General Comments

For organizational ease, please post new comments at the top, above all previous replies. In this way survivors will be able to recognize newer posts more easily. Thank you for your support of the mall, you are all valuable customers.

  • Can someone update the Zed count in the mall? If you are in the position to. I am running low on supplies and need a stock up. --Jag 03:12, 5 October 2013 (BST)
  • As of February 25, 2013, the southeastern part of the mall is occupied by zombies. All the other entrances are barricaded. --LianineRocks
  • A recent poll of 100 survivors in the mall yielded that 63% are lvl 20 or above, 85% have Body Building, 78% have Head Shot, and only 11% are below lvl 10. --ThunderJoe 17:39, 29 May 2006 (BST)
  • Occasional zombie break-ins on a nearly daily basis; only small groups of zombies were able to enter. Despite this, things are still in control. --[[User:halomarine34 21:36, 15 Jan 2006 (GMT)
  • The mall was invaded today, with zombies trying to ruin the after-Christmas Sales. About 10+ zombies entered and then were quickly shown the door by security. Barricades rebuilt with 50 bodies outside the southwest corner. --Unknown 04:00, 11 Jan 2006 (GMT)
  • Aftermath info on Treweeke Mall? At the moment things seem quiet. The number of survivors inside the mall seems to have dropped slightly following the news of the fall of Nichols Mall. Morale is down. --Andrew Baxter 14:02, 5 Jan 2006 (GMT)
  • It's a discussion. Post whatever you want to so that ALL eyes can see it, even the dead. --ThunderJoe 01:15, 14 Nov 2005 (GMT)
  • This mall is going to go down faster than yo momma on Saturday night. Forget defensive plans, forget trying to keep the barricades up, just GET THE HELL OUT. Slicer 03:38, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
Well I say hold, hold out for as long as you can! Or at least hold out longer than Dowdney Mall! I think we owe it, not just to the rest of Malton's mall survivors, but to ourselves as citizens of Dulston. So don't cut and run... fight! Then when it all really goes to hell, fall back to the nearest NT building that is still standing and hold that. I'm a realist people; so stay positive, but don't actually try to walk on water. --Caleb Usher 27 February 2007, 7:52 AM (EST)

Defensive Strategy for Treweeke Mall

I believe the best defense for Treweeke Mall, given number of personnel available, is stock piling Revivification Syringes for use on casualties, and careful screening of revivification candidates, to ensure syringes are not wasted on death cultists, brain rotters, or those who are prone to suicide.

Also there has been issues with a PKer group known as the Hellborn attacking the infrastructure of the defending groups, like the D.D.D.S. and the Sons of Treweeke. This has several of them reported as Serial PKer on the D.D.D.S. DEATH List. A large number of the horde attacking Treweeke Mall are members of the Drunken Dead, who also have a large number of members on the DEATH LIST. Having their profile allows them to be individually targeted and recognized so they are not wastefully revived.

I strongly discourage the use of "Combat Revives" as death cultists can commit suicide far more efficiently than it is to gather the syringes used on them. Also it's a syringe that could have been used to add a productive member to our side's defensive capabilities.

If the horde ever reaches a threatening size (>60) the mall should be evacuated and re-barricaded by survivors using Free Running. Until such time the population of the mall should be evenly dispersed in the mall so that no corner is weaker than another. I believe only survivors with Headshot should take the time to collect ammo and that ALL NecroTech-employed survivors are best off collecting syringes. Everyone else should be collecting FAKs or barricading.

Rhodenbank has many NecroTech buildings and it would be greatly beneficial to the defense of Treweeke Mall if our reviver population were to spread out so that no single NecroTech building contains the wealth of our survivor reviving capabilities. I am just one guy, but I think these ideas would make Treweeke Mall a tough nut to crack. --Matthew Stewart 23:59, 15 Jan 2006 (GMT)

  • At least what you propose is an organized plan; my only concern is that it would be very difficult to fully organize a significant number of the survivors to fully implement your plan... --halomarine34
I think we should give it a try, we have nothing to lose --Brom Armostrong 17:41, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

My edit on latest news

Apologies to whoever made the first post for 9/1/06, but to me, it seemed less neutral than a history area should be. I reworked it to be more NPOV than previously. No hard feelings, I hope.--Blue Command Vic 07:26, 2 September 2006 (BST)

please help there are men is sw coner trying to fight them off!--Dogspit2 02:30, 15 September 2007 (BST)
