The Yagoton Revivification Clinic (oft abbreviated to YRC, not to be confused with either YMCA or KFC) is a decentralised group of revivers historically based in the suburb of Yagoton. This means two things:
# There is no clear leadership (if anything, the YRC has historically been run fairly meritocratically).
# Everyone is free to join as long as the basic tenets of the group are respected.

That's about all there is to it. Most importantly, that means there is no official 'Do Not Revive' policy that the YRC as a group follows. Individuals are, however, welcome to have their own such policies, and the #Threats And Ethics section hopes to be a useful guide for those who want to know if the zombie they're about to revive is likely to carve their eyes out with a kitchen knife the moment their back is turned.
Additionally, because of its open nature, the Clinic as a group cannot be said to be heavily roleplay-oriented - some members (e.g. MorthBabid) take their IC very seriously, while others (e.g. pinkgothic) go as far as to be OOC at all times. Your mileage may vary.

The Yagoton Revivification ClinicThe Yagoton Revivification Clinic (oft abbreviated to YRC, not to be confused with either YMCA or KFC) is a decentralised group of revivers historically based in the suburb of Yagoton. This means two things:
What are the basic tenets, you may ask?
About the clinicThe clinic itself is based at St. Swithun's Church in Yagoton. We work to revive zombies that line up at the clinic. (If you are interested in the defense of the clinic, get in touch with The Abandoned.) No survivors should sleep in the clinic! Customers are expected to wait their turn patiently, and doctors will visit from the surrounding area to perform the surgical operations. If there are humans inside, then this will make the clinic a target for violent zombie hordes, which jeopardises the entire operation. Employees of the clinic commute a long way to the clinic, some even travel from outside Yagoton. Customers should wait inside the clinic - any customers in adjacent blocks will be exterminated. Exceptions may be made for those immediately outside the clinic. There are provisions for post-revivification treatment and clinic security, though these are limited. The openness of the clinic makes it difficult to keep undesirables out, so customers should be aware that they use the clinic at their own risk. LocationThe clinic is clearly signposted from many locations within Yagoton and surrounding suburbs. It is located in St. Swithun's Church [45,17], which is kept unbarricaded. If the queue is too long, it may be quicker to seek revivification at Yagoton's other revivification point, Harkness Street [41, 12]. This revivification point is now administered by our group, and functions as a back-up clinic during massive horde attacks in Yagoton. Many members of the YRC also support the Sacred Ground Policy, which is a movement to make all cemeteries in Malton revive points. This provides revive points in every Suburb that does not require any research or notification per area. Radio
We share this frequency with our close allies, The Abandoned. Member MessagesRadioAll members, please locate and install radio transmitters and tune them to 26.61 MHz. --Uborkapete 18:00, 5 June 2006 (BST) For the record, this is still true. -pinkgothic 16:27, 4 June 2010 (BST) Staff Messages-Members may post their own notices in this area. This area will be cleaned of messages and reviewed every two or so days, on average. New notices are to be posted on the top of the list. Please put your name/time stamp on each one. Leave a blank line in between each post. Thank you!-
Now hiringThe clinic is always looking for new members of staff. If you wish to contribute, we have the following vacancies. There is no interview procedure - just make your way to the clinic and start helping out. AdvertiserThe clinic requires dedicated individuals with their own spray cans to leave directions to the clinic on as many nearby buildings as possible, and inside nearby NecroTech buildings to encourage more doctors to join our team. We already have messages on a significant percentage of walls in and around Yagoton, though more are always appreciated. It is also important that the interior of the clinic displays the message This is not a safehouse. Please do not barricade and the exterior displays the message YAGOTON REVIVIFICATION CLINIC. Please step inside. If you see that someone has changed the tagging in and outside of the clinic itself, please change it back to normal. It is believed that the best place to search for spray cans is in a school. SurgeonSurgeons are required to bring their own supply of revivification syringes to the clinic and perform revivifications on any customers that may be waiting. They are advised to keep their visits as brief as possible to avoid contact with violent customers, and retire to a safe distance. NurseNurses are required to bring their own supply of first-aid kits to the surrounding buildings and heal any customers that are still feeling weak post-surgery. DefenderThe Abandoned take care of the defense. If you would like apply for this position, contact them. In the