The Entire Sysop Team, excluding Kevan and "Urbandead"

For about a year now, we have progressed through with a Sysop team chosen and run by the same "clique" on this wiki. New blood has passed through the ranks and the majority of the user base who aren't in a position of power were not around when this select group was chosen. The positions have long been monitered by both Boxy, and Grim, and the moment someone else came into that particular position of promoting users to the Sysop role, their decision were smashed to pieces by the likes of, guess who, the original sysop "clique". For too long now, good users have come and gone, some have gone haywire and just not given a fuck anymore, while useless sloths like Hagnat run around breaching the rules at every moment possible, without a fear of being punished. Why would he fear punishment? The majority of the sysop team are from his little group, he has nothing to worry about.

Around mid-2008, the "new wave" of wiki users finally got the 'Crat team they wanted. Grim was gone, whether or not that was a good thing remains unknown, and it felt as if a changing of the guard from the old and stale, to the new and fresh was finally going to happen. As predictable as the tides, the older sysops and their little "clique" still made sure nothing that they didnt like would pass. The promotion of Jed showed us that this clique, unfit to represent the larger wiki who vouched strongly for Jeds character, still felt the need to harass a 'Crat in a higher position of authority to them, just to get what they wanted. We lost Gnome that day, and since then, the wiki has gone back to what it always was.

Every sysop on the current team is not fit. SA maybe is, but he was not chosen by the right people. We need the entire sysop team OUT, and an entire new one in.

I am including every sysop in this, as they are all a result of the "old school" regime. We need something new, and we need it now. We need an entire new team, voted by the community and approved by Kevan, including some of these users, new and old. Any sysop should be willing to go through some cleansing. In the words of Mr. Box E, it's "for the betterment of the wiki".

Since this is involving every sysop, only Kevan can rule, as he is the only other administrator. Or perhaps it can go to a community vote.

While your comment is ridiculously unbalanced and obviously an attempt at jibbering your opinion into validity, no, to keep a position as a sysop (or retain), they would have to have the communities support. Hmmmm Where to begin... There are so many mistakes and assumptions made in this rant it's almost (but not quite) funny. First of all you are second only to "He who will not be named" in your blind ability to lump all the sysops together as one cohesive unit. We of the senate find this amusing. Second you say the entire sysop team jumped Gnome? Excuse me I think he was doing a great job and think it was a disservice to this wiki when he stepped down. I'd put him up for a promotion again in a heartbeat given the opportunity. Third, FYI Putting this up is in fact vandalism since you are in fact "shitting up an admin page" as the kids say now a'days. Fourth...Where the hell did you get the idea that a Crat has any more or less "authority" than a regular sysop. Admittedly they have 1 additional power and therefore a slightly higher level of responsibility, but their word caries no more or less weight in a vandalism or misconduct case. Fifth, Bob is your master. Submit in all things to him. Sixth... Lulz Wat? Seventh you want to see a change in the sysop team, put people up for promotion that will take the job and do it (in your opinion) right. I'll vouch for damn near anybody with a positive record and a pretty face. (Gold in the basket is helpful but optional). And Finally, Since Only the sysop team can rule on Misconduct cases, and Kevan does not involve himself in such matters without gross Misconduct (Think Grim, which just about anyone would agree we are not guilty of) and I'm not going to rule on a case on which I am a named party and therefore guilty of misconduct(Nice try though).
