Hossam Crescent

Description

History

This street was once owned by a Malaysian royalty, who had so much money he originally intended to rename the ugly street name (It was called Streepteese Road previously) to Lorong Chantik (Beautiful Street). However, the locals protested because the local speak, Houldenslak, included the word "chantik" which, ironically, also meant "strip tease".

Frustrated, the royalty decided to name the road after himself, hence the name "Hossam Crescent". Rumor has it, he still lives here and is still in relative comfort compared to the rest of Malton, but unless his house was build underground, it is clearly unlikely that anybody would be living in, or under, a street like this.