long run, the majority of clinic members find it beneficial to learn to handle a gun and build barricades. NecroNet Tech SupportNecroNet Access is at a critical demand during the outbreak, and due to the power situation in Malton requires frequent maintinance of the portable generators due to zombie attacks, and keeping fuel cans on standby so the labs and network can be available 24/7. If you wish to provide such technical support for NecroTech Yagoton branch buildings, simply check the NecroTech Yagoton listing of NecroTech Buildings and ensure that portable generators and fuel cans are provided as needed. Setting up radio transmitters and setting them to 26.61 MHz, the joint YRC Clinic Update Line and The Abandoned's Radio line, will also help out in establishing long-term communications between our two parties and other interested citizens of Yagoton. Threats And EthicsIn the struggle to cure the outbreak of undeath and provide a service to Yagoton by aiding the Yagoton Revivification Clinic, many survivors and scientist alike often find themselves placed in moments of physical conflict, but they may also experience moments of ethical and moral conflict as well. And while it is not the official, carved-in-stone policy of the Yagoton Revivification Clinic to refuse service to possibly hostile groups or persons, you should still know which human groups out there might want to break your face. We leave it up to you; the brave few individuals who have helped make the Yagoton Revivification Clinic strong, with what to do with this information. Make sure to read each listed groups site as well for as clear a picture as possible. If you'd like more than provided here, check with The Abandoned and other survivor groups on the Yagoton page. If you meet any individuals who are not affiliated with any group, talk to The Abandoned and other survivor groups in Yagoton. (Providing screenshot evidence helps as well). This listing is only for established groups who may be a threat. We try to be fair, unbiased, and up-to-date with the information that follows. Whatever comes from it is up to you. Stay safe out there, people. --MorthBabid
Brain RotIf you encounter a zombie with Brain Rot in Yagoton or simply want to see who are the most common patients with this condition, visit the Yagoton Brain Rot Archives to add or gather new profiles. Don't forget to use your DNA Extractor before reviving ANY would-be patient in order to check for Brain Rot, unless you're inside a powered NecroTech facility. If you happen to have Brain Rot yourself and would like to return to the land of the living, let us know by talking with us about it on our Talk page or adding your name to the list here. Or try visiting the Brain Rot Recovery Clinic we're attempting to establish at the Serrell Building. If you break in, kindly emit a pleasant 'Mrh?' and await revivification. Destruction of the generator and assault upon our brave volunteers or revived patients will be met with lethal force. Since the treatment of Brain Rot is difficult, we hope you'll work with us to make the transition as pleasant and safe for all involved. Members Available for HelpThe following list contains members that are active in the clinic and are available to answer any questions you may have about it.
The Yagoton Revivification Clinic Franchise Movement (YRCFM)Recently, a young upstart in the ranks of the YRC (Joshua Aven) proposed the creation of YRC franchises, affectionately known as the "Yummy Roasted Chicken" franchises (term coined by pinkgothic). This movement is dedicated to the replication of the success at St. Swithun's Church in Yagoton of the YRC. The three locations first suggested for this initiative are the other three namesake churches in Malton. These are:
Customer TestimonialsOne day, back when I was just an assistant, I was wandering mindlessly through the suburbs of malton. I happen to find myself in Yagoton, where I stumbled upon the YRC. I thought nothing of it and made myself a dwelling place at the Bale Mall. After a while I found myself becoming a quite frequent customer of the clinic, and slowly attaining necrotech skills I decided that I could give back to the community! I've died at least 45 times and been revived at the clinic at least 85% of the time! Now my life has meaning and is fulfilled, thanks YRC!--Alevins 03:48, 21 June 2007 (BST) Ah...I got trapped in the street, after Catherine General was breached, and once dead made my way to the Clinic...they helped so quickly, I decided to stay and help myself. If I'm not back at a hospital searching for kits, I'll be there to assist the recently revived, so say hello! - Sakura Matou - newest YRC Nurse. I got trapped on the streets and killed. Fortunately, the clinic was only a stone's throw away. The revivification was fairly prompt, and well carried out; soon I was walking and shooting again. The clinic needs more surgeons, though...there are TONS of zombies still waiting for a revive! - KingRaptor On a routine check of the graffiti in the clinic yesterday, I foolishly allowed myself to run out of action points inside. Inevitably, I died. I checked in shortly after midnight (and around 5 pints and a