Conflict/PKing
I initially thought you were an outright Pker after you killed me twice. However, it seems you were after someone with my name. By doing more research, I discovered you joined created your character back in early May, where as I created mine early August. This means that unless you didn't do anything for several months, that I could not have attacked you when you were a low level. That brings us to what happened next. You pked me a couple of times then I got you back and then this continued for a short time. However, I took a trip to the far South of Malton looking for someone then headed onward to Ridlebank to help the BBB. Soon after posting in the BBB forum, I was insulted by the Ackland Mall Security leader, who says he knows you in RL. He continued to believe I was the one in the wrong, at the time I had no idea what was going on and had reported your activities back in mid August. Apparently, there is someone with a name similiar to mine that started this whole thing. Just trying to figure out exactly what happened. EnglishMuffin 19:09, 6 October 2006 (BST)

Both of you where asked. You had two weeks to reply - so please do so in future to avoid further misunderstandings. It's not our job to track down people who don't reply.
Secondly, editing another user's comment could be considered vandalism (impersonation.) I've given you the benefit of the doubt, restored my original comment and left a note that both your groups are active.

- Firstly, let's get one thing straight. The people doing the suburb massacre aren't trying to discredit any groups, we are trying to keep the wiki up to date. There's a difference.
- Secondly, there are hundreds of groups in Malton. Literally hundreds. There's no way that our modest team of volunteers can sign up on every forum, ask every leader, and do that in a reasonable timeframe. Doing these massacres aren't an easy task - even while resorting to wiki-only communication, and we only have a modest team of people doing these (about 5.) We've got to keep the workload down to a reasonable minimum - and asking on the wiki is simply the easiest way (and most other groups have replied.) If we asked one group via a forum, every group would want to be asked.
- And, yes, we do go off assumptions when doing this. There's simply no other way. If a group doesn't reply after two weeks, then they are presumably inactive. It's the easiest way, and in the majority of cases, it works.
- Basically, to sum all this up - it's not our job to maintain your own pages. It's yours. There was a message up in the wiki news for two weeks - clearly visible on the main page. Linkthewindow Talk 06:42, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Recruitment ad
Your ad on the Recruitment page didn't quite follow the instructions, and normally we would just remove it outright. Instead, I went ahead and changed it to be according to the rules for the page. Basically, if you go here and edit that section, you should see that I changed the code for your ad quite a bit so that rather than having the actual code for your ad there, it now has an "inclusion" for your ad there (i.e. your ad is located elsewhere, but gets inserted into the page automatically by being "included"). Your actual ad is now located at Ackland Mall Security/Recruit, and if you would like to edit your ad at all, you should edit that page. Be sure to update the timestamp there at least once every two months, otherwise the code that "includes" that page on the Recruitment page will be removed. —Aichon— 07:19, 30 August 2010 (BST)

Hey. Response to your e-mail
Assuming you want to re-up your Ackland Mall Security recruitment ad, you need to do the following:
- Go to the Ackland Mall Security recruitment ad.
- Edit the page and replace your signature near the end with a fresh one. Your ad will be good for two months from the time of that signature. Replace it periodically to keep your ad from getting removed.
- Go to the Recruitment page and scroll down to the A-C section, then click on the edit button next to it.
- Scroll down in the code to see where your group should appear alphabetically. At the moment, you should be looking for a line of code that reads:
===[[Angels Wing]] : Revivers/Anti-PKers===
- Paste the following code IMMEDIATELY above the line just mentioned (since your group comes before theirs alphabetically) and add a newline/line break or two after it to space things out a bit:

If you do that, or at least get close to it, then you should be fine, since the others who police that page will help you out with any minor mistakes you may have made along the way.
