Suggestion description
After several years of being stranded with the zombies in the city following the outbreak, survivors are beginning to return to their everyday activities, including weekly worship. Needless to say, these activities have also adapted to the zombie apocalypse.
This suggestion allows people to place items onto the altar of churches and cathedrals, purely for religious reasons. The item cannot be picked back up again, and the altar can only hold one item (placing a second 'deletes' the first). For the larger buildings, only one of the squares has the altar, randomly chosen upon implementation of the suggestion.
Zombies can destroy items on the altar for 1 XP. 2, if the item is a decorative item.
This should add some interesting flavour to the otherwise mundane churches. Being able to use any item on the altar means that you can decorate it anyway you want. Want to have a traditional church? Stick a crucifix on there. How about a revival point? Use a needle. PK'er paradise? Use an axe. Death cultist? Try praying to a Human Skeleton. Want to worship the God of Trenchcoats? Place thine Holy Shotgun upon the altar.
Flavour text:
A/An [Item] has been placed onto the altar, You place [item] onto the altar, You clear the altar and place [item] upon it, [Name] placed [item] onto the altar, You destroy the [item] on the altar, [name] destroyed the [item] on the altar
If you place a radio or cellphone on the altar, you switch it off first. It was decided that receiving txts or radio transmissions via. the altar was too much. Plus, it's like a sin, or something. Transmitters and generators on the altar do not get powered or fuelled.

- Keep - This is great. It benefits those survivors who really like to decorate and it gives zombies another way to gain XP (Zombie Lord back me up here =P). Also I can taste the flavor in my mouth.--GANG Giles Sednik CAPD 18:52, 8 July 2009 (BST)
- Keep - Why are peole always against making the game more interesting or changing it up? --Imthatguy 18:56, 8 July 2009 (BST)
- Keep - silly flavor --People's Commissar Hagnat [talk] [wcdz] 18:57, 8 July 2009 (BST)
- Keep - Although churches are not very often visited by any of my characters, seeing this in the flavour text would put a smile on my face. --RahrahCome join the #party!19:14, 8 July 2009 (BST)~

- Keep - I'm game. --Maverick Talk - OBR 404 19:46, 8 July 2009 (BST)
- Keep - After four years of quarantine, I would think a few post-apocalyptic cults would have cropped up. The flavour would be nice and eerie. (The Philosophe Knights can even install books and properly "Praise Knowledge.") The various nuns and priests I've seen can still install crucifixes. Finally, Bonghit? I don't recall ever having to smash decorations to get a ruin. It's just a bonus "Take that, food!" maneuver to smash decorations. --Queen Mum 20:15, 8 July 2009 (BST)
- Mmmmmm Flavor - And here I thought UD was getting a bit stale. You have my holy shotty. --Private Mark 23:37, 8 July 2009 (BST)
If Bonghit420 is right, this is one more thing that zombies have to waste AP on to get a ruin! Thus providing a tactical reason for actually having junk in the first place. The fact that survivors would have to waste AP to find said item is meaningless, since survivors have to keep searching anyway for items, and they can throw their trash onto the altar to help defend the area from ransackers. This actually makes crucifixes, of all things, useful in an incredibly stupid way befitting of UD. Go Bonghit420! You just made me voteKEEP!--ShadowScope'the true enemy' 00:05, 9 July 2009 (BST)Oh wait, Bonghit420 was wrong.
