The Blacker Building
Description
History
Originally built in 1987 The Blacker Building was one of the first buildings in Malton to be considered earthquake proof. At one time it was considered a place of business to over 1000 office workers. Steel stairways were easily removed from the bottom floors which is why it was used as a strong hold in the early days of the outbreak. The building would ironically live up to it's name when an infected office worker turned in the middle of the night and knocked over a kerosene lantern, sparking a blaze that could not be contained. Survivors of the fire held out on the rooftop for 2 weeks only to be overcome by the horde of zombies growing inside the building.
