Current status Safe because of these guidelines: The mall is barricaded with less than twenty zombies throughout the structure. EMRP says only 12 are outside the mall, therefore it's considered safe. →Son of Sin← 20:47, 31 October 2011 (UTC)

Some schmuck decided it would be a good idea to broadcast to the world that Tomson Mall was rebuilt and ready for business. Within a day hundreds of zeds (many of whom had died with a radio on them) came to the mall and completely destroyed it. Kent Camp 15:05, 8 June 2011 (BST)

2010

Tompson Mall is EHB on all sides. No zeds nearby, but danger zones seem to be moving in a circle around Malton and will probably hit Lockettside soon. Good place to rest for now, as long as you have freerunning. Very high amount of survivors inside, at least 20 on each block. Trying to bring at least one side down to VSB+2 to allow anyone to get in. Anyone available can please help with this. --Dr Jeykll 21:21, 8 November 2010

August 29, 2010. NW corner is ruined, around 40 zombies outside, only a few inside as of this writing. 10:51, 29 August 2010 (PST)

August 19, 2010. Thompson Mall is back up and running. All corners lit and EHB. Very few zombies outside, though there were some break-ins at St Alexander's Hospital. All cleared out and back up though. There is some line-up at nearby revivification points. --Douchette 08:09, 19 August 2010 (BST)

The 2010 Zapar

During the first months of the year; Tompson Mall was attacked continuously by a group of non-organized feral zombies that had detached from the Mall Tour hoard. Tompson Mall was breached, ransacked and destroyed every forty-eight hours. There was an abundance in Player Killers that seemed to make things only more difficult from what they where. A recorded history of the event below.

  • January,13,2010: Zombies begin to enter Lockettside, camping at nearby buildings as if fixating on the giant structure that is Tompson Mall. External Military Reports suggested a hoard of 200+ Zombies were en-route to Tompson Mall. Moral was high; survivors were encouraged to stay and fight off the attack.


  • January,14,2010: Popular Military frequency's are filled with panic about the horrific hoard. Zombies arrive on Tompson Mall's doorstep and begin tearing at the barricades on the South-West-Corner. Survivors were strongly advised to gather their belongings and vacate Lockettside, or stay here and help us fight the zombies! So few left. Many more fought.


  • January,15,2010 : Player-Killers begin planning and executing strategical counter moves towards the survivors, killing Survivors and destroying Generators. Survivors fill the emergency & local frequency's with requests for assistance, notifications and warnings to relocate. Zombies begin their isolated attack on Tikhon General Hospital, a strategic area for survivors considering its rather abundant supply of medical equipment. Cheeke (NT) Building had 11- 15 zombies tearing at the cades, but the building was holding strong. Revive Points are rendered useless due to the high amount of rotters. (20+)


  • January,16,2010 Military reports littered the radio. Tompson mall was struggling for their lives on the on-going battle of Tompson mall. The survivors inside depending on the lights to stay on just long enough to find weapons and fight back against the zombies. At approximately 5:00PM(GMT) Zombies broke through the cade and poured in. Survivors were informed to evacuate to safer buildings. The Cheeke NT has been confirmed in zombie hands. Most radio contact begins to break and distance. Most transmitters taken out by the PK'ers. The survivors light of hope had faded away as Survivors grabbed what supplies they could carry and what they could and ran for a safehouse.


  • January,17,2010 Tompson mall evacuation procedures successfully executed. Survivors are now few and one in the mall; Many of them heading towards St. Alexander's Hospital, where the last stand shall be held. 7:00(GMT) Tompson mall completely falls. Zombies re-route to the hospital.


  • January,18,2010 St. Alexander's Hospital Falls to It's knees. The survivors are likely to have been eaten or lucky enough to evade the sharp teeth of the zombies. Every building in the area has collapsed. 'Abandon all hope' Was sprayed on the wall of the hospital. Radio contact has been completely lost.


  • June 5-6,2011 "There are reports that the Tompson mall is currently under attacked right now by zeds. It seems the SE corner is being attacked by about 10-14 zeds.


These are the events leading up to the zombie festival lastly allocated at the mall. This hoard took the mall by storm and left it gasping for air. However; Many feral zombies stayed after the tour once they arrived at Tompson mall and chose to stay. The same large group of zombies constantly kept the mall down for five months. It was here is when most groups learned of locketsides major security foundation inactivity. The mall has fallen many many times.. With assistance from the South West Alliance we were able to get the mall back to it's normal state. 16 Jan 10

The Mall defenders have lost the SE corner. But due to sheer amount of survivors vs. Zeds, the Zeds are getting picked off and thrown back out - slowly. Cades should be up in the next few days. Resistance so far is in favor of the Survivors.

  • Update: 10 Zeds in SW corner. Cades broke. Soon to be swept. 38 Zeds in total inside the Mall. 100+ Survivors, although a lot are moving while they can. Oo, some naked guy just jumped off the escalator into a group of Zeds. He is now dancing and running around. I think he had a bit much of Mead...
  • Update: some random horde showed up and brought a swift end in our sleep. Survivors had no time to react, the mall has fallen to PKers and Zeds.

15 Jan 10

The Mall defenders are stoked to spill some Zombie Harbranzars! Siege is coming, and this time, the Tompson Mall defenders are more than overjoyed to get some action. So are the Zeds. Siege should commence soon, join in the action. Anticipated to be a good resistance.

All 4 corners are EHB+, with Gennys running. In the NW corner there are 47 survivors. In the SW there are 55 survivors. In the NE corner there are 38 survivors. All 4 corners are HB, but not lit, Gens destroyed. Two zombies in the NE corner, which I have killed and dumped outside. Priority now is to restore power to the mall and barricade up to EHB+. First offensive made by zombies right now. They are using the mall's 27.20 frequency to send threats, and even were able to bring barricades down to VSB, but the mall mobilization force rapidly raised them back to EHB. a defence against mall tour 09 has begun with most people leaving for the defence of cheeke,also-the last of the thompson security force has finally left for the cheeke building after telling the mall and surrounding safehouses to evcuate out of the mall or completely out of the suburb(for those who wish to run)also,they have been asking the people surrounding the mall to(if they wish to fight)go to the cheeke building for there is 125 peeps there,and have also asked to spread the word to neigbouring safehouses

to sum it up,thompson mall has very little survivor numbers for a mall while there are hundreds in cheeke,this my friends-is where we make a stand.

Well, the horde finally reached Lockettside. The Cheeke Building to the West has been taken by the zeds, 10 inside by last count with sleeping survivors and the occasional human running through. The Beer Building, St. Irenaeus's, and Hinckesman Bank are still lit. The Mall itself still stands, untouched. No news on how many undead are standing around in the streets. It looks as though survivor efforts to reclaim the mall over night have succeeded. The mall stands with three squads repaired and caded to VSB and a ruined corner at VHB. Tompson has fallen again. It was mostly because of the unorganized survivors and not enough warning, or reinforcements that are there, as i was one of the now dead. we had no reinforcements and had ended as quickly as it began. expect counter attack sometime in the future.
