CRAP

This is a great idea. Anything focusing on revives is good stuff. An aggressive revival campaign such as this could benefit from employing some CRAP tactics. I believe you are already familiar with what I'm referring to. If you'd like to show your support for a fellow revive movement please throw up this template somewhere on this page.

If you have a Big Prick template I'll add it to the CRAP page as well and help to promote your idea. --Giles Sednik 21:19, 22 April 2008 (BST)

I do have an alt that I could put to use. What suburb, or area of Malton, are you thinking of occupying?--Sapporo 03:24, 2 May 2008 (BST)

TBP is a nomadic event. When we get enough people, we'll just hit where we can have the biggest impact, then keep moving from there. "When" is probably more important, and theat would likely be in a couple weeks. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 03:49, 2 May 2008 (BST)

I've been advertising TBP around various NTs and people are getting excited and joining up, so help spread the word!

Stocking up. And checking out.

So im on my way down to the start line. Are we going for any coordination or are we following the mantra , If its dead, prick. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:19, 6 May 2008 (BST)

Some of both. The basic idea is just to move together to one area (inititially South Blythville, TBA after that) and flood it with revives as fast as possible. Use whatever revive tools you like to assign priority revives, but do try to revive as many as you can. Obviously team members are a priority, as DIRT:NAP tactics (which likely won't be called for or even helpful in South Blythville) require that you revive at least one team member each time you yourself are revived. The Masscontacts listing on the membership page makes that easy. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 21:46, 6 May 2008 (BST)
There all added. Always help to pay it forward. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 19:07, 7 May 2008 (BST)

As of now, there are no zeds at RP's on South B. In fact less then 1o zeds visible in total. The Pippard building has someone standing outside, although he's a living breathing level one survivor.

Perhaps this is not the greatest opening target? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 23:29, 8 May 2008 (BST)

Gee Aveneue had 40+ zombies when I picked it. Its a good place to assemble, because it provides easy access to the current "big red" in the south of the city. But yeah, As initial targets go, its a bit of a turkey shoot; that just means we revive EVERYTHING and move out fast. I'll have a new location up to move to before Monday. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 01:18, 9 May 2008 (BST)
Cool. I agree. Its a good forward base, but to launch pricks from not on. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 17:26, 9 May 2008 (BST)

the Nich Building seems to be zombie central. 9 standees, ruined. Heres a couple with DNR tags. http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=1158980 http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=48415 --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 08:51, 11 May 2008 (BST)

We are moving quickly. Nich building has one rotter left inside, ive pushed on to buttonville. 17 zeds at 44,93--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 23:04, 11 May 2008 (BST)

Both RP's in buttonville have 7 zeds at. --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:26, 13 May 2008 (BST)
Both RP's are clear. Next target? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 20:45, 15 May 2008 (BST)
War is clear as s the indoor RP in the junkyard, mall is back up. New target soon? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 17:29, 24 May 2008 (BST)
My old stomping grounds near Craddy NT (west of War Crescent, north of Joachim Mall) could still use a little more help. Plus, I could use a day or two to restock on needles. Asheets 19:22, 27 May 2008 (BST)
Sounds good. A few of us are down at the Malcolm Building and could re-stock and then come up there. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 19:30, 27 May 2008 (BST)

I recommend Houldenbank as our next target. There's an NT there with 21 zeds outside, plus a bunch of ferals in the area. Better search rates than Penny Heights, anyway... Asheets 16:22, 4 June 2008 (BST)

Hey there -

A bunch of us have been hanging out in Houldenbank waiting for instructions. We haven't heard anything for weeks. What's up? -- Ready Freddy/Demonicka 19:44, 16 June 2008 (BST)

Prewtty much looking at either disbanding (not much need any more) or taking over a burb and making it a "revive all comers no matter what" zone. SIM Core Map.png Swiers 20:15, 16 June 2008 (BST)
This has actually been a lot of fun for me, and I'm not looking forward to giving up. Let's head NW to Extinction territory and see what kind of a mess we can make up there. Or we could make a mess of this week' seige of Caiger. Asheets 22:14, 16 June 2008 (BST)
Come over to Beerhah.com [1], there's a big prick area over there. Garum 10:36, 17 June 2008 (BST)
Unless I'm reading it wrong, the traffic there seems to be a bit stale. Asheets 17:27, 17 June 2008 (BST)

Folks, I was just at the Malton Revive Queues map, and it seems that there are long queues in Roftwood and Standbury Village. I propose we all head to 61:51 and start working there. Asheets 17:27, 17 June 2008 (BST)

