Revenant's Nit-picking/Corrections
Now, I know from talking to you that "i", "im", "Grims", etc. are your style, so I've refrained from pointing those out, and some of these are just minor nit-picky things which you're free to ignore. (Well, you're obviously free to ignore anything you want... ;)) I hope that most of these are helpful to you, however. I want to point out that I still think an edit or diff would've been faster and more wiki-like (and easier!), but yeah: your page, your rules, etc... Finally, I've used Commonwealth spellings wherever I can, because we need to fight the power! ;)
To avoid spamming up your guide's talk page, I've place my corrections/nit-picks here. Cheers! ᚱᛁᚹᛖᚾᚨᚾᛏ 16:58, 18 September 2007 (BST)
Improving the Wiki
Everyone would love you if you added a link to this in your guide. I'm pretty sure there's a good spot but cbf going back through the whole thing. Nice work btw, in future i'll be pointing noobs this way.--Jed 06:39, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
General comments and/or praise
good guide. rude, but a really useful one. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 14:41, 17 August 2007 (BST)

Murphy Law: Never say something is 'complete'. You will find out it ain't. --People's Commissar Hagnat [cloned] [mod] 20:57, 17 August 2007 (BST)
- thats exactly why i said it. To make the incompleteness reveal itself so it gets completed in place. --The Grimch Mod-U! 22:11, 17 August 2007 (BST)
No really, what ABOUT guns? Maybe I missed it, but I don't think there is any mention in your guide of how guns can help you survive. There's a lot about running away, a little about killing other survivors, and nothing about killing zombies. Which makes sense- much of the time, it is easier and safer to run away than to "cade, heal, dump, kill". But even in a small safe house with 3-4 survivors, that mantra can be applied, if there is only one or two zombies that break in. Swiers 19:50, 20 August 2007 (BST)
- Um, the whole guerilla warfare section is based on guns. The first section is pure survival, based on solo or paired play. The second part is an adaptation of the pure survival strategy into an effective combat form (Actually, in my experience, pretty much the most effective form of combat in the game for a survivor). It really needs to be taken as a whole. I didnt include the why using guns, because its quite simply silly to try and evict a couple of zombies from a building with an axe, or knife, or pipe or your fist. Im quite selective with which no brainers i include or dont include. The ones i did include were ones that i have seen forgotten time and time again by idiots. --The Grimch Mod-U! 20:07, 20 August 2007 (BST)
- Hmm, I see. I kinda skipped over that (maybe because its really quite obvious to me). Perhaps the guide should be split into two sections- "Evasion and Survival" and "Guerialla Fighting and Survival". Most people won't read a guide on how to run away (though they should) but they WILL read a guide on how to attack-and-fade. Swiers 17:40, 26 August 2007 (BST)
You know... Your online persona may be a textbook case of what Freudians would call "overcompensation" (but you're Australian, so it's perfectly understandable). Anyway... other than that, pretty spiffy guide. Though I'd call part one "How to be a Vulture Survivor"... ;) And I have a hunch that, ironically, the very people who most need to read it are the ones who never, ever will -- "OMG!! its soooooo logn my hed hirts!!" sigh...
Oh... and a mega-kudos to you for your comments on Extinction. I laughed my ass off at you calling 'em trenchzombies... yup... and zergers, who play it just close enough to the edge that it's not TECHNICALLY zerging... technically, no... pragmatically, yes... Extinction: yet another classic case of Australians' overcompensation complex?? hmnnnnnnnn.... ;P --WanYao 17:05, 21 August 2007 (BST)
An excellent guide, very well written and discuss many subjects that are ignored elsewhere. Also, I very much enjoyed your comments about Extinction. --Banana reads Scoundrell for all of Yesterday's News, Today! 02:05, 30 August 2007 (BST)
Great article, minus the idiot catcher cause I hit it twice without checking where the link led :( --Karekmaps?! 12:47, 2 September 2007 (BST)
That's a really great guide, and it reads really well. I've found other guides on this wiki can be very practical, but have a poor written style. That said, do you actually want your typos pointed out? I noticed a few that Revenant didn't. 'arm. 06:32, 24 September 2007 (BST)
Nice one! Highly enjoyable guide. Were there hidden subliminal messages in the text? I've been having these urges whenever I see a trenchcoat. Argh.....must.... not.... p.... k..... --MrTea 10:18, 3 May 2008 (BST)
While I go out of my way to avoid a lot of your tactics with my main survivor I will admit that they are pretty effective (mean-spirited and selfish but definitely effective). One thing I would say tho is that you should add a note into the "combat revive" section with regards to dual natured players. Reviving a zed who joins your side can be a big advantage... especially if like mine he usually has a good supply of syringes. --Honestmistake 21:22, 29 May 2008 (BST)

Nitpicking
You misspelled bandolier. B-A-N-D-O-L-I-E-R, not B-A-N-D-O-L-E-E-R.--Shotstol 03:08, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Please examine. Both are equally valid. --The Grimch U! E! WAT! 03:16, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oh Well... --Shotstol 03:20, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Pro of CRing: You might be reviving dual nature players which are quite common amongst feral zombies.--xoxo 05:05, 19 June 2008 (BST)
