Suggestion type

Improvement

Suggestion scope

Survivors with skill in healing, And use FAKs

Suggestion description

I usually heal to get XP, But a few times, I found a person with low HP, And using first aid, I was able to heal the person, By using less FAKs. But stay with me, less FAKs = Less XP, And I didn't care how many I was going to use. So If I didn't have first aid, I would come out of that with more XP them with First Aid.

My suggestion is, That when you have a FAK It would say USE FIRST AID KIT ON [Player drop down names] WITH [Drop down list of No skill; First Aid; Sugery].

So that you could choose How much you wanted to heal with one FAK, and Get as much XP as you wanted.

Kill Votes

  1. Kill - like a rot for zombies, this is a "no way back" skill. if you didn't want to lose on xp flow - you shouldn't have buy it. --~~~~ [talk] 20:22, 16 September 2007 (BST)
  2. Change -instead, make it so you earn more XP for additional med skills (probably 1 XP per HP healed).--AlexanderRM 22:30, 16 September 2007 (BST)
  3. kill - your thinking about healing all wrong, the benifit from healing is not supose to be xp, it's the fact that you putting another combat ready survivor out there campared to a zombie at a revive point.--John Basil 03:58, 17 September 2007 (BST)
  4. kill - nope. either you wanna maximise your XP gain, or you wanna maximise healing and AP efficacy. that's the way the game was designed, and on purpose. --WanYao 04:25, 17 September 2007 (BST)
    RE Tried that.
  5. I think this is better.--Pesatyel 06:11, 17 September 2007 (BST)
  6. Kill for all the reasons listed above and below. Sorry, just a bad idea.--the one, the only, sushiknight (talk contribs HARD E.N.D.) 06:15, 17 September 2007 (BST)
  7. Kill - What kind of a doctor would heal people less than they need to be healed? --Pgunn 06:59, 17 September 2007 (BST)
  8. Kill - There's really no point of adding this to UD. --Sonofagun18 09:26, 17 September 2007 (BST)
  9. Kill - XP, meh. You're meant to be healing for healings sake. Injured survivors arn't there to be farmed. Don't like that, don't buy the skill The preceding signed comment was added by boxy (talkcontribs) at 10:18 17 September 2007 (BST)
  10. Kill - as Boxy. Selfish play is what holds survivors back. --Pavluk A! E! 13:42, 17 September 2007 (BST)
  11. Kill - No need for this modification. Plenty of other ways to earn XP. --Shazzelim 17:01, 17 September 2007 (BST)
  12. Kill- Sheesh. Just don't get First Aid or Surgery. Problem solved! --Vkkhamul 03:10, 27 September 2007 (BST)
  13. Kill- Just kill it! It doesn't make sense! --Reflow 23:23, 28 September 2007 (BST)

Spam/Dupe Votes

  1. Spam Nonsensical. Please move this to talkpage and get some feedback on how to create a working suggestion.--Seventythree 19:45, 16 September 2007 (BST)
RE Learn how to read them first.
RE - O.k. Sorry to sound rude, but this makes little sense to me. I had to read through it twice to realise that the gmae mechanic would mean you are deliberately not using your healing skills to gain more XP. This rather goes againgst the whole Idea of the medical skills. That's why I don't like it. I do suggest that you reformat it to make it a little easier to understand, but, meh, I'm quite tired so it could be my fault I guess!--Seventythree 19:57, 16 September 2007 (BST)
  2. SPAM two words.... PLAIN Retarded --Johnny Reb 20:19, 16 September 2007 (BST)
  3. Spam - Useless, and you didn't put the entire thing in the proper format. You forgot to include the Nav template.-- dǝǝɥs ɯɐds: sʎɐʍ1ɐ! 20:25, 16 September 2007 (BST)
  4. Spam - Brain Rot is FAAAAAR worse, yet we're not offering zombies a chance to undo it, are we? Brain rot reversal = Spam, First aid reversal = Spam. Gah, edit conflicts... --Wooty 20:43, 16 September 2007 (BST)
  5. Spam - Hell, what a piece of utter stupidity. What would be point of first aid then?--Finis Valorum 20:42, 16 September 2007 (BST)
  6. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wZ7YedEopp4 - Really bad suggestion and really badly worded. If you want to waste FAKs for exp, find a willing voluteer who you can stab and heal.Studoku 22:55, 16 September 2007 (BST)
  7. SPAM - STILL BAD, STILL CAPS!--  AHLGTG THE END IS NIGH! 23:45, 16 September 2007 (BST)
  8. Spam - You shouldn't have taken the skill, if you didn't want the penalty. I bought all the other skills before taking first aid and surgery. --Steakfish 01:19, 17 September 2007 (BST)
  9. Spam - I believe this qualifies.--Vow 04:05, 17 September 2007 (BST)
Nope - Terrible solution to real problem. I say you should get more XP for more healing, like 8 instead of 5. Unsigned -- boxytalk • 03:26 27 September 2007 (BST)
  10. Spiced Ham -- The wording makes my head hurt, and... Well... This sugestion isn't an effective means of making the XP gain from FAK's More "Balanced", if you wanted more XP and lower AP efficency, then don't buy those skills first... --Lord Evans 05:16, 18 September 2007 (BST)
  11. Spam - Once you have a skill you can not not use that skill. See every free running suggestion ever, or every brain rot suggestion ever. Hell, even this has come up before.--Karekmaps?! 13:12, 18 September 2007 (BST)