Hildebrand Mall just fell, so let's go. The rev point at Swansborough Park (68,53) seems like a good place to start. --Sapporo 23:45, 17 June 2008 (BST)
I'm heading West anyway, so I can meet up with you guys in Roftwood/Stanbury Village area. I'll spread the word to other Pricks that I encounter, to check the wiki and coordinate from here or the Beerhah Forums. I am curious to see how we could do against LUE. So, maybe working West, then North from there would be the way to go. Or, we could just jump right in the fire and go to Caiger. --Mrite 13:25, 18 June 2008 (BST)
42 Zs in Roftwood's Swansborough Park (68, 53) waiting revs now. Looks like our dear leaders have abandoned us. --Sapporo 20:29, 19 June 2008 (BST)

Well - I'm good with whatever we decide. Just need a decision. Let's not lose what we've already started. - Ready Freddy/Demonicka 22:32, 19 June 2008 (BST)

I'll second that. I know the survivor/zombie ratio is back to 60:40 again (on good days), and that this was in large part created as a response to The Dead, who aren't really a threat anymore. But the mobile-reviving-horde-going-into-red-zones concept was brilliant...it worked, and what's more, it gave survivors (especially loners) a new gameplay option. It's a style of play I personally like, with its limited metagaming and offensive (instead of defensive) emphasis, and I'd hate to see it die out. I'd say there's a need of it as long as there are red zones and metagame-averse survivors who still want to make a real difference. --Jen 18:05, 20 June 2008 (BST)

OK, I'll do it... and is Swiers gets mad at me, I'll abdicate quickly. I'll update the template in a few... Asheets 17:12, 20 June 2008 (BST)

Operations at Swansborough Park

I must have been the only person to not realize just how close a mall was! I could have cured my infection days ago :( Anyhow, good job everybody; A few more revives at the park and well be able to expand our operations a bit to the neighboring blocks before moving on. Asheets 18:15, 27 June 2008 (BST)

I don't think we should leave Swansborough until the mall and Herbert NT is unassailable. As for the next targe3t...?--Sapporo 08:03, 28 June 2008 (BST)
We'll stay in the Swansborough vicinity for now. We haven't done such a great job of swarming the suburb, since most of us are still concentrating on the mall revive point. We're getting good press, even though we still accidentally get a GKer here and there. In the meantime, I'll start looking for another target for late July/early August. Asheets 19:03, 30 June 2008 (BST)
Has the search rate for needles gone down recently, or am I just unlucky?--Sapporo 06:02, 1 July 2008 (BST)
No, it pretty much sucks. That, combined with the 7 GK incidents I noted in the last 12 hours, may be enough for us to move on out. Asheets 16:03, 1 July 2008 (BST)

Operations at Swansborough Park, part 2

It has become somewhat apparent to me that we're starting to drift away from our mission a bit (swarming a 'burb with a massive amount of revives in the attempt to bring it back alive) into trying to hold territory (like we seem to be doing with Herbert NT). It isn't bad, but we are starting to needle more GKers and whatnon that I'd like to see. Therefore, we're going to expand our operations a bit to cover the entire suburb -- basically, all three RPs instead of just Swansborough. Watch the header and the banner template for specific locations coming shortly. Asheets 17:31, 1 July 2008 (BST)

Good day, I just saw you folks at the Herbert NT, and I'd like you to thank you all for keeping the suburb alive.
While I won't stop you from moving to the other RPs, according to the latest NecroNet scans it seems that the zombie activity is concentrating in the area around Swansborough Park. I'm not sure what to make of it, but staying around for a bit longer to observe what happens next (will they siege the NT? or are they going for the mall?) while continuing your operations as a group would do a lot of good for the survivor community of Roftwood. --Aeon17x 17:39, 1 July 2008 (BST)

Operations at Swansborough Park, part 3

I am calling for a retreat to the Farmer Building (82,46) at this time. Our operations in Roftwood were initially successful, but garnered the attention of RRF, LUE, The Dead, and a bunch of other big zed groups. We should be proud that we've attracted so much attention, but right now I'm out of needles (and I'm sure the rest of you are low as well).

Let's regroup for a week, restock, and then head back to Swansborough Park and just flood the place. To the residents of Roftwood, I say this -- "WE SHALL RETURN!" Asheets 15:55, 8 July 2008 (BST)

Operations in Pitneybank

I know we were planning to just rest and reload in Pitneybank -- I was told the area was "green". However, it looks like a horde managed to take Ft. Creedy (near our rally point) and are now threatening Giddings Mall. We have an opportunity here to restore safety to a burb before it actually is lost, so we should make the most of it.

