in early Pagan religions. This does not, however, imply that we are a religious group. In fact, the leader of Cybele's Children, Torec, is an atheist. The name is simply a tribute to the power that women once held in the public eye.

Where Is This Group Based?

The Shamblers are a mobile group, and so our location is based on the whims of our members and community discussion of targets. Currently, we are in the suburb of Dulston.

So What do I Need to do to Join?

Drop by our forums and read the instructions for applying. Your character must be dedicated to spreading chaos as a zombie. You must also be a female.

Do I (The Player) Need to be a Woman to Join?

Not at all. However, your CHARACTER must be female.

Policy on PKing

The Shamblers have a firm policy against PKing when revived; the only conceivable exceptions are when they themselves are PKed once revived. However, if combat revived, we may take retaliatory action by destroying generators, radios and barricades.

Please do not make the mistake of assuming that killing us while alive will be met with indifference. Not only will the Shambler in question be free to retaliate, but you may face the wrath of the entire horde. You have been warned.

Cybele's Shamblers are on tour! After participating in the destruction of Dulston, we decided to take our little horde on tour and are currently participating in the Second Big Bash. We invite all zambahs (female and male alike) to join us for the fun!
