The Redemption of the Kilt

The following is a true story, widely disseminated by staff and customers of The Kilt Store as evidence of the profound importance of kilts to the survivors of Malton.

It is widely known that the Ridleybank Resistance Front is an organization of zombies and murderous survivors who have terrorized the good citizens of Malton for years. Perhaps most feared among them are the notorious "Gore Corps", consisting of survivors dedicated to killing their fellow survivors to further the aims of the zombie horde. The leader of the Gore Corps was Goolina, terror of Malton.

On a fateful day in late 2007 Goolina had stopped in at Nichols Mall in Stanbury Village to resupply. Finding The Kilt Store in the SW corner of the mall, she made a spontaneous purchase of a new kilt that would change her destiny and, some say, the destiny of all survivors. Her original comment on her new purchase is still posted on the testimonials section of The Kilt Store.

What happened thereafter is the topic of much speculation. Some say that the loose-fitting kilt freed her neither regions from the pinching and cramping of pants that had previously soiled her general disposition to a murderous state. Others proclaim that the profound dedication of the professional staff of The Kilt Store restored her appreciation of human strength and virtue. The more spiritual survivors claim that the "Spirit of the Kilt" slowly seeped from her tartan into her soul, gifting her with divine insight on the true meaning of life. Whatever the cause, early in 2008 she renounced her former ways and dedicated herself to the Way of the Kilt, joining the professional staff of The Kilt Store, where she was immediately embraced as one of their own.

The rest, as they say, is history.