Our priorities here are (1) revive at the Creedy cemetery, (2) secure the Farmer Building and Benedict's hospital, and (3) revive the inside of the fort. Because of the design of the fort, I recommend dirt-napping at the cemetery, or else getting inside Farmer for the night. Asheets 22:12, 10 July 2008 (BST)

Operations at Perryn, part 1

Whats up people? Nobody left or what? I would suggest to regroup to an other more healthy suburb and restock...Pitneybank seems lost to me. Naabster

Yea, I've got to agree that we're fighting a losing battle here. I've dropped 50 needles personally and restocked twice since this battle began. The queue just won't go less than 30, and nobody is paying it forward. Sad to say, but I'm thinking Ft. Perryn is next, since I have a spy there that says that the NT and revive point are active, but there is a war going for the fort itself. They are calling for reinforcements there, so I say we should go. Asheets 16:32, 29 July 2008 (BST)

Confirm that! I told everyone i saw to go there and i am on the way down there... An other topic...does anybody know how many Prickers are still active and working? It looks like we have about 5 or 6 people doing revives... am i wrong? Naabster 00:30, 30 July 2008

I know of 6 regulars with their profiles set, and several others who are in my contacts list who are in allied organizations. Asheets 00:23, 30 July 2008 (BST)
I'm still alive. I've been dead at several revive points for a couple weeks now. Just now noticed the move order to....the other side of town. Gonna haul my zombie ass to get there before its wiped out. Currently OUT of stock.--Dzme14 02:38, 31 July 2008 (BST)
Great to hear that you are still out there dzme! I made it (allive!!!) to Malcom building to find it funktioning with about 50 survivers in it. Necronet counts arround 80 Zeds in the area. Naabster

Operations at Perryn, part 2

Stock up, folks. We hit the gatehouse on Monday. Asheets 18:05, 2 August 2008 (BST)

Last time I checked there were only 5 Zs at the gatehouse.--Sapporo 20:36, 3 August 2008 (BST)
Cool, I've actually got a pro-survivor alt nearby who has been stocking on needles. I'll see yah there! SIM Core Map.png Swiers 22:44, 3 August 2008 (BST)

Good job, everybody... the fort is about half repaired now. Asheets 17:13, 5 August 2008 (BST)

im from Area 51 and we have got some reenforcemnt comming to help retake the fort.--Fanglord2 20:04, 8 August 2008 (BST)

Operations at Perryn, part 3

Nothing left but the rotters here. We'll be changing our focus shortly. Stock up and stand by. Asheets 21:53, 11 August 2008 (BST)

Operation Quick Whittenside

Move SW to Colglough NT (85,95). Anne General Hospital can use some quick assistance, and we can give it while I try to find our next big target. Asheets 16:11, 12 August 2008 (BST)

Operation Completed! Move onto Crowbank now. Asheets 16:15, 14 August 2008 (BST)

Operation Crowbank

By general consensus, we are ending our operations at this burb, mainly because of the number of rotters and stupid noobs who kill people at revive points. We are headed for Judgewood. Asheets 17:22, 21 August 2008 (BST)

Thank Zog. Their utter disregard for the barricade plan made moving around a dangerous enterprise. --Merzy 20:47, 21 August 2008 (BST)

Operation Judgewood

I'm just going to warn everyone right off that we're going to have to carry some toolboxes and use a lot of AP to un-ruinate some of these buildings. Asheets 16:12, 22 August 2008 (BST)

Also, be careful on your approach to the NT -- Extinction is operating in the area. Asheets 23:23, 22 August 2008 (BST)

Yes, and we'd be grateful if you'd re-ruin whatever you barricade once you're done with the suburb as Extinction has a Tidy Town Policy in Judgewood. Guests are always welcome of course as a steady trickle of brains helps keep the feral population in town, oh and if you could especially target me for a CR I'd be grateful as they're so hard to come by in the NW. Anyways, I hope your stay is fun and if you could give me a heads up when you're settled into the Ludlow bungalow I'll do my very best to pop down with some friends. Cheerios and have a nice stay! --Zeug 05:56, 23 August 2008 (BST)

Despite sprayings to the contrary I have repaired and caded the Peet NT building. I stayed overnight in the open NT building and surprisingly woke up alive. I also repaired an adjoining factory, should I bother to try and light the NT buildings? Also, Im not so sure the open NT revive point strategy is a good one.--Sapporo 21:19, 28 August 2008 (BST)

My opinion is that you have to do enough to the NT to find needles. Sometimes that means power, and sometimes it doesn't -- depending on search rates and experience in the neighborhood. I have no experience with Peet NT, but Percival NT is usually unpowered and gives a good return on searches when it isn't ruined. In any case, you'll have to burn a bit of AP just to repair the buildings -- they've been ruined for some time. Asheets 00:29, 29 August 2008 (BST)

Everything's looking good. We've got good signs of life At Herne, the north cemetery, and at the Peet NT in the south. If we can get the west cemetery going again, I'm willing to say "mission accomplished". Any ideas for a future target? Asheets 16:16, 4 September 2008 (BST)

Well if I was a Big Prick ... which I'm not of course ... I'd have to have a go at Dunell Hills seeing as you're in the vicinity and The Dead is in decline. Or Eastonwood, those Ferals are awesome fun and will tear you lot a new one real quick. --Zeug 17:48, 4 September 2008 (BST)
