10K Society
I’m always happy when someone catches my mistakes and quietly corrects them. English is not my native language and I have some trouble with punctuation, grammar and some of the tricky words. The 10K page as a figurehead of zombie pride should always be free of mistakes - so I thank you for the edit. For editing your status: I would gladly say yes, but it’s a complicated procedure. First you have to editing your membership title and your badge, then the overview including the all-over XP count. If you think you are up to it you are invited to do it for you and every other member of the 10ker. Congratulations for reaching 30k XP. - Thanks for the offer, my RRF training tells me to avoid titles and responsibility at all costs, but I'm happy to help out with the page. Did the eamil I sent about a script I use to check the page reach you? I have an improved version that I am currently using if you are interested in it (I always think its good to share methods around in case people vanish). Mortificant 14:44, 20 August 2008 (BST)
- The title is just for fun - the EF don't believe in “real” titles. It was only my way to thank you for your help and contribution. Some people love a catchy title for show-off purpose only. No responsibilities at all. Vodoo himself created the title after we decided to make the 10kS as a motivation helper for EF zombies. It’s like the mascot title, MZD wanted it and he got it. - Well I'm happy to take the title unless Voodoo wants to hang onto it, I did send it in to the email address, I suppose I can send it in again, or post it somewhere else if that would be more convenient. Its a perl script that works on windows (if you install active perl) and its a pretty quick way to check the page, or I guess I can mail through the wiki? Mortificant 18:57, 20 August 2008 (BST)
