Description
Gelasius General Hospital is the only Hospital in the suburb of Vinetown.
Its empty wards are criss-crossed with snapped quarantine tape.
History
Gelasius General, known locally as Glassy or the Gel, was an underfunded hospital. Working in such a deprived area meant that life expectancies were low and violence high. Its waiting rooms were crowded and Doctors had to fight a daily battle to keep Vinetown healthy.
Since the outbreak little has changed. The hospital is a haven for all survivors from the streets outside.
Since 18th July 2007 the hospital has been under the stewardship of the M.E.R.C.Y. organisation, helping out those who are new to the streets of Malton.
The Spanish Inquisition has been assisting survivors here since late 2008.
On January 29th, 2008, members of Drama Club performed "Army of Darkness" at Gelasius General Hospital by special request of RosslessnessWant a Location Image? as a thank you from their group, the Outbreak Control Unit, to the other groups at that location. The troupe performed for the 17 survivors present at the time. Bootlegs of the performance can be found at the Drama Club page.
Barricade Policy
Up to VSB+2.
If fewer than three zombies are standing outside, keep the barricades at Very Strongly Barricaded, to allow access for injured survivors. If more than three standing zombies are outside, raise the barricades to EHB.
