Rebuild Wyke Hills, Take 2

Funny how Wyke Hills seems to get hit twice a year, in the middle of summer and middle of winter. Then again, it makes sense that zombies might pick up a sense for migration over the last four years... you stay standing still for too long and you rot to nothing!

Anyways, it looks like the same MoB has ransacked all of Wyke Hills (they're getting more efficient, aren't they?) so the next few days would be a good time to start rebuilding in force. I'd appurshiate any info on how Wyke Hills is doing immediately after the strike. Is there a long comet tail of ferals or have the majority of the MoB moved on? My Wyke Hills-stationed character has a kid to tote around, so he wouldn't risk doing a run into the suburb to find out himself... but ICly he is supposed to be fairly well connected with Wyke Hills and Grayside locals. If you happen to be in Wyke Hills and would rather send a mobile phone message than post in the news area of the wiki (though I'd recommend both! XD) check my character's URL[1] to phone 'im.

JAC, if you're still breathing just let us know how to help. I've got a few on crew who I could coordinate with to make this go faster.

Rebuild Wyke Hills

2009 Jul 09 - JustAnotherConsumer is looking for partners in the short-term goal of rebuilding the post-MoB ruins of Wyke Hills. This is not a group in the traditional UD sense, more of a temporary alliance to accomplish a specific goal.

If you wish to support this operation, go to this forum, post your profile link and what you want to accomplish.

Spreading the following graffiti tag will help as well:

RESIST! http://sn.im/rebuildwyke

(Please respect existing tags for entry points, barricade levels and other essential info.)

We couldn't stop MoB from rolling through, but we sure as hell can make it look like they never came - living well is the best revenge!

Wyke Hills Radio

I note that there is no official radio station recommended for Wyke Hills. Buttonville has achieved some success in widely adopting a single neighborhood wide radio station, 26.84. It has also been largely adopted by inhabitants of the Mall since they can reach a wide audience. I would like to invite survivors in Wyke Hills (at least those near the mall) to also tune to 26.84 and possibly adopt it as an official neighborhood wide station to engender cooperation and mutual defense of the neighborhoods. --ZaqWer 03:01, 15 December 2007 (UTC)

Necrotech Buildings

I've added the listed necrotech buildings to the resource buildings list as they were not on. Pillsy F! 14:26, 30 August 2006 (BST)

Request

I mistakenly took brain rot, not knowing how serious it was. I'm standing by The Needs Building SE of Knight's Square. If someone could revive me I'd be most appreciative.

Tactical Area Is working on it, it might be a day or two because we are slightly understaffed right now

You are screwed, start a new character. Also, sign and date your posts!--Airborne88Zzz1.JPGT|ZC|MI|E! 02:20, 13 March 2008 (UTC) 04:21, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

ok first of all that was uncalled for. second of all that was from a long time ago so why your bothering to post now is beyond me and finally try to be a little politer next time. oh and heres me signature -->

You are right that was rude of me I am sorry. But, you can only be revived inside a powered NT. That is very hard to find. Still, every time you die you have to be revived in the same manner. It would be easier to start a new character who is a human and leave the current as a zombie. Just hit this button to sign your postSign.png. Sorry again about being rude.--Airborne88Zzz1.JPGT|ZC|MI|E! 02:20, 13 March 2008 (UTC) 05:02, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

--- OK I can see why you'd say that mainly because I did that once and depending where you are it is easier to just make a new character. and whoever made the reply on T.A.R's behalf must not have signed it because I do sign all my posts. I think I know who it was. I'll remind them to sign from now on.--Sharline Jade 05:09, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Well, in my humble opinion it would be easier start from scratch, I should have been nicer in how I presented my thoughts. But, in the end it is your call to start over or not. Good luck however you choose to proceed.--Airborne88Zzz1.JPGT|ZC|MI|E! 02:20, 13 March 2008 (UTC) 05:16, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

Comments on Multi-Abuse

  • December 26th, 2006

Survivor players have already begun using multi-abuse against the Brigade. Both of these accounts were logged as having attacked me within 1 minute of eachother.

TastyBeverage (The Hartford Wrecking Crew) http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=686919

Noob96 (unafilliated) http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=687501

Honorable players in the area are encouraged to kill these two characters on sight, and avoid reviving them.

  • I would like to respectfully point out that TastyBeverage of the HWC is a respected member of the alliances quickly growing in and around the area. the other account we have never seen before. as for both attacking within minutes that could be purly coincedental, it has happened to me on several occasions. We here of the Tactical Area Rescue ask the honerable players that he not be killed and if found dead to please revive him., I do not know who posted the above message but I assure you they are at war with as far as I know a pk'ing group. TastyBeverage does NOT zerg that we are aware of and as mentioned earlier a respected member of the HWC, FoFsT and of T.A.R itself. if he PK'ed you please provide screenshot proof of the kill and report it to brainstock. Thank you. --Sharline Jade 08:58, 27 December 2006 (UTC)
  • Nice try guys, but we know who our friends are thanks, and you won't get us to turn against each other that easily. I have user IDs of 4 members of the Barhah Brigade which I will post in the FoFST forum shortly, so we can add you to our contact lists for easy identification. Enjoy your (lack of) zombie anonymity! -- Keith Drudgely
Same creation date, Same Real name. That stinks of zerger to me. --Grim s-Mod U! 05:49, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
Lookie what we saw in the mall: http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=715656
Naughty Naughty Zerger. Two accounts attacking the same character can be explained as a chance once off encounter, but a third character with the same real name and a creation date one later than the previous operating in the same area sinks even that possible benign excuse. Move your fucking characters away from each other, zerger scum. --Grim s-Mod U! 05:30, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
I take back everything I said, that's pretty bad. Not to mention foolishly obvious. --Keith Drudgely 22:10, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

MOB alert

Militant Order of Barhah.gif MOB Alert
The Militant Order of Barhah have ransacked a nearby suburb-Kinch Heights. Locals should be advised that the MOB may attack their suburb at any time-and should take precautions. New players may wish to evacuate the suburb. This alert was posted on 17 August 2008).

Pretty much says it. They destroyed Kinch Heights in under a week, so be careful, local survivors...

Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010

All suburb wiki pages are undergoing a clean up to remove inactive groups from the group listing (see here: this suburb's groups). If you are a group currently listed in this suburb, you will be contacted on your group's talk page within the next few days and asked to reply, indicating that you are active in this suburb. Groups that fail to reply within two weeks of being contacted will automatically be removed from the suburbs where they are listed.

We're posting here in the hopes that more groups will be aware of the clean up and can respond appropriately, since our team does not have the time nor the manpower to seek out every group in-game or track down its group members elsewhere on the wiki. If you know that some groups in your suburb do not check the wiki, please be a good neighbor and let them know that they NEED to check it for this, or else they will be unlisted in the near future.

The wiki members coordinating the cleanup will be using the table below to track their progress in communicating with the various groups. Please do not edit it if you are not involved with The Great Suburb Group Massacre 2010 team.
