• Wow, such choices. Boxy seems keen on reform rather than retribution, and would rather defuse than light the fuse. I can't say the same of any other candidate, and especially not of hagnat, who seems to delight in playing the bad boy close to the edge. I don't want to live under a chaotic 'crat. Of the rest, they're either boundlessly aggressive (Karek, Grim s), too easily swayed (Gnome), too underhand (Conndraka), too inexperienced (Krazy Monkey, Swiers) or under my radar (Nubis, Mobius).   Specifically... I'm just going to air this... I'd vote for hagnat, but I've followed how he's handled the "SA invasion" on the wiki, and I'm not at all impressed. He went from a peurile flame war with them (including the earliy DARIS vs. D.A.R.I.S. stuff), to a bizarre kind obsequiousness. It's that, combined with the fact that I think boxy does a stand-up job (if it ain't broke, don't fix it) that I vote this way. WanYao 15:09, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

  My advice would be to judge for yourself, rather than be convinced by either Karek or me. (I assume Karek is referring to me in his usual, balanced way, in the comment above this one.) Of course, you may have already judged for yourself. It's easy: all one has to do is look over the contributions of both hagnat and boxy (and any other candidates) and see which one's you think are playing fair by the community (assuming a fair 'crat is what you want). I seek to sway nobody. I think everyone should decide for themselves. And, I think there's only one logical choice. --Funt Solo ^QT 16:59, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
