The Yagoton Revivification Clinic The Yagoton Revivification Clinic (oft abbreviated to YRC, not to be confused with either YMCA or KFC) is a decentralised group of revivers historically based in the suburb of Yagoton. This means two things: There is no clear leadership (if anything, the YRC has historically been run fairly meritocratically). Everyone is free to join as long as the basic tenets of the group are respected. What are the basic tenets, you may ask? Be reasonably polite. Revive zombies in the clinic. ... PROFIT!! That's about all there is to it. Most importantly, that means there is no official 'Do Not Revive' policy that the YRC as a group follows. Individuals are, however, welcome to have their own such policies, and the #Threats And Ethics section hopes to be a useful guide for those who want to know if the zombie they're about to revive is likely to carve their eyes out with a kitchen knife the moment their back is turned. Additionally, because of its open nature, the Clinic as a group cannot be said to be heavily roleplay-oriented - some members (e.g. MorthBabid) take their IC very seriously, while others (e.g. pinkgothic) go as far as to be OOC at all times. Your mileage may vary. About the clinic The clinic itself is based at St. Swithun's Church in Yagoton. We work to revive zombies that line up at the clinic. (If you are interested in the defense of the clinic, get in touch with The Abandoned.) No survivors should sleep in the clinic! Customers are expected to wait their turn patiently, and doctors will visit from the surrounding area to perform the surgical operations. If there are humans inside, then this will make the clinic a target for violent zombie hordes, which jeopardises the entire operation. Employees of the clinic commute a long way to the clinic, some even travel from outside Yagoton. Customers should wait inside the clinic - any customers in adjacent blocks will be exterminated. Exceptions may be made for those immediately outside the clinic. There are provisions for post-revivification treatment and clinic security, though these are limited. The openness of the clinic makes it difficult to keep undesirables out, so customers should be aware that they use the clinic at their own risk. Location The clinic is clearly signposted from many locations within Yagoton and surrounding suburbs. It is located in St. Swithun's Church [45,17], which is kept unbarricaded. If the queue is too long, it may be quicker to seek revivification at Yagoton's other revivification point, Harkness Street [41, 12]. This revivification point is now administered by our group, and functions as a back-up clinic during massive horde attacks in Yagoton. Many members of the YRC also support the Sacred Ground Policy, which is a movement to make all cemeteries in Malton revive points. This provides revive points in every Suburb that does not require any research or notification per area. Radio Short-wave Radio Info This group or location has a dedicated radio frequency. There is no interview procedure - just make your way to the clinic and start helping out. Advertiser The clinic requires dedicated individuals with their own spray cans to leave directions to the clinic on as many nearby buildings as possible, and inside nearby NecroTech buildings to encourage more doctors to join our team. We already have messages on a significant percentage of walls in and around Yagoton, though more are always appreciated. It is also important that the interior of the clinic displays the message This is not a safehouse. Please do not barricade and the exterior displays the message YAGOTON REVIVIFICATION CLINIC. Please step inside. If you see that someone has changed the tagging in and outside of the clinic itself, please change it back to normal. It is believed that the best place to search for spray cans is in a school. Surgeon Surgeons are required to bring their own supply of revivification syringes to the clinic and perform revivifications on any customers that may be waiting. They are advised to keep their visits as brief as possible to avoid contact with violent customers, and retire to a safe distance. Nurse Nurses are required to bring their own supply of first-aid kits to the surrounding buildings and heal any customers that are still feeling weak post-surgery. Defender The Abandoned take care of the defense. If you would like apply for this position, contact them. In the long run, the majority of clinic members find it beneficial to learn to handle a gun and build barricades. NecroNet Tech Support NecroNet Access is at a critical demand during the outbreak, and due to the power situation in Malton requires frequent maintinance of the portable generators due to zombie attacks, and keeping fuel cans on standby so the labs and network can be available 24/7. If you wish to provide such technical support for NecroTech Yagoton branch buildings, simply check the NecroTech Yagoton listing of NecroTech