your suggestion

welcome to the world of suggestions... its not a nice place but it can be fun ;) Just a few points first and most important... go proof read you edit, you will thank me:) Second; the encumberance needs to be a lot higher... i would say at least as much as a generator or toolkit but probably more. These things are as big as a person! Other than that, nice work, keep it up!--Honestmistake 17:00, 12 October 2007 (BST)

Wow. Sorry someone put you up for Vandal Banning man. Don't worry though, As HonsetMistake will probably agree most of us on the suggestions talk page aren't too bad. --SeventythreeTalk 23:33, 12 October 2007 (BST)

Talk Suggestions Template

Ross, you seem to be giving everything 7 days. If you don't catch the exact end of the conversation you can probably give it less if it is clear that chat has died or broken down to off topic stuff. It's generally 7 days from the last real comment so if you post 3 days after the last one you can put 4 days, for example. You may also want to put the template at the top of the chat. I find it makes people notice it better. (Archive this post in case anyone says differently) ;) You may want to move stuff over to here too. I always forget that overflow page is there. Thanks for helping out! I haven't forgotten our little "exchange" when we started the image project, by the way... --– Nubis NWO 11:50, 12 October 2008 (BST)

At the top under Cycling Suggestions: Developing suggestions that appear to have been abandoned (i.e. two days or longer without any new edits) will be given a warning for deletion. If there are no new edits it will be deleted seven days following the last edit. I read this as after 2 days you can warn them, but after 7 total it is gone. It seems to keep the clutter down.--– Nubis NWO 10:56, 13 October 2008 (BST)

Adopt a building

Hi,

I was going to write a page about the tactics my new zombie group is developing, but I haven't got round to it yet. It's laid out in the group page, but in a nutshell we have picked a single building in a usually-green suburb to attack and if possible keep ruined. I'm interested to see how the breathers react, since they can't drive us away, and we just stand up again if killed. We've grown in numbers over the last week or so, and hope to appear on the stats page soon.

Anyway, that template isn't used at the moment, but I might need it someday. Billy Forks 20:30, 12 October 2008 (BST)

re: The Great Radio Massacre

I was thinking something similar to the suburb massacre. Put a template on every group page that has a radio listing, wait 2 weeks for a response, then weed out the non-responders. Asheets 16:22, 13 October 2008 (BST)

SZES

You are the "Arbirator of the Special Zombie Extermination Squad"? What's an 'arbirator'? -- To know the face of God is to know madness....Praise knowledge! Mischief! Mayhem! The Rogues Gallery!. <== DDR Approved Editor 10:57, 22 October 2008 (BST)

It's changed again, now to "4. Rosslessness - (Awaiting Answer) Arbiter of the Special Zombie Extermination Squad". His response below details the stupidity of this individual, he can't differentiate between a player and his characters, and the character he does decide to associate with murder is the one who is the most pro-survivor of my characters and my pacifist.
And he wonders why he went on the Order's 'Educate on Sight' list.... -- To know the face of God is to know madness....Praise knowledge! Mischief! Mayhem! The Rogues Gallery!. <== DDR Approved Editor 11:20, 23 October 2008 (BST)

Soldier UDW

10/22/08: Hey dude, I have mispelled Arbiter (I have put Arbirator instead Arbiter accidently) on the SZES page. Sorry about that, Don't listen to what that Player Killer has said. Will you still join? In fact I may not be a good speller (since I probably sucked at it) but I' am a good leader.

Re's

I replied to you on my talk page. - tylerisfat 20:19, 27 October 2008 (UTC)

Which Hills?

I'm not exactly in Dunnell Hills right now...am up in Dakerstown, though, where we're being counter-attacked by Extinction. ;) They're taking out all the factories and hospitals in hopes of starving us out of the NT. --Jen 06:03, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Can you confirm the hiskett PD is on the border of the Map? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 15:15, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

No, Hiskett isn't on the edge of the map. I have other blocks after that. At least 3 right now. After Hiskett goes Oldroyd Alley, Hole Street, then Feltham Street. I have an excel spreadsheet I started for this.

Also after the Agatho Street School on the bottom of this "suburb" is at least 3 more blocks. The confusing part is that the suburb title for all these locations always said East Borehamwood. So are the suburbs bigger than 10x10, maybe?

Other tips I have. I just looked up the Dead Set TV series on Wiki, for clues of the whereabouts of the Big Brother House in the game I found that they used an ex-military site for the set. Also that the real UK Big Brother House was in Elstree Studios in Borehamwood/Elstree, Hertfordshire, England. So I am think there has to be some type of Elstree location on the map. Good luck finding it. The map is so huge. Really it will just be some lucky that finds it first. Because they will auto-gen in a close spot. Plus you have to stay alive long enough to find it. Well actually, no, you can find it as a zombie

NW Borehamwood

Well, I was going south, but there's no problem heading NE to me :) No AP left though, I'll have to wait tomorrow. --Janus Abernathy 15:40, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. Let's hope I'll find one soon then. :) --Janus Abernathy 15:49, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
I became enraged (lol). I'm posting all the Iwit screeny on Duke Talk Page --Janus Abernathy 16:21, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Im having similar problems in the NW! --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 15:28, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

I did a little real life scouting. The Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, England seems to be in the center of Borehamwood. I'm going to try and go towards the middle. That's assuming East Borehamwood in the game is near the East edge of the map. If I head west maybe I'll have luck???

I guess so!--RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 15:54, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

duke's stuff

thank's got there' iwitness. i've made a miniscript that parses out info from the html of ud page (not full) into here: User:Duke Garland/BHW. be right back --~~~~ [talk] 21:02, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

i need you to do some stuff for me for this to be faster. you use irc? --~~~~ [talk] 21:04, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

only through mibbit. What you need? --RosslessnessWant a Location Image? 21:05, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
damn iwitness with it's shitty cutting. as soon as i'll sort out - i'll tell you, but prepare to cyc;e iwitty reports. how many are there to parse? --~~~~ [talk] 21:14, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
ok, i'm gonna parse iwitness only. point me to as many iwitness links as possible. i already did those 7 Janus Abernathy's on Northwest_Borehamwood --~~~~ [talk] 21:51, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

i think i done all iwitty i spotted on that pages. gonna get some sleep now. if you spot more - you know what to do :) (i mean give me links at my talk page) --~~~~ [talk] 22:24, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

me

a field a junkyard Tratham Square the Swoboda Monument St Theodore's Hospital a warehouse Gifford Place Lerwill Walk Barne Crescent

Borehamwood

Well...actually, they could theoretically be bigger. I just headed NE from the cinema where I started; for all I know, I started in the middle of the burb...  :/

I've unfortunately not been taking iwitness shots...just cutting and pasting screenshots, so I'm afraid I won't have much to hand Duke Garland. --Jen 21:29, 28 October 2008 (UTC)

if you don't want to make iwitness you can also just enter source code of the page and copy lines starting right under the line that says suburb name and finishing with the line right above the one that has
tag. that is the meatsome part where the location names go and coordinates and location type tags. what i do with iwitty is actully copypasting this part. then i feed it to an angry beaver and that one pokes hamsters that run in the wheels that make electricity in my house enough to power up database where i store all this info. after that another magic wand and info from database gets parsed to wikipage User:Duke Garland/BHW. That's it. hamsters. key thing. --~~~~ [talk] 22:29, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
Naw, I'll take iwits from here on out. Sounds a BIT simpler than trying to sort through source code. ;)--Jen 22:49, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
