Another senseless murder. Another nihilist with a fire axe. It's get hard to spot them, to know who to trust and who to avoid. This one was a nice guy, soft spoken and attentive. He helped me fix the barricades this morning, and spent all night keeping morale up with his stories. And then - another repainting the walls, red and grey. Before I knew it, the barricades were down again. No doubt he'd rigged it to crumple with a touch. And the indifference, the sheer apathy, of everyone else is shocking. No help, no furore, just silence and stony looks. A man was murdered, and we very nearly all bought it in our sleep before I was able to fix the defenses. I don't know who to trust any more. I just don't know who to trust.
