Suggestion20070726 Artery Bite

Chill 20:47, 25 July 2007 (BST)

Suggestion type
New Skill

Suggestion scope
Zombies

Suggestion description
When a zombie attacks someone with their teeth, there should be a 1/10 chance that the attack will hit a major artery and the target should start to bleed to death. It would happen like this... "someone"bite you for X damage. The zombies teeth punctured an artery in your neck. You are bleeding to death.Every action will now taken will bring you down by 5 hp,INCLUDING speaking{as it is hard and painful to do if your neck has been teared to shreds}would be a subskill of either Infectious Bite or Brain Rot(to encourage zombie players)This may or may not stack with infectious bite. Please tell me in your reviews if it should or not.

Can only be stopped by a person who has the Surgery skill and if you are in a hospital and it would look like this"someone"healed you for 15 hp.They suture your ruptured artery.I think this can really stop the zombie shortage in Malton and make them a REAL force to be reckoned with. After 'arm pointed out a good point,I have rethought it.

It now requires you to have Brain Rot,be level 15 or 20,requires at least 150 XP,and it doesn't stack with infectious bite. Now I think it's fair enough because zombies are underpowered and need new and powerful skills.Chill 21:47, 26 July 2007 (BST)

Keep Votes

  1. keep - make the page more organised, but it sounds like a good idea. =Doc Crook 21:55, 26 July 2007 (BST)
RE:Thanks, and I'll try to add some more to it. Chill 21:57, 26 July 2007 (BST)
  2. Author Vote-Because i'm allowed to vote on my own damn suggestions!Chill 22:12, 26 July 2007 (BST)
  3. Change If you lower the damage to, say, 2 or 3 to diversify it from infectious bite, I'll take it. It'd make hospitals alot more important. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by CORN! (talkcontribs) at an unknown time.

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam - Completely overpowered. This acts like an overpowered infection, but with no extra skill required to buy! 'arm. 22:15, 26 July 2007 (BST)
Excuse me but it is a new skill(please see suggestion type)I just didn't label specifics on it's cost or stuff or required levels.I'll add that in right now.Chill 22:23, 26 July 2007 (BST)
Sorry, I don't like reading spam suggestions such as your which are poorly written. And I told you how to properly reply to votes on your talk page, please go read it. 'arm. 22:37, 26 July 2007 (BST)
  2. Spam - Hugely, immensely, horribly, ridiculously overpowered. 5 HP per move and only surgery can heal it? Still, made me think about 'Arm's Necrotic Bite again and decide that if it weren't already certain to get to Peer Review I would go back and vote Keep on it. --The Hierophant 22:35, 26 July 2007 (BST)
  3. Spam - I think one of the guggestion guidelines is "rare != balanced". If you need to put all those limits on it (which still won't stop every zombie with brain rot from buying it they day they see the update) then its pretty clearly just a bade idea. It might as well just be an instant kill- and that's not balanced even if it costs 1000xp. . . . swiers BigEYEwitnessLOGO.png 22:44, 26 July 2007 (BST)
  4. Spam - still a megainfection --Duke GarlandTLCD SSZ 23:00, 26 July 2007 (BST)
RE:Have you seen the zombie to survivor ratio? It's appalling. This will make people become zombies and make it more challenging. Will incite territorial rages again. Will strengthen.Chill 23:15, 26 July 2007 (BST)
  5. Spam - as above. There have been far better bite boosts. Seriously: TAKE YOUR WORK TO THE TALK PAGES! It'll help you not get spammed out of existence next time. --Vault 00:01, 27 July 2007 (BST)
  6. Nah Nah - Save the one hit kills for survivors who want to win. You play a zombie to try to have fun, not kill all humans(cause zombies never will).--Karekmaps?! 00:04, 27 July 2007 (BST)
  7. Spam - No.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 01:24, 27 July 2007 (BST)
