Penny Heights
Mvario, thanks very much for the intelligence. I appreciate you coming to us with that information - makes it a lot easier for us to plot a strategy for retaking the building in question when we know what's going on inside of it. If you're going to be active in Penny Heights for a while, I'd be glad to have you work with us on taking back the suburb. --DubStreet 23:02, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
Just letting you know in case this info is useful to you or MUM in any way, or at least lulz-worthy: we already met the Rothwell rotters, up close. Yeah, it is quite obviously a zerger. We were watching constantly since bzink started chewing on the barricades today, around 5:20 AM UTC. He ran out of AP, stood still. Immediately after, knizb wakes up and starts eating survivors, ran out of AP, stood still. Immediately after, buzzydoo wakes up, keeps eating survivors (me included - I managed to escape). They were kicked out of Rothwell a few hours later, but yeah, we're thinking it's pointless to keep wasting AP on this git, at least right now. Craddy's up and running anyway. Thanks for the intel! :D --Sophie Ames 21:54, 12 February 2009 (UTC)

About Zerging
The main issue is actually more often medium to high levels alts coming in to revive or hunt down specific accounts/players. Aside from that banning inactive level 1 or 2s wouldn't have much effect against any but a very specific type of zerging, that of sentinels(accounts that exist for the purpose of watching and usually trigger bot actions); Combat mobs gain experience, so do healer alts, reviver alts, repairing alts, and basically all non-barricading alts. You can read some more on zerging here. --Karekmaps?! 02:27, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for getting back to me on that. Like I had said, I'm pretty much a noob. I was just making some assumptions based on seeing a lot of idle level 1 characters and from looking at the statistics page where it looks like 25% of the total players are level one, which appears inordinately high compared to the breakdown for every other level. Is that because of that specific type of zerging you mention or is there just a tremendous fallout of new players? If it's zergs, even if it's just one type, wouldn't purging those characters if inactive for too long not only eliminate at least a part of the zerging problem but also relieve some burden on the player database? --mvario 02:58, 10 December 2008 (UTC)
