August 21, 2010 Gom is back inside the Membery and we have the Drunks, the Playboys and the Zeally crew here. Let the party begin. Gomorrah was delighted that the number of HAMZ was H!GH!
August 20, 2010 Having led a delegation of hard drinking axe wielding allies from the Zeally Arms in Shore Hills back to the Membery to re-take it, I have found the local vicar and Shaved Cat already at the Membery, peacefully pulling pints from the taps. Well, let's not waste the hard effort and adrenaline, let's put it to use in drinking! Thanks once again to the Zeally crew led by Fightin' Mick! Now as soon as we get the 'burb cleaned up a bit and Gom back inside we can get back into the swing of things. --BrenGun1971 aka Reid Fleming!
I like the way you're keeping up the business in my old tavern though you should really start serving brains with chips again. It was very popular back in my day and could bring quite a crowd to the establishment. I have been extra dead for almost two years now but I'll be back for a snack soon I think. While our numbers may have been whittled, the Membery is in good shape. With the aid of the Craske IPB our numbers are bolstered. The cold weather also means Goms not kicking up to much of a stink if placed next to the drafty cades. We even have a full stock of G!Ns, Ales and other assorted booze. PUH-LEAZE! NO killing in the Membery!
We've had a recent spate of killings in the Membery Arms and this is not the standard, zombies break in, kill patrons, destroy the generator, ruin the building, players get revived and kill zombies, re-barricade, repair the generator, search for fuel, mop the floors and then FINALLY get back to our business of drinking peaceably routine. We've had A) players who do NOT read the PLAINLY stated graffiti about NOT killing our zombie drinking buddy (Gomorrah, ID=201346) and then proceed to kill Gom stating 'suck it, zombie!' or some other witticism and/or B) Bounty hunters or PK'ers who come in and kill a patron of the Arms stating that 'they deserved it, they were on such and such and so and so a list and departing with a 'I'm watching you because I know what I know!' Ok, I hate PK'ers, but no more killing in the Membery Arms, justified or not. You have a beef with a patron (and more often than not, the patrons and victims have been our long time friends who are NOT PK'ers), then take it outside like adults. I'm sick and tired of getting the mop out and cleaning up the blood and gore. This last time, a random bounty hunter came along and killed a new contact of ours that we were enjoying a drink with and Rich had to get the mop and bucket out. Cut the shit, all I want to do is drink and you're getting in the way of my raison d'etre-
DRINKING! NOT CLEANING UP BLOOD!
You come in and kill and you immediately go on my TO BE KILLED list in red in my contacts, so I do NOT forget you!
