HistoryPre-history, How the Clan came to be...... All started from the Warbears Forums, where many of today's Clan veterans come from - even Kris. A few already played Urban Dead, while the majority joined at the time when the Clan was founded, making it colourful group of levels and nationalities as the WB forums were global. There were players from all over the world. On April 4th of 2007, Kris Eikehaug, more commonly known as 315 SgtMaj Eikehaug, created the Crimson Clan organization. With him on this memorable day was Maxuja and MrRobot256 but by the end of the week the Clan had already grown to over 14 members scattered all over Malton. The Clan's first home was the suburb of Dakerstown. There, we fought especially the Imperial War Machine, a player killer group that plagues that area. We were decimating them with the help of our allies, Defenders of Life, FUACK, PARD, Urban Guerillas and later the Cult of Nivelon. Just as things were becoming livable in the suburb, the Extinction horde rolled in. After several months of heated battle we were routed and fled to the nearby malls. Our plan was to rest and restock but a re-organization came along and changed our plans. On June 5th of 2007, the Defender's of Life Survivor Group, lead by St Aden, merged with the Clan to become one of the most organized and fastest growing survivor groups within the city of Malton. St Aden and Tarabon have since proven their worth to the Clan on more than one occasion. They are both very dedicated to the survivor cause and are committed to helping their Clan-mates to the best of their abilities. A great friendship has blossomed from this merger and Malton has reaped its rewards. After a period of loss and re-organization, the Clan has since re-located to central Malton, in the suburbs of Havercroft and Barrville, including the area surrounding the Ackland Mall. We have been increasing our numbers weekly and continue to assist with the survivor cause. The Mall Tour '07 came through our territory and smashed the Ackland Mall. Many of it's occupants evacuated with the AMS to a safe-house that was kept secret from outside communications. This tactic saved many lives and may be considered when the next horde strolls into town. During this tour many things happened; there were a number of large zombie groups that participated making it near impossible to withstand their crushing force of numbers and also some new game changes were added. These new changes could not have come at a worse time for the survivor's of Malton, as they allowed the zombies to ruin buildings beyond a ransacked state and you are now required to use a toolbox to repair these buildings. Nobody had this new item and many of the malls were already crushed and in zed hands at the moment, making it very difficult to find the required equipment, and subsequently created a disaster state across the city. For the first time in history, over 60 percent of the city was in zombie hands. Luckily the zombies' food sources in Clan domain ran out and they began to move on. LUE and the RRF traveled north, allowing us the opportunity to spend time locating toolboxes. Once we had them, we began rebuilding immediately and it did not take long to formulate a plan of attack. The Crimson Clan quickly regained control over Zone E, in Barrville, and made the suburb habitable once again. We revived over 25 zombies at Knill Road in two days time, and have kept the revive queue to under 5 since. Our mission to reclaim Barrville was a massive success in-which the Clan can be proud of for months to come. It is because of cooperation like we experienced on this mission that has drawn so many players to join our ranks. On September 26th of 2007, Tarumigan Gustarai, former member of the AMS, joined with the Clan. His experience and battle prowess will be a great addition to the Crimson Clan and we hope that he is able to stay and rise up through the ranks to one day be as great a Clan leader, as he was with the AMS. On September 27th of 2007, Saria & Neurotoxic, also former AMS member's, joined the Clan's Militia unit. They have decided to assist both Clan and Mall Security in the future and have been very helpful in bolstering communications between our two growing groups. Thanks to all three of you and everyone else who helps keep things good between us. On October 13th of 2007, The Havercroft Mobile Defence Squad joined with the Clan as Platoon W. Their leader, BloodClotT, who goes by the name of scoutin nigga, was assigned the Sergeant position of that Platoon. The Big Bash 2, RRF & the Many, have not been at all what we expected. Out of all of these, the RRF have been the worst due to their PK'illing nature. The BB2 just went South East and may return. The Many just spew propaganda through the airwaves and on tags throughout the sub, which is a nuisance more than anything. We have seen a conglomerate of small groups working well together but no large horde of any single design. This may be "The Many" and I am just unaware. Zone E gets smashed regularly by this conglomerated mass but we get it restored within days and then they return shortly after and we do this over and over again. That is how the past month has gone. Zone E seems to be the only target they want to see smashed or perhaps they don't have the resources to do more. The price of fame Due to the Clan's new found fame and large numbers (now one of the top ten survivor groups in Urban Dead with over 70 members) we find ourselves being targeted by player killers and zombie groups alike. This may be a good sign as this shows fear among our enemies but it can also be a burden and our neighbours are going to pay the price. We, I'm afraid, will have to ask them for support during these trying times. Player Killers make things hard for all survivors and should be killed-on-sight, especially during times of zombie occupation but when times are slow, and I don't like admitting this, they do keep the game interesting. The Militant Order of Barhah (MOB) attacks Ackland Mall, and finally smashes it after a seven day siege, with over 300 zombies. It has been named the War of the North West Frontier, because of the massive number of zombies, all focusing on the North West corner of the Mall. The Dead attacks Ackland, after a very brief period of safety there following the retake. Our member count is increasing steadily and is just turning 60. Ackland has been retaken yet again after a period of it going up-down again and again in just a few days, but seems to be holding for slightly longer this time. Much of the Clan's territory is getting on to be safe now at last, as The Dead seem to be loosing its grip on Malton slightly. Ackland has been safe for many weeks and most Crimson units have been moving around, looking for some action. LUE have now decided to pay us a visit however, and we no longer need to go seeking action. We did get information prior to this regarding their visit, and chose to accompany AMS in their evacuation to Pittman NT and we (and they) fought from there, delaying the zeds considerably. Ackland is currently in zombie hands, courtesy of LUE. For how long we cannot say; though we can say that the map is still looking a lot greener than it was a couple of months ago, when The Dead were in full flow. We are presently planning a quick retake of the Mall, so hope to have our home safe again soon. Our member count is hovering around 60, after a slight drop recently, when Echo Squad decided to part with us. On June 10th 2008, St Aden, our Leader for several months, decided to resign for reasons of his own, though staying on as an Advisor in the Clan. His newly-elected successor is to be Cyadora, who has been a member of our group for a while now and has been Lieutenant of our revive squad (Novo) for 3 months. She has always shown great loyalty to The Crimson Clan and we hope she will continue the good work that St Aden has started. Ackland Mall is barricaded and lit once again, after only a few days of ruin. There are approximately 100 survivors there now. Timeline2007April
