Latinos! 4... or 5?? i forgot lol
Great!! u dont know how i fight with this PC to learn PHP lol i use to make webpages with HTML lol
anyway, how i can get to be in the confirmed groups? or in the categories, who edits that wiki pages?
- I'm not an expert, but I believe your group will become a "confirmed group" when you have at least 10 members with your group name in their group on their character's profile. (make sure everyone spells it the same and uses the same capital letters! They must be identical!) You have to wait until the group stat page is run again and this will happen automatically. I think the stats page is renewed once a day. You can find a link to it on the main page of the Wiki.
- As far as the being categorized as a group, you will need to put this:"Category:Groups" inside double brackets (without the quotation marks) on your group wiki page. It will not show up on the page, but it will place you in that category. You might also want to put "Category:Human Groups" (inside double brackets and without the quotation marks) on your page, as well. Good luck! Oh! and I understand what you are talking about! I did a bit of HTML coding before and the Wiki confused me quite a bit when I started working on it! You'll pick it up after you've worked with it a while! --Lois talk 10MFH 17:42, 19 February 2009 (UTC)
Your Code

The solution is not to remove the "<!--/-->" but to correct the problem. Please click the link to the guide in the template above and follow the instructions.
That formats like this:

Note how the <!--/--> doesn't show up? It's because you forgot to include the <nowiki></nowiki> tags. So your comment makes sense (:P,) you might want to include those tags.
Just a heads up! Linkthewindow Talk 10:50, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Which is why I should have at least one cup of coffee in me before I do anything in the morning! Thanks, Link! I knew that, but I wasn't paying attention! :P--Lois talk 10MFH 10:57, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Molebank
Huh, sry, but I'm a dual-nature player. Not quite within your policies, I guess)) --Alex Row 19:03, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Oops! No, I'm afraid not... We prefer team members who don't go for us when they get killed. *grins* We did actually try it out once, but it didn't work well as our team member not only attacked us, of course, but wandered away as a zed and just never made it back to the Mole! :P Thanks, anyways! I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask! --Lois talk 10MFH 19:06, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
RE - Deletion of 10 minutes from hell/policies
From the A/SD page: "Further, you should place {{speedydelete}} at the top of the page you are nominating for speedy deletion."
As you said, since it's a Crit 7 it won't require any vote (keep) :) --Janus talk 13:34, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
RE: Active?
Yes, Dr. Steel's Toy Soldiers are active. Currently involved with the Knights Templar in defending Pole Mall against the MOB. --JonnyBGoode 00:19, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Recruitment Ad
Thanks for letting us know ;) Is it ok now? --Janus talk 13:38, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- The image size has been corrected. I've "un-hidden" it and it looks alright to me! Thanks! :D --Lois talk 10MFH 13:45, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
STÄV

