Talk:Anti Cheater Alliance
The accusation that I've been emailing the bot to "group leaders" or anyone for that matter is an outright lie and I demand you either cite proof or retract it. Oh wait, this is Grim S I'm talking to; you never let the facts get in your way, do you. Utterly pathetic.---Sentinel 10:34, 24 March 2006 (GMT)
- Hello sentinel. That claim came from an IRC log involving one of those people who recieved the program. Im trying to contact the person who reported it, but that person dropped off the map a few weeks ago. Ill give it another three days, and remove it then if i still cant contact that person. --Grim s 11:26, 26 March 2006 (BST)
- Your 3 days are up. Given that nothing approaching proof has been offered here (logical, since it never happened) I presume you will be removing the false "report" shortly?---Sentinel 07:45, 30 March 2006 (BST)
- It isnt false as far as i know, but that person has proven unreachable, so im taking that info down. See? I am a reasonable person, despite whatever you may believe. --Grim s 11:39, 30 March 2006 (BST)

Anti Petty Bullshit Alliance, anyone? -- Amazing 00:03, 26 March 2006 (GMT)
- Yeah, we are against petty bullshit too.--Denzel Washington 16:55, 26 March 2006 (BST)
I am planning to write my own version of sentinals bot, just to test how it could be done. It will not be publicly released and all code will be deleted after i've finished. Would this count as cheating?--The General 12:47, 30 March 2006 (BST)
- So long as you neither release it, nor use it beyond the tests to see if it works, we are ok with it. Of course, we wont be able to tell, and kevan is the final word on that stuff (Though all indications are that he doesnt like people to use bots). --Grim s 12:54, 31 March 2006 (BST)
- Thanks, it won't be used apart from testing. It's more fun to play the game myself.--The General 20:42, 2 April 2006 (BST)
- The first issue with a botting program, is the IP hit limit. Unsure if you are still interested in this, but this is one solution that I came up with. It is less than elegant, and may not work. It's for the cheap arses who can't afford $5.
- Solution 1 — Program logs into the botter's account, using a randomly chosen proxy (from a really large list of proxy servers) as a go-between.
- And another, that will work:
- Solution 2 — Pay $5 to Kevan.
- Beyond the IP limit is the actual program itself.
- Parse text from the page, and match it to preset criteria.
- Send back the URL that 'causes barricading.
- Making the entire thing as a Firefox extension is a way you could avoid problems associated with UD's possible protections against anything other than a browser sending the URLs in.
- Overall, the whole "make a barricade bot" is a simple matter. But why bother, even as a purely intellectual exercise it is rather dull, there are more useful things that you could spend time coding, if you wished to. –Xoid S•T•FU! 14:58, 4 May 2006 (BST)

Aren't you guys breaking copyright laws with that anti-Zerg logo? Before you know it that zerg might show up here threatening you guys with an army of lawyers,.. that is if we'd understand one word he's saying/squishing. ;) ~ It's a good initiative, during the siege at Caiger we killed many zergers there. Upto a point wehere some duped zergers tried to get CMS-Meta signed up as a PK'er group.. funny people..--Vykos 13:05, 10 April 2006 (BST)
Zerg Reporting
Note: This 'topic' is put at the top of the stack, as most User_Talks are. If this incorrect protocol, then please correct my error.
I have proof of a zerger. His name is 'Nelson', he operates 27 and Nelson27 and is attacking Heddington Walk Railway Station:
Picture profile of Nelson27 profile of 27
Also, there really should be a note about how to use this, and where to report zergers. --Tec7890 18:49, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
BME
My name is Legend X. I am a high ranking official of BME. I am not a zerger. I have come to the discussion page to attack the validity of the BDS slander on the front page. I tried to edit the NPOV (which is not neutral at all as it stands) but Grim asked me to stop. I have asked Denzel to stop vandalizing my page over 25 times - and he's been warned by the mods on three occasions as well - but he won't quit. I am trying to take the high road and will answer his BS lies.
I actually bought brain rot by accident. My name is NOT [name removed] although I use his yahoo email (as do several co-workers) so that we don't get in trouble at work. Josh is the owner of Willie B who is NOT a member of BME and isn't even Yagoton anymore. I had NO personal knowledge of Logan X before he joined and there is NO reason to think we are the same people if you check IP address, etc. Right now, 3/24/2006 at 9:30am est there are characters in the mall called Logan Wade, Logan Bock and Terror X. That doesn't mean that all Logans are related or all people with the surname X are related. That is stupid. Neither Willie B nor Wayne Smith are members of BME -so I dopn't know why you mention them under our group heading - but Logan X and myself are members.
Also, people create similar names accts for two reasons - to zerg, or to accuse their enemies of zerging. The fake Wayne Smiths and Donnie Bakers were low level players who haven't been seen in Bale Mall in several months and since they KILLED the real Wayne Smith and the real Donnie Baker we obviously realized they were enemy zergers. right now there are 6 players in Bale mall named Drake Darringer. the jerk who created them is obviously an enemly of Drake Darringer. Only someone as ignorant as Denzelwould think they are the same player working together.