kebab) and stood up so that I could be revivified. I was revivified at 00:53. Less than an hour! - Flytrample I was revivified in under five minutes! Excellent work! - Lord Byron II I'm proud to be a volunteer surgeon (and often a customer!) at the Yagoton Revivification Clinic. Though the risks of running into zombies who are far too mad with severe brain rot to treat often run high when adminstering to the undead, the community and local military personnel really pull together to make this thing work. We truly ARE providing a service here. - MorthBabid We were never trained how to fight the undead during my boot camp days, so i've had to learn how to survive all over again. If it wasn't for the good men and women of the YRC, the process would have been a whole lot more frustrating. I'm proud to keep unruly zeds out of their hair and at the business end of my shotgun - Ryan Grenfell When I was killed, I had just enough strength to stand up and make my way to the clinic. I was unable to get in, as somebody had barricaded it. The barricades were removed in under ten minutes, and after I entered the clinic I was revived in under twenty minutes! - J Random I made my way across the city to Yagoton, and was revived almost immediately, and healed by no less than three willing volunteers. God Bless you all! - IceStella I was staggering around a block away from the church and somebody kindly came over and shoved that hot needle into my neck. Thank you YRC! - balme One day, I found myself wandering the streets, my beard thick with unkept hair. Ugh, it was so damned hot. Milk was a bad choice. Thank the Gods for the YRC. They cleaned me up good. Hell, they even gave me conch so I could reassemble the Channel 4 News Team. - Ron Burgundy Wow! I got revived even before I finished reading this page! How's that for quick service... Cheers Koryr! Wulfen Edvardsonn 13:25, 9 July 2006 (BST) I must say, yours is one of the finest such enterprise in all of Malton. I've been revived sometimes in less than an hour. Damn fine operation you have. --Paradox244 22:53, 27 July 2006 (BST) What a fantastic service, signposted all the way from Bale Mall, waited for all the time it took to find this page, revived in 4 minutes! Astonishing. Last time I waited days at a different Revive point. St Swithuns will see all my business from now on. Now it's back to the Mall and plug a few Zeds for The Abandoned. -- Last Chance Curzon In the war vs 3vil doers and pkers alike, a combat-medic such as myself needs quick and efficient reviving. Even before joining the Abandoned, the YRC has never failed in this endeavor. Keep up the good work! - Private Mark 18:25, September 6, 2006 My interaction with the Yagoton Revivification Clinic goes back several months. Long before I had brainrot I was revived and worked out a bit at a local gym. Along the way I lucky enough to find a flak jacket left on a zombie munchy. I'd like to thank them for the opportunity to briefly exist as a sweaty harman. Now that my brain has decayed your needles are ineffective. I'll gladly wear them as jewelery along a metacarpul or two. I'm planning a return visit in the near future -- ZombieMcAllen 9:20 (EST), December 12, 2006 I still remember my time as a newbie in urban dead, the first revive I ever got was from this clinic, and they were always reliable whenever I needed to be brought back from the dead, no matter how large the queues at St. Swithun's and Harkness st were, or how vicious the hordes were. The Yagoton Revivification clinic was always there for those that needed it then, and it is undoubtedly there for those who need it now. - Me Kill Pie 10:13 (EST), December 23, 2006 The YRC is amazing. I was revived in under ten seconds! - The Wild Rover 9:42 (EST), February 15, 2007 They clean up good! --Tovarisch Khrushchev 08:28, 2 April 2008 (BST) Always good to be promptly revived by your own crew! Thank you! <3 -pinkgothic 15:00, 14 July 2008 (BST) They did a good job. They helped me up in a day or so, quicker than most revives these days. Thank you from Umbrella Corporation! Nemesis645 18:03, 14 April 2009 (BST) When I was killed, I was very sad. I thought it meant spending days in the cementary. On the way to the cementary, I crossed your revivification clinic, and decided to give it a try. That was the quickest revive I ever got! 'Survivorchickengirl' ---Scout talk 17:41, 18 July 2010 (BST) I Fell asleep in an auto shop and got killed and I was far away I staggerd to the clinic and had little ap. I didn't want to sleep in the clinic so i waited outside I was killed at first i was upset But i learned that zombies are constanlty exterminated with few exceptions I learned that the person was unsure If i was friendly so he decided to shoot me i forgive you brad luckman. I am awaiting AP to get up and enter the clinic, then leave. - Scvideoking I didn't leave enough AP to get back in my safehouse and had to sleep on the street one night, and got killed. I looked on the wiki and saw you were the closest revive point to me, and was prepared to wait extroardinarily long amounts of time for a revive. I logged back in in the morning, and was revived! The YRC is incredible! - Andromeda Smith |