- Done. Linkthewindow Talk 08:38, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
The Recrutiment ads
I'm pretty sure with the C category it was because one of the tables wasn't closed (see this.) If that's not the problem, then it may be due to a small screen (I've got a big one which solves a lot of these on it's own.)
Secondly, again, I think that auto sizing is using this code: {|align="left" style= "border:RoyalBlue 2px solid; width:600 px" (or simply width 25px.) In a table:
Testing >.> |
Hope that helps! Linkthewindow Talk 19:25, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- Argh!!! I knew that C category issue was something simple I wasn't seeing! It's fine now. Thank you. Am I right that using "width:100%" adjusts it to fit the screen or what would that do, then? (and... wouldn't that be acceptable as an alternative to using the 600px width? That is - it wouldn't result in an ad that was 600px wide unless a person had a particularly small screen but it wouldn't cause a person to have to scroll right to see the rest of the ad. (and if this is making no sense at all, just let me know.) I presumed that was what was meant by "auto sizing" under the heading Format for Advert Content... --Lois talk 10MFH 20:19, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Recruitment Ad: Image Too Large?
I wanted to inquire about the reason why the BAR's recruitment ad was removed. In your post on their Talk wikipage the reason cited was "image is larger than 76,000px". I wanted to clarify this as the image in question has a file size of 58,627 bytes. Unless you are referring to the dimensions (400x313px in the ad, 545×427px actual). Please let me know so that I can adjust the image accordingly, if required. Thanks. --Mobius 23:24, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- The dimensions are what I was referring to. (which is why I referred to pixels instead of bytes but I suppose using the term "size" was deceiving) Unfortunately, the rather outdated rules on the Recruitment page state "Images are limited to a total of 76,000 pixels, which allows 275 pixels square, or a similar area (multiple images that total under this size are allowed)." --Lois talk 10MFH 01:21, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
Please revert...
from editing our groups. They are still active.--President Jackson 16:46, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- If you don't answer in two weeks your group is going to be removed from the suburb listing. That's what The Great Suburb Group Massacre is about. --Janus talk 17:04, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- It's over now anyway. Linkthewindow Talk 10:47, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
DK13
Before the Recruitment page was broken by petty users there used to be two people who maintained that page. Whitehouse and myself. I do not recall approving any advert. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 05:42, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sure that neither you nor Whitehouse would have made an exception to the stated rules for one group. It would have started a landslide of groups expecting the same consideration. I believe DK13 was under the impression that new rules concerning the ads were going to be instated. Obviously they underestimated just how long it takes to come to a consensus on anything here on the Wiki. *rolls eyes*--Lois talk 10MFH 10:26, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- Ever since a certain user broke the rules to that page and broke it I've not been. I spotted your situation through Boxy's talk page which is on my watchlist. At no point dd I know of us 'approving' any ad, and certain zero exception were ever made. All ads were treated equally when I was running the page in accordance with the guidelines. -- . . <== DDR Approved Editor 11:10, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
Great Suburb Massacre 2009 - Rotter's Relief
Our Group Suburb Listings were removed under the assumption that we are no longer active. This is not so as we have an active forum that have new posts everyday or every two days. We believe that assumption as mentioned above was made as our wiki does not show that we are active. We are OK with that oversight (hopefully it doesn't occur again =D), but please be aware that we are always around to revive those in need and give them a chance to breath once more. Forgive me if the tone was a little too harsh as it was not intended. Cheers! --natakaasd, Rotter's Relief Co-Administrator --Natakaasd 08:16, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- Let me explain how we do a "Suburb Massacre": We go to the group talk pages of every group that is listed on each suburb and leave a small template asking if the group is active. Nothing is done for 2 weeks while we wait for a response. If none is received we place another template on the group page explaining that the group will be removed from the suburb page - and then we do so. We do not try to contact a group through any other means because we don't have the time nor the volunteers to do so. You are welcome to add your group back to the suburb pages where it belongs. If you require help, please let me know. --Lois talk 10MFH 10:31, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I'm aware how it is done. Regarding "response", how do we get around doing it? Leaving a note in your (and other Massacre Moderators) talk page, or in our Group page, Or attach the "Group Active Template"? This is the part which I'm a little confused, and of course, we don't expect you guys to come all the way to our forums to inform us, though we really rarely visit the wiki. =P
- Lastly, yes again. Help is greatly appreciated to put our group back in the listings as we don't have many people apt in it, and those who are, are currently busy with IRL matters.
- Thanks for your response as it was greatly appreciated. Cheers!
- --natakaasd, Rotter's Relief Co-Admin
- --Natakaasd 01:17, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- For future reference, all you need to do is to leave a note on your talk page right below our template. We come back around later on to check for a response and then remove any groups who haven't responded.
- I'll replace your group on the suburb pages later on today when I have time. Am I correct in assuming that you are in Houldenbank, Owsleybank, Stanbury Village, Wyke Hills and Millen Hills? If I'm wrong let me know and I'll correct my errors. --Lois talk 10MFH 11:52, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
- You got all the locations correct. Thanks for your help. It is much appreciated. --Natakaasd 11:55, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