In closing I would like to say that the BME feels Denzel Washington, M Tek, Filial Justice, Holly Slutbag, Penis Piper, Penis Piddler, Oprah, etc. are ALL the same player. I can't say that definitely, by wiki rules, but they do act in tandem to kill the same people over and over again and furthermore they vandalize the same wiki pages over and over again (Denzel has been warned at least 3 times and 2 of the vandals have been banned for 24 hours for vandalism of our page). As with all cases of zerging - it is impossible to prove - but if they can say nasty things about a solid group of players (BME) that are trying to protect others, then we can do the same. - Legend X
- First of all: This page is a group page (Scroll down and you will see it has the tags that places it in the Zombie and Human groups categories), and as such we have no obligation to be NPOV at all in the body text. We recieve a report, investigate it, and write it up on the page, so that others can identify cheating cunts and exterminate them. I created this page as a direct step to stop the edit wars such accusations were causing across the wiki (Which annoyed the mods to no end) where people claimed it could not be proven (The Notable exception being with zombie squad, where after a long patch of investigation both the accused actually confessed to it).
- As to your serious accusations: It has been confirmed on Desensitised that Holly Slutbag and Penis Piper are one set of zergs (Confirmed by the girlfriend of said person). Denzel Washington has not been proven to be associated with those two although his name apepars alongside theirs on many wiki pages as a suspected Pker. I can only assume that M Tek is all the others you mention there, and thats only from drawing upon what i have read from you elsewhere, specifically your groups page and your groups talk page.
- We cannot check IP addresses, that requires tools to which only kevan has access, and in any case such issues are easily circumvented with an anonymous proxy server. Your attempts to explain away the correllations are simply too unreliable for us to take your word for it. If we did it for you, we would have to do it for everyone who made that excuse, without any way of verifying the story. What would be required in this instance is links to old posts (Or screenshots of emails) where the email address was linked up for you all, subsequent posts or emails verifying the use of the email by all the people in question, showing screen captures of the zergs attacking the "prime" character, and a bloody good explaination of why you did not terminate these accounts on site and post them on your page as enemies of your group (Incidentally, that last act alone would have completely absolved you on that count, had you done it before we called you on it, something to keep in mind in the future).
- As it stands, until such information is forthcoming, your status will be retained on the main page. It is not an all or nothing thing however, and each individual accusation will be treated seperately for the purposes of being removed in the event that you actually manage to cough up the goods in an unaltered screenshot. --Grim s 17:18, 27 March 2006 (BST)
- I understand you want to protect Denzel (you may be one of his alts too for all I know) as he has a stake in this site, but honestly he hasn't proven that he is NOT a zerging Pker. I cannot just take you voching for him. After all, you won't take our word for our actions either. Many non-BME members have Denzel on their PKer lists and he is killed almost daily when he returns to Yagoton -and not only by BME. - Legend X
- Legend X, unlike you, we have evidence to substantiate our claims. All you have is an asserted that they act in tandem, which, if you will pardon my expression, is about as valid in an argument as a swimming pool full of horse excrement. The burden of proof is upon the person doing the asserting. We backed up our claims, you have to either attack that evidence or you have to provide conflicting evidence. Similiarly, you have to provide something solid to back up your claim of Denzel being a zerger, because at the moment you dont have a leg to stand on.
- I can give you the reason why Denzel kills your characters: Your characters are on the pker list on the Desensitised boards, and he plays as a bounty hunter of the people on that list (Another person on that list is me, for 35 killings). As a result of your strong arm tactics against bounty hunters like him, many pkers base in Bale Mall, so it really does make sense that there will be a bunch of them farming your group and the mall for bounty points.
- Oh, would you care to respond to the rest of my comments perchance? You ignored a great deal of it to rant about Denzel. --Grim s 22:15, 29 March 2006 (BST)
- Honestly Legend X, i never thought you'd get more stupid than you already showed. but you managed to make it and amaze me one more time. About the "many people having me on their PK list": you'd expect it, after me killing 66 different Pkers, am i right. I mean hell, some people HAVE to be pissed off about it.--Denzel Washington 23:29, 29 March 2006 (BST)
- Oh, after checking my records, i found that i shot and axed Holly Slutbag to death on the evening of the 8th of January (Screenie: [1]) At no time did Denzel complain to me about this, even though we were in regular contact even back then, further distancing the two in my mind, as we had a rivalry going where he desperately wanted to shoot and kill my Pking character, and thus would have complained loudly on IRC had he been connected. --Grim s 16:53, 6 April 2006 (BST)
If you actually check it, the multiple "Willie Smiths" and "Donnie Bakers" all are Level 1 scouts, all were created on nearly exact same date (which happens to be different then the actual date of creation for the real Willie Smith and Donnie Baker), and furthermore all have exactly the same dupliacted profile / group info. Their profile links have been listed on the Desensitized forums by Paddy Fitzgerald. I can't link to them, since one of Denzels pals who moderate there has banned me for a sharp reply to Denzels constant flaming against both me and the BME, but you can go and check.
