Tagging/Graffiti Re-vamp

Type:	Just some ideas I had and a bit of a pulling-together of other graffiti suggestions.
Scope:	Tagging.
Description:	When the graffiti tab is selected, it now opens up three new drop-boxes that allow some users to select what they want their graffiti to represent. Buying the tagging skill opens up some further stylistic options These are Graffifi Type A crude picture depicting A heavily stylistic picture depicting(Tagging Reqd) A realistic picture representing(TR) Writing (default Writing style In crude capital letters (default) In a heavily stylised style (TR) In heavy gothic capitals (TR) In an intracate fine script (TR) Colours (this only applies to writing, and shows up onscreen in the stated colour) White(default) Black(TR) Red(TR) Purple(TR) Orange(TR)

Could finaly actually text draw some pretty pictures on the wall so im all for it, and would make it vary a bit more instead of being mostly generic.--Zach016 16:04, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

"When the graffiti tab is selected, it now opens up three new drop-boxes..." What do you mean with this? Is it that when you click in the text box, it just suddenly spurts three dropdown-lists next to it? No thank you. Other issues:

• Why is it heavily stylistic/stylised? I think plain stylistic/stylised would do.
• Why gothic capitals? Why not just gothic letters?
• Typo: realsitic.

im guessing that the graffiti chances to a button that you click first (think cell phone), or it gets a dropbox like FAk's and syringes.--Zach016 18:20, 4 December 2007 (UTC)

• The new drop-boxes appear to the side of the window you enter the text in. If you chose not to enter them then it just turns out on default, identical to what it appears now.
• Gothic lettering? Ok, fair enough
• Feel free to correct any typo of mine you see. Spelling has never been a strong point of mine. Not sure why.

seeing as how you can't link suggestions i woulden't take it out. Better if it goes in with this then on its own and because of the rest is still different. (now you have colored gothic lettering, not just colored lettering. Not the same)--Zach016 00:02, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

I know the colour thing is a dupe, but the fact that I have taken a couple of ideas, expanded upon them and added the special tagging bonuses for those with the tagging skill. I will go through peer reveiwed and credit whoever made the coloured graffiti suggestion, and of coures, as always you lot for helping me work it all out.--Seventythree^Talk 07:43, 5 December 2007 (UTC)

I would like to state that I liked your suggestion, but find some of the votes making sense. I would like to propose an idea for a resubmission.

Graffifi Type

• A crude picture depicting
• A heavily stylistic picture depicting(Tagging Reqd)
• A realistic picture representing(TR)
• Writing (default): Should add no text to the displayed message.

Writing style

• In crude capital letters (default): Again, it should display no additional message
• In a heavily stylised style (TR)
• In heavy gothic lettering (TR)
• In an intracate fine script (TR)

Colours

(this only applies to writing, and shows up onscreen in the stated colour)

• White(default): Default should not add extra words.
• Black(TR)
• Red(TR)
• Purple(TR)
• Orange(TR)

This is merely a point of taste, but I think mabye more colors such as Yellow, Green, and Blue.

It is also possible to avoid dupe votes by either

1. Not linking the PR suggestion. People will still assume its a dupe based on the colors.
2. Dropping the whole color thing. Without the color in your suggestion, its not a dupe.

I perfer the first one as the color is a nice flavour touch.
