The Goodridge Building (West Boundwood)
Description
Fire Inspector's Notes: Overall a structurally stable former office building. Meets most of NFPA 1 fire safety building standards (with minor execptions in the basement). Heavy fire damage on floors four and five caused by what appears to be intentional burning of documents in a trashcan. Fire spread quickly, but was probably put out by a combination of the sprinkler systems and the efforts of Eddie from the Lowther Lane Fire Station.
Upon inspection of the basement I found multiple small code violations regarding electrical wires and their brittle cable trays which were insecurely bolted to the concrete walls. Also, much to this inspector's dismay, the former janitor still resided in his basement office. The shambling feral made my work all the more difficult.