I doubt BME would be braindead enough to commit such blatant zerging - even RedZeko wasn't.
--The Fifth Horseman 15:08, 7 April 2006 (BST)
Legend X said a lot of times those accounts were used to kill people. Since they are scouts, This is impossible. Further proof he's bullshitting.--Denzel Washington 17:38, 7 April 2006 (BST)
- It should be noted that Legend X wrongfully deleted the above comment and replaced it with "Don't try to use logic with Denzel. I think he may be retarded - Legend X". He has been reported for vandalism as a result. --Grim s 12:48, 10 April 2006 (BST)
Don't try to use logic with Denzel. I think he may be retarded - Legend X
- (I have every right in the world to question Denzel's mental faculties. that isn't vandalism jackass)- Legend X Yeah, but you have no right to delete something he said and replace it with your inflammatory remark. Check the history, it's clear vandalism. --Mia K (sotss) 21:44, 10 April 2006 (BST)
- I removed a sentence off the group page because anyone clicking on willie b's character page can tell that the sentence is false. willie b's owner is someone name joe pullo, and not who it is stated to be in that sentence. Dawgjz 04:40, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
- And I put it back. You can't just go re-writing peoples comments, especially when you misrepresent what was said. No where in what you removed did the author claim to be [name removed], in fact they stated quite clearly that they were "NOT [name removed]" -- boxy talk • teh rulz 12:08 3 November 2009 (BST)

A few significant edits
It occurred to me belatedly that this might be a "group" page, whereas I was considering it to be a policy page (UD in-game policy, not wiki moderation policy) much like the Sacred Ground Policy. If my changes are out of line, please feel free to take whatever measures are appropriate.
I've thought since December about a Separate Lives Policy statement with a banner that a group could place on their group page, indicating that their group expected a high (?) standard of behavior. In other words, these groups would demand adherence to the spirit and intentions of Kevan's comments, rather than allowing group members to push the limits of antizerging countermeasures. I think that it is pretty clear: at every opportunity where Kevan has chosen to speak on this issue, he has reaffirmed entirely separate lives. While groups affirming Separate Lives Policy would ultimately be policing themselves, placing a policy statement would at least provide a common framework for argument. I'm confident that the RRF would post such a policy statement, since the group organizers seem to believe that adhering to a Separate Lives Policy makes for a better and more enjoyable MMORPG. Obviously, I agree, and I am very confident that many of the groups I work with would support such a policy as well.

About multi abuse
The accused zergers here on the wiki got hostile and technical, and pointed out that they did not "meet the wikipedia definition of Zerging." I don't consider this a problem -- I hope the multi abuse page makes it clear that MULTI-ABUSE IS CHEATING. Is, was, and always will be cheating. The accused zergers met the definition of multi-abusing cheater, and would be placed on the list of cheaters, even if that list was mistitled "Zerg Liste." Pedants. --Tycho44 11:34, 10 April 2006 (BST)
HUGE Zerging Problem
The I.U.S.S. is currently being relentlessly assaulted by a cowardly PKer who keeps two accounts and has openly zerged. The initial attacks were entirely unprovoked; the offender has deemed our ideaology a threat to him, though we have only acted aggressively in response. He is Awesmonious: http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=355141 and Dudenacious: http://www.urbandead.com/profile.cgi?id=338545. I have proof here: [2] I would appreciate it if he were added to your list. Permanently. Ytookay 18:09, 30 May 2006 (BST)
Sorry, didn't know where to put this. I suspect Predater & Predater4 of being zerg characters (multi-abusers, whatever)
Here is a screenshot taken in Pitneybank at the Billet Road Fire Station. I find their names to be too similarly misspelled to be coincidence. It caught my eye & I thought I may as well report it. My apologies if I am incorrect.
Another accusation of Zerging, with a screenshot of the event from Darvall Heights. A quick check of the names, shadowhawk66666 and shadowss shows they're both apparently played by the same person, and certainly (from the timestamp) played nearly simultaneously.Cziesckowa 22:10, 2 August 2006 (BST)
Proof?
What proof do you consider valid of zerging if someone does not have a screenshot?
Let's say, there are four characters with "theme" names, all registered within a period of 20 minutes and all belonging to the same group as well. All operate within the same suburb as well. Would that be enough? --The Fifth Horseman 17:11, 19 June 2006 (BST)
- Oh my GOD! You're so right! Obviously none of them would possibly know one another and all joined the same group. Let's see if I can do the same thing. 12 Abandoned members created within 4 days of each other, including your leader: Alf Hari jamiroo Mr Miau Eagle of Fire 2Kearnsy Doubler SonnyBonds Toxik1 Byardicus Aboutblank Dana Lomack Aristharus. Obvious proof of zerging in The Abandoned.
- Of course, I could always look at the blatant proof. Danny252 Danev252. “Ooo. The credibility is damaged on that post, Tom. What sort of comeback will they come up with next?? --Akule 09:03, 20 June 2006 (BST)