Buildings and ensure that portable generators and fuel cans are provided as needed. Setting up radio transmitters and setting them to 26.61 MHz, the joint YRC Clinic Update Line and The Abandoned's Radio line, will also help out in establishing long-term communications between our two parties and other interested citizens of Yagoton. Threats And Ethics In the struggle to cure the outbreak of undeath and provide a service to Yagoton by aiding the Yagoton Revivification Clinic, many survivors and scientist alike often find themselves placed in moments of physical conflict, but they may also experience moments of ethical and moral conflict as well. And while it is not the official, carved-in-stone policy of the Yagoton Revivification Clinic to refuse service to possibly hostile groups or persons, you should still know which human groups out there might want to break your face. We leave it up to you; the brave few individuals who have helped make the Yagoton Revivification Clinic strong, with what to do with this information. Make sure to read each listed groups site as well for as clear a picture as possible. If you'd like more than provided here, check with The Abandoned and other survivor groups on the Yagoton page. Stay safe out there, people. --MorthBabid Extinction: Zombies notified as members of the Extinction horde should be of particular note to scientists dedicated to revivification. Whether by some evolutionary backlash or conscious response toward the NecroTech attempts to essentially eliminate the existence of the undead, the Extinction horde seems to target NecroTech Buildings almost exclusively at first before moving on to other nearby areas. Their activities are common in North-West Malton, so much so that so-called Extinction Zones have been recorded. The Ridleybank Resistance Front: Pre-2006, a majority of the zombie infestation was maintained near the 'center' of Malton. Ridleybank soon rose to have the highest concentration of an active 'horde' of zombies seeming to act with some sort of collective intelligence, leaving many to question previously established theories upon the true nature of the zombie. Regardless of their nature, they seem to show what can be only considered abject hatred for our efforts of revivification, be they undead or living. When you see one, be assured that more are nearby! Philosophe Knights: While generally a secretive group, the most publicly known fact about the the Philosophe Knights is that they seek to annihilate the ignorant and uneducated survivors of Malton in a most literal sense. One would be well advised to bode caution around members of the Knights, as they are as heavily armed as they are passionate toward their intellectual agendas. DORIS: This expansionist group has a long and colorfull history of wide dispute. While normally found in Grigg Heights, many members of this 'Populat' have declared that they recognize "Yagoton as the rightful home of late Steve Irwin and will evict all who stay." While it is not the policy of the YRC to dictate actions toward specific groups, we alert all our members to 'be aware and wary' around these individuals and advise that members avoid large clusters of DORIS members at all costs. The Undeadites: This horde isn't limited to a single area, but seem to mostly pop up and harrass survivors around Bale Mall. Many of this horde seek out undead again in a curious display of death cult mentality, and aren't afraid to spread a bit of carnage and destruction on their path back to an undead state. Be warned! XIII: Another death cult situated in Yagoton, their number will probably never exceed 13, but that's enough to pack quite a punch. They're a fairly fresh threat, less to the Yagoton Revivification Clinic specifically, but to anyone who's not devoted to the number thirteen. You'd think they'd appreciate the revives, at least. This movement is dedicated to the replication of the success at St. Swithun's Church in Yagoton of the YRC. The three locations first suggested for this initiative are the other three namesake churches in Malton. These are: St. Swithun's Church, in the suburb of Heytown. This proposed RP would involve the closure of the Club Swabey and Mester Square Revive Points in favour of one World Class Revive Point further North. Customer Testimonials One day, back when I was just an assistant, I was wandering mindlessly through the suburbs of malton. I happen to find myself in Yagoton, where I stumbled upon the YRC. I thought nothing of it and made myself a dwelling place at the Bale Mall. After a while I found myself becoming a quite frequent customer of the clinic, and slowly attaining necrotech skills I decided that I could give back to the community! I've died at least 45 times and been revived at the clinic at least 85% of the time! Long before I had brainrot I was revived and worked out a bit at a local gym. Along the way I lucky enough to find a flak jacket left on a zombie munchy.
